Chapter 325 I'm Not Interested In You
Chapter 325 I'm Not Interested In You
'What I expected?'
Jesse looked at Jean angrily. She felt as if Jean had already planned this through.
If she had known Jean was this clever, she would have never asked her in the first place.
Now she got herself in trouble.
The car drove towards the airport smoothly. There was an awkward silence in the car again. The two
stopped talking and remained silent.
They finally arrived at H City International Airport. There were a lot of people.
Jean and Jesse walked towards the Arrival hall which was for domestic flights.
Jesse drew the attention of men by her beauty. They were left drooling all over the place as they looked
at Jesse.
Jean, who was walking beside her, kept her distance from Jesse.
She wanted nobody to look at her so that she could walk in peace. She stood there and looked at
Jesse, quite relaxed.
Jean had always agreed that Jesse's figure was much better than hers.
A woman like Jesse would never be rejected by any men.
Even Zed wouldn't have rejected her. As long as she was brave enough to tell him how she felt about
him, he would have never refused her.
So Jean had mixed feeling as she stood beside Jesse.
Her manipulation skills, on the other hand, were beyond anyone's imagination. Jean could have never
competed against her. NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
She knew that it was a threat to let Jesse stay with them because she might try to ruin their marriage.
But in Jean's heart, she was impressed that Jesse cared for Zed with her heart.
Just like now, she tried doing everything she could to welcome Zed's grandpa.
But why did she choose to stay around Zed?
There are people in this world who are more outstanding than Zed. Why wouldn't she go look for
someone else?
The men who stood around Jesse looked educated, rich and elegant. There might be many who would
have loved to have Jesse as their woman.
Jesse looked as if she didn't care about anything. It was as if she was born for this. She talked to them
elegantly.
Jean sighed and smiled bitterly.
If Jesse really wanted Zed and she confessed her feelings, would Zed still choose Jean?
With what happened recently, Jean didn't think she still had a chance.
She used to be so confident when it came to Zed's feelings for her, but now?
She really couldn't tell.
"Jean, what are you doing standing there? It's about time." Jesse reminded her as she looked at the
clock and waved her hand at Jean.
Jean came back to her senses and walked towards Jesse quickly. When Jean noticed that the men
surrounding Jesse turned to look at her, Jean smiled awkwardly and nodded.
"Miss Tang, is this your sister? How gorgeous!" a gentleman politely asked.
'He is full of lies!
I know I'm not as good-looking as Jesse. So there is no need to compliment me in order to attract
Jesse's attention!'
thought Jean as she felt offended. The look on her face remained calm. She looked at that gentleman
coldly and said,"Mister, don't you know that Miss Tang likes gentlemen, not someone who likes to
gossip? I can tell that you were rejected. So I think you should stop wasting your time now."
"You..." the man said as he glared at Jean. His face turned pale.
"She's right. I'm not interested in you," Jesse said as she tried not to laugh. She pretended to get
serious and said,"Please leave! My grandpa is going to get angry if he sees this."
"Miss Tang, if you say so! But can you tell me your phone number?"
"Yes sure! We can meet and grab coffee together sometime,"
The men surrounding didn't want to let Jesse go. Jean rolled her eyes at them. She grabbed Jesse by
her arm and walked up to the passage in front.
"I'm really impressed that you got the attention of those young men in such a short time. I really wonder
how you have survived all these years?" Jean walked in front of Jesse and asked.
"I am dressed up like this because we are here to welcome grandpa. On usual days, I always keep a
low-profile," Jesse explained in a fairly mild voice because she was grateful to Jean as Jean had
helped her out just now.
Jean thought it was better if Jesse kept her gratefulness to herself. She rolled her eyes and said,"You
are not some actor from the movie. Don't talk about low-profile and high-profile. What difference does
that make?"
She'd always thought that Jesse came between her and Zed in a very high-profile way.
"Jean, tell me who do you think is prettier, me or the actors you were talking about? Who's richer and
more powerful?" Jesse asked. Jesse found Jean's words quite funny. Jesse was the only daughter of
the Tang family. How could Jean compare her with other superstars.
How blind Jean was!
Jean was caught off guard by her question. She looked at Jesse for a while with nothing to say to her
Jesse looked at Jean's face, sighed and said,"Let me tell you! Those celebrities just look like they are
having luxurious lives, but in fact, they are just trying to make a fortune while they are still young. They
are definitely not like me! With my family business and my charms, I can live any way I want. So don't
you dare compare me with other superstars because they are not my match, and don't insult me like
this ever again."
Jean felt stupid after she saw how arrogant Jesse was.
"You are awesome!" After a while, Jean finally came up with three words.
She couldn't deny the truth.
With her social status, those celebrities never competed with her.
It looked like that maybe Jean had underestimated Jesse. Jean's heart skipped a beat.
It was because Jesse had everything but she still ran towards those which she couldn't get.
Jean felt that her heart ached. A name flashed through her mind.
Zed...
"The flight has arrived! Grandpa is going to come out soon," Jesse said with excitement as she focused
her attention on the passageway.
Jean looked ahead. She felt her vision got a little blurry so she rubbed her eyes and it became a little
clearer.
The flight from Imperial Capital to H City didn't have any stops so the number of passengers were
relatively more than usual.
Jean looked through the crowd looking for an old man in his eighties, as she had always imagined.
After some time, the crowd was almost gone but there was no sight of an old man in his eighties.
'Did he not come?'
Jean bit her lips and panicked. She picked up her phone and called to confirm.
Right at that time, she heard a voice full of passion,"Grandpa, I finally see you!"
Jean shivered and her hands began to tremble.
She looked up and saw Jesse as she hugged a man with grey hair. He looked energetic and seemed to
be in his sixties.
'Is that Zed's grandpa, Benjamin Qi?
This can't be possible?' she thought.
