Chapter 27 : Admit It, You Like It Very Much
How could she forget? She knew better than anyone that the relationship between them was nothing more than a contract.
“It’s up to you.” Wendy was too lazy to pester him any further. She said huffily, “Hurry up and leave. I have classes to attend.”
Rex’s eyes grew grim as he asked, “Do you hate it when I show up? Do you think I made you lose face?”
“Idiot!” Thought Wendy.
Wendy deliberately ignored him, pursed her lips, and glared at the female teachers by the window. She had felt that something was wrong just now. It turned out that they were peeping at Rex. This man’s flirting skills were first-class.
“Yes, I just don’t like it.”
Rex was very smart. He followed Wendy’s gaze and understood in her heart. He curled his lips into a smile and deliberately whispered in her ear, “Admit it. You like it very much.”
As soon as Wendy heard the low and seductive voice, her ears went numb. She suddenly turned her head and Rex kissed her on the forehead. Although it was just a light kiss, it was the first time in front of so many people that she blushed. “What…… are you doing?”
Rex smiled and didn’t say anything. He pulled her into his arms, explaining everything with his actions.
“What are you doing?” Wendy blushed and pushed him away. “Everybody is looking at us.”
“Can’t I hold my wife? Okay, go to class and I’ll take you out for dinner tonight.”
“Hey!” Wendy shouted. Seeing Rex leave without looking back, she felt a little disappointed in her heart.
He left after causing her a lot of trouble.
“Rex Gavyn!”
“Such a badass!”
On her way to the classroom. She was still immersed in her emotions and did not know that she would bump into someone if she took one more step forward.
Justin Brown took a step forward and intentionally pressed himself against Wendy’s body. When he saw her panicked expression, his heart was filled with joy.
Wendy immediately took a step back when she saw who it was, “I’m…… I’m sorry.”
The collar of the white shirt was slightly untied, revealing Justin’s clavicle. His eyes were clear, sunny, and handsome. He was worthy of the title of school hunk.
“It doesn’t matter, Wendy.” Justin glanced at her forehead and asked with a frown, “How did your head get hurt?”
Wendy was well aware of the feeling of Justin towards her. No matter how improper it was, she was still Rex’s rightful wife and she couldn’t do anything about it.
Her tone was indifferent. “It’s okay, it’s by accident. I’ll go back to class now.”
As soon as she took a few steps out, Wendy’s wrist was grabbed by someone from behind. She shook it off reflexively, turned around, and asked, “What are you doing?”
“In the past, no matter how much of a scoundrel Justin was, he would never use violence. What was going on today?” She thought.
Additionally……
Her reaction seemed to be a little too big. He was just scratching her wrist, or maybe she was thinking too much.
After being with that man for a long time, she had developed the habit of mysophobia.
“I can’t stand someone touching my woman!”
Rex’s words suddenly rang in her ears and she felt a sweetness in her heart. Now that she thought about it, he was domineering at that time. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
Justin looked at the unconscious smile on Wendy’s lips and felt inexplicably uncomfortable. He asked, “Wendy, do you have time this weekend?”
“Huh?” Wendy suddenly came back to her senses. “What did you say?”
A smile reappeared on Justin’s face as he repeated, “I asked you if you were free this weekend. My friend gave me two movie tickets and no one accompanied me.”
“No one will be with the school hunk? Are you kidding me? This reason is really bad.” Thought Wendy.
“Sorry, I have to go home on the weekend.”
Justin wanted to say something more, but Wendy had already turned around and left. He was lost in thought as he stared at Wendy’s back, completely unaware that this scene had landed in another pair of eyes that were filled with hatred.
“Wendy, how dare you steal my man!”
The schoolwork was not heavy, and the day passed quickly.
When school is over, a haze suddenly covered the horizon. Wendy thought to herself, “Oh no, is it going to rain?”
As expected, as soon as she walked out of the school gate, the rain fell and drenched her.
She shrank her body and took out her phone from her backpack. She called Rex, but the line is always busy.
Wendy regretted her decision. If she had known earlier, she would have been with Daisy.
Just as she was at a loss, an umbrella suddenly covered her head. She looked over and asked, “Justin?”
“Why aren’t you looking for a place to hide?” Justin asked. He unconsciously looked in a certain direction.
Wendy’s hair was wet from the rain, the rain sliding down her cheeks drop by drop until it slid down to her chest. She noticed Justin’s gaze, so she cautiously put her backpack in front of her and nodded slightly, “Thank you, I have to go.”
However, before she could take any action, she was pulled away by a powerful force. She stared blankly at Rex, who was standing in front of her. His back was straight and she felt a chill as he said coldly, “Get back into the car.”
Wendy’s eyelashes were wet from the rain. She trembled in the air and did not move for a long time.
Rex turned around, and a cold look appeared in his eyes. “Move your feet!”
“Okay, I’ll go!”
Wendy walked back with reddened eyes. Clare had already been waiting by the side of the car with an umbrella. When he saw her, he immediately greeted her. “Mrs. Gavyn! Where are you going?”
Clare stopped her, only to find that her eyes were already red. “Why couldn’t Mr. Gavyn talk to Mrs. Gavyn nicely?”
Wendy had a belly full of grievances. “Damn Rex, why are you yelling at me? Did I provoke him?”
Rex stood there, his suit soaked in the rain, and his eyes were blazing. “Don’t let me see you again.”
After that, he turned around and left, leaving Justin stunned where he stood.
“Mr. Gavyn……” Clare handed the umbrella to Rex, but he beat it off with one hand. The rain splashed all over Wendy’s body. “Clare, you take a taxi back.”
“Huh?” Clare was stunned. Rex’s sharp gaze swept over him, and he immediately replied obediently, “Yes, Mr. Gavyn.”
Clare cast a sympathetic look at Wendy. “Oh no, Mrs. Gavyn is going to suffer again.”
The rain blurred Wendy’s vision. She raised her head and when she saw that Rex was drenched in rain, most of the anger in her heart dissipated. Her eyes suddenly became wet, and it was unknown if it was tears or rain.
“Why did you come so late?”
Rex was very pleased with this little complaint. It seemed that this woman knew how to act coquettishly.
Rex had always been a man of action. He carried Wendy in his arms, ignored her resistance, and stuffed her into the car. He turned on the heater and threw her a towel. “Clean yourself.”
“Ah-choo-” Before she could wipe herself clean, she had sneezed a few times. Wendy remembered that Rex had mysophobia and that his clothes were stained with water. She coughed twice and said, “Your clothes…… are dirty.”
“It’s okay. Drink this.” Rex took a water bottle from the side, which was filled with dark red liquid. Wendy took it and asked, “What’s this?”
