Chapter 352: It’s not good, is it?
Roxane asked Sebastien if he was returning to the Flores family’s old house for the New Year. Should she accompany him?
There were some uncles and elders in the Flores family. Besides, he was the head of the family, so naturally he had to be at the Flores mansion on New Year’s Eve.
Roxane had already thought about it, so she wasn’t too disappointed. It was just that she couldn’t have New Year’s Eve dinner with her parents. It would be the same if she went back to eat on the second day of the new year.
Sabrina didn’t feel too disappointed. After all, after her daughter got married, she had to put her family first. It didn’t matter whether she came back for the New Year or not.
On the twenty-ninth day of the new year, Sebastien brought Roxane back to the old house of the Flores family.
It really was an old mansion. The decoration of the building was completely antique, giving off the feeling of an ancient family.
When the elders of the Flores family saw Roxane, they also congratulated her. Sebastien knew how to choose a woman. She was young, beautiful and had a good butt. She might give birth in the future.
Roxane was speechless.
Sebastien saw that she was not used to it and said lightly:
– Return everyone
Although they were elders, now that Sebastien was the head of the Flores family, they did not dare to act rashly and left again.
Roxane breathed a long sigh of relief.
Sebastien pinched his cheek.
– Don’t take their words to heart. Their words don’t matter here.
Roxane took a deep breath and smiled.
– I’m doing well. I just feel a lot of pressure.
Sebastien raised his eyebrows.
-I feel that if I don’t give birth to a prince to inherit the throne, I won’t be able to keep my position as empress!
Sebastien couldn’t help but laugh. He lowered his head and kissed her cheek. His voice was low and hoarse.
– You don’t have to feel pressured, because you are more valuable.
He could do without the Prince, but he could not do without the Empress.
Roxane was afraid of being seen in a strange place, so she pushed him away.
– Not moving. Don’t spoil your image as head of the family.
Sebastian sat back, leaned back in the chair and looked at her with his bright eyes.
His eyes were as sticky as silk.
Roxane blushed and turned her head away. Thinking the mood was perfect, she tried to speak.
– Mr. Seb, I met…
Before she could finish, a crisp voice came from the door,
-Big brother, big brother!Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.
Roxane and Sebastien looked up at the same time.
Raoul pushed Christine, who was sitting in a wheelchair, inside.
Roxane was so happy that she got up.
– Christine, why are you back?
– Of course, it’s to spend the New Year with big brother and sister-in-law!
Compared to the depressed Christine before she went abroad, she was much more lively and cheerful.
Sebastian’s expression was calm and unperturbed. He sat on the patriarch’s seat and said indifferently:
-Why did you come back without saying a word?
-I just wanted to surprise you.
Christine pouted and retorted.
Sebastien didn’t say anything, but his eyes moved from her to Raoul.
Raoul welcomed him in a manner that was neither servile nor authoritarian,
– President Flores,
– Oh my God.
– Do you still call him President Flores?
Christine raised her head and looked at him.
-You should call him big brother.
Raoul lowered his head and smiled at her.
-Why are you so impatient?
– You should share the good news with your older brother and sister-in-law. Christine said in a spoiled manner.
Raoul patted his head lovingly.
Sebastian’s eyes darkened, as if he already knew what they were going to say.
Roxane didn’t react in time and asked innocently,
– What good news do you want to share with us?
Christine’s face turned red. She glanced at Raoul and took a small notebook from her pocket.
– I am married.
Roxane was stunned.
– To marry? With whom?
Christine thought she was teasing her, so she shyly called her
– sister in law.
Roxane finally reacted.
– Are you married to senior? Congratulations!
– Thank you, sister-in-law.
– THANKS!
Christine and Raoul said at the same time.
Roxane turned her head to look at the man next to her and found that his facial features were tense, his whole body exuded coldness, and his black eyes were as sharp as knives.
“Mr. Seb,” she cried softly.
Only then did Christine realize that there was something wrong with Sebastien’s expression. She put away her sweet smile and said in a dry voice:
– Big brother…
Sebastien didn’t look at her. Instead, he looked at Raoul and said:
– Follow me.
With that, he stood up and walked towards the desk.
– Oh, please help me take care of Christy.
Raoul leaned over to help her adjust the blanket on her knees.
“Oh,” Roxane replied.
Raoul touched Christine’s face, got up and walked towards the office.
Christine’s almond-shaped eyes were filled with worry and unease. She hesitated for a moment before saying:
-Sister-in-law, can you push me into the study room?
Roxane hesitated.
– It’s not good, is it?
– Sister in law !
Christine’s heart burned with anxiety and worry.
– You don’t understand, big brother. The less he talks, the more serious the situation becomes.
– Is it true?
Roxane bit her lip and tried to remember if she had ever seen Mr. Seb like that.
Christina nodded.
– I took the initiative to marry Raoul. He must be very angry. He won’t do anything to me, but he won’t let Raoul go.
Roxane hesitated for a moment but still pushed her towards the office door.
It wasn’t practical for Christine to sit in a wheelchair, so she begged Roxane,
-Sister-in-law, please help me hear what big brother is saying.
Roxane glanced at the solid, heavy door.
– Eavesdropping is not good behavior.
And she probably couldn’t hear him.
-Sister-in-law, help me hear if there is movement inside!
She clasped her hands and begged:
– My older brother received professional training. If he were to make a move against Raoul, Raoul would definitely not be his match.
Roxane’s heart softened and she couldn’t bear his begging. She had to walk to the door and carefully put her ear to the door, straining to hear the movements inside.
However, she couldn’t hear anything.
Christine’s heart burned with anxiety. Helplessly, she stretched out her hands and whispered:
– I really don’t hear anything.
