All Out Of Love

Chapter 171 The Truth

Chapter 171 The Truth

Carlos kept murmuring. His sexy voice touched Celia's heart, melt the ice outside her heart at an incredible speed.

The two people who were having a romantic moment earlier, Celia suddenly pushed Carlos away with a strong force, which even shocked Carlos.

She was close to the car door. Her hands unconsciously made a defensive posture, and her dark eyes were also flickering with uneasiness.

She bit her red lips and said, "I don't care what you are going to do. I won't go back with you before the problem is solved."

She had made up her mind to abort the baby. But all of a sudden, Carlos came to her and he just said "I will solve it." how could she remove heart defense so easily?

Would it be another cycle of trust and injury?

No way!

Carlos stood outside of Celia's defense. His thick eyebrows were slightly wrinkled. He kept silent for a moment and slightly sighed. "Then I'll take you back to the apartment you rent first."

Celia bit her lips and nodded.

It was like a temporary safe house for her.

There was the best place to belong before she got along well with Carlos.

Carlos sent Celia to her rental house. Despite her unwillingness, he insisted on sending her upstairs.

Celia had been staying outside for a long time. She was a little thirsty.

After entering the door, she went straight to the water fountain and poured a cup of cold water with her cartoon mug, drinking half of it.

She turned around and saw Carlos. She asked him unconsciously, "do you want some water?"

Carlos nodded.

Celia was about to take a disposable cup for him. However, the glass in her hand had been snatched away by him. She raised her head and drank the water in it.

Celia was stunned and a little embarrassed.

That was her cup.

But Carlos didn't notice that. He stretched out his hand and said, "not enough."

Celia took the glass. After a moment's hesitation, she didn't change the glass again. She poured another glass of water and handed it to Carlos.

Carlos compressed his lips and nodded with a smile.

"I'll leave now."

Carlos said after drinking the water.

Celia glanced at him and nodded.

Carlos rubbed her hair and asked, "what do you want for dinner?"

She compressed her lips and said, "whatever."

From his tone, Celia could tell that Carlos was confident in dealing with the matter properly?

Or

Had he prepared for the worst?

She still felt a heartache.

If there was only Ashley she needed to deal with, she wouldn't care a little.

However, Sven was only a child.

After all, she was a mother of two children now. She was always kind to the children.

But she said nothing in the end.

She believed that without her reminding, Carlos would also try his best to avoid any harm to Sven.

hospital.

Ashley asked the nurse to pull back the curtain a little bit to block the dazzling light.

After several days in the hospital, the operation for intracranial hemorrhage and sight had been basically cleared up.

But she could not use it for too long or too harsh, or her eyes would still hurt.

The wounds on her body were almost healed. The original white and smooth skin was covered with scars, which made her feel depressed.

But no matter how deep the wound on the body was, it was not as deep as the injury in the heart.

More than a week.

Since Sven attempted to kill himself, Carlos had never shown up!

He had visited Sven in the pediatric ward every day, but he had never come to see her!

Even though they were in the same hospital and the distance was so close, it seemed to be impossible for them to reach each other.

So when Carlos's tall and straight figure appeared at the door of the ward, Ashley felt that she was either daydreaming or making a mistake.

Was it her hallucination because she missed Carlos so much?

With a grieved laugh, Ashley didn't dare to touch her eyes. She could only try her best to blink and see a slender figure approaching step by step. Her delicate lips couldn't help but open wide.

It wasn't an illusion.

It was really Carlos!

He finally came to see her?

He was more or less concerned about her?

Surprise waved like waves, lashing over the calm lake and bringing endless waves.

"Carlos..."

It had been many days since Ashley last saw Carlos. Calling the name she had missed so much, Ashley couldn't help crying.

Her eyes were red, looking miserable.

It was not until Carlos got close that she saw the expression on his face clearly.

Indifference, as cold as ice.

Her restlessness and panic, like a monster in the deep sea, were baring their fangs and claws in the dark.

"Go downstairs with me."

Carlos said in a cold voice.

Suddenly, she felt nervous. After a long while, she said, "go downstairs To do what? "

Carlos looked at her indifferently. "Tell Sven all the truth."

Her body stiffened together with her thoughts. She asked dully, "all the truth?"

Carlos answered her in silence.

"I don't understand What do you mean? "

Carlos looked at her with sharp eyes, seeing through the fear in her eyes. He said in a low voice, "you know."

The panic in Ashley's eyes intensified and she shook her head and said, "no, I don't understand, and I don't want to understand either!"

Carlos still looked indifferent, as if he did not intend to talk more with her.

Then Carlos turned around and walked out.

The panic deep inside Ashley's heart erupted like a volcanic eruption. She scrambled out of the bed, ran behind Carlos, grabbed his arm and shouted in panic, "Carlos, what are you doing?"

Carlos frowned when he saw Ashley's hand which was holding his arm.

Ashley's arm trembled, and she instinctively wanted to withdraw her hand, but she finally gritted her teeth and didn't let go of it.

If she let him go, was he going to tell Sven the truth?

But why?

Why did it happen all of a sudden? Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

He had promised her!

"Why? Carlos." Asked Ashley in a trembling voice.

Carlos jerked his arm out of her grip, and subconsciously fumbled on the spot where Ashley had grasped. He didn't intend to explain more.

"You have promised me. You can't do this!"

A cold light flashed through Carlos's eyes. He cast a cold glance at Ashley.

"Do you think I really don't know what you have done?"

This sent a chill down Ashley's spine, but she didn't know what he was referring to.

She had done a lot of things behind his back.

"The reason why I'm willing to keep my promise never is you."

Every word that Carlos uttered was like a sharp knife, cutting into Ashley's heart.

He wouldn't even give her a single chance.

Ashley's face turned deathly pale. Trembling, she felt more and more painful in her heart.

The reason why he changed his mind was because that woman, Celia, had said something to him.

It must be so!
