Chapter 54
Alena
The throbbing headache had awaken me from my nightmare, making me yelp forward. However, my movements were restricted as my hands were tied behind my back, along with the metal chair.
sore.
to realise I was freezing. My feet were on the cold The coldness of the room caused me to shudder and it didn't take me floor, my eyes were closed and wrapped by a thick black cloth-probably had been in this position for the past few hours because my body had gotten Maybe, the soreness came from the endless beating I took.
I winced as I felt the pain on my rib and I instantly knew it was broken.
My face felt puffy and sore, making it hard for me to speak. Even as I tried to scream, nothing came out of my mouth due to the burning pain in my throat. My voice came out like a whisper How long had I been screaming? How many times were I beaten up?
Those questions kept replaying in my head. I felt as if I had lost track of time, I couldn't remember if I was kidnapped yesterday or a few days ago, all I could feel was the pain all over my body and how I was left unattended.
My stomach growled in hunger and my throat felt dry from t
om thirst.
Iried to free my hands from being tied down but the struggles had only caused my wrists to burn from the abrasion. My whole body felt weak and drained, I felt as if I was losing my mind from the unknown.
"Somebody! Somebody, help me!" I shouted, forcing my voice to come out.
My throat continued to burn but I ignored it, only wanted to save myself.
As I heard noises coming from the outside, I knew the pyscho had heard my screams. The moment he walked in and closed the door behind him, my body trembled in fear; many things began to play in my head, different ways of how I could die. I couldn't see the stranger in front of me but I could feel his presence and it sent shivers down my spine, afraid of him-I didn't know if he was holding anything. He could hurt me and I couldn't help myself as much as I wanted to. "Please, let me go." I muttered, begging.
"My family will find you The man asked, the same person that had kidnapped me.
and kill
"Really? You've been here for three days now, they haven't done anything to save you."
My heart sank at the fact of being trapped here for three days. No wonder my body felt weak, I hadn't been eating or drinking anything except for a few sips. It was only to make sure I stayed alive regardless of developing any health issues later on.
It was impossible for Papa or Alexei to not find me; they were supposed to be able to track me down. As for Matteo, I knew he was already losing his mind at my disappearance. He wasn't going to let this one slide away. Papa was known to hold grudges, he wasn't going to let anyone hurt his daughter. Yet, I had been strapped and tortured to the bones, nobody came to save me.
I knew they were trying. I knew they were doing their very best to find me.

I just needed to trust them and stay hopeful.
"When they do, they'll burn you alive." I said through gritted teeth.

However, the man only laughed, as if I was making a joke. I could hear his footsteps as he circled around me, taunting me. He knew I was vulnerable and he knew I wasn't able to do anything to free myself so he decided to fool around. I held back my tears, not wanting him to see them.
As much as I wanted to cry, this was not the right time. As much as I felt the throbbing and stinging pain all over my body, I couldn't let him find satisfaction in my suffering.
"If they do find me. You can only hope, princess." He replied, tugging onto my hair.
I groaned in pain, my head being pulled back.
could
feel his warm breath at the side of my face as he whispered, "But they will find you, beautiful and when they do, they'll see the broken pieces of you. Nothing left to salvage. You'll end up to be nothing." He let go of my hair and began to unfold me, making me blink a few times.
My eyes began to adjust to my surrounding, surprised to find myself in a dark room. The man in front of me wasn't wearing a mask but I couldn't even catch a glimpse of his face, leaving me feeling frustrated. "What do you want from me?" I asked, still struggling to break free.
"I don't want anything from you. Just from your husband," he replied.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
"My husband?"
"Oh, and a little bit from your brother. It's nice to know how much I can control them when you're trapped here. They won't do anything s****id, would they? They won't risk you."
"What do you want from them? What did they do to you?"
"Many, many, things, Alena. You're too naive to understand that,"
I shook my head, "You're not any better."
I could see his sinister grin as he turned to look away, standing near the wall. "Why would I tell you anything? You actually have no use for me here. Oh, you actually do, you're in control of what they can do for me." "They're not going to do anything for you."
"Of course they're not. That's where you came along,"
He stood in front of me and this time, his face was visible. I could see the darkness of his eyes, the thick furrowed eyebrows and the grin plastered on his face-it wasn't the look on his face that had scared me but the look in his eyes. He had zero remorse nor fear.
I closed my eyes at the touch of his fingers, trying to move my face away because of how disgusted I felt but he gripped my cheeks, not letting me move.
"Even with all these bruises... you're still very beautiful. Matteo is very lucky to have you, isn't he?" He smirked, "That little b*****d has everything. A perfect life. A perfect family. A perfect little wife."
"Let me go."
He gripped harder, "But you're quite the fighter, aren't you? Haven't stopped struggling ever since I brought you here. Aren't
you tired, princess?"
"Don't touch me!" I said, spitting at his face.
The sudden action had caught him off guard as he stared into my eyes, with an intensity I haven't seen before. Deep down, I regretted doing that but at the same time, I felt satisfied in being able to fight back. His hands on my cheeks went away as he wiped the spit, chuckling as he did so. This man found it to be amusing.
"Quite the fighter, indeed." He muttered under his breath, smirking. "Let's see if you would put up a fight when I'm inside you."
My eyes widened and I immediately began to scream, kicking my legs out. However, he didn't waste any time but to slap my face, making me fall onto the ground with the chair. I landed on my side, the same side where I had a broken rib and it took me a few seconds to recatch my breath. "Fuck,"
"I groaned in pain.
He untied my ankles from the chair and began to turn me around, my stomach on the ground.
Tears continued to
I to escape my eyes as I kicked out. I knew where this was heading and I had feared it the most-he could beat me up, torture me as much as he wanted but I wasn't going to let him take me like that.
I kept on screaming as he pulled down my shorts, almost ripping them away.
"Look at that beautiful p***y," he said from behind.
Get the f***k away f
from me!"
"What the f****k are you doing?" Someone said, causing us to stay quiet.
I turned to look at the man standing by the door, someone bigger and taller. The tears had clouded my vision but I knew this man held more power over the low-life behind me because the p***o had quickly buttoned his pants, moving away from me. "Nothing. Just playing around," he replied.
"Tie her back to the chair."
I was being roughly tied back to the chair and left face to face with the other man by the door; I could see him staring intensely at me but he didn't bother to come closer.
"She's ruined enough. Get the camera."
My eyebrows furrowed but I decided to keep quiet, not wanting to say another word. The lunatic had rushed out the door, leaving me alone with the other man.
As he waited for him to come back, he hadn't looked away or stopped staring at me.
"Alena Orlov."
Orlov. The man had called me by my family name instead of Matteo's.
It had caught me by surprise but I kept quiet, finding it useless to say anything. This man was no different than the previous one, he may had stopped the man from doing repulsive things to me but he was still the devil behind this plot. He had evil intentions. He was the leader.

When the man came back with the camera, he didn't waste any time to turn it on and take my picture-the bright flash had caused me to look away, they had somehow blinded me for a few seconds.
"Take another one," the man said.
And another flash reappeared.
"Perfect. That'll do."
Just like that, the door began to close shut and I was left on my own again.
