Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 783

Chapter 783

That was right, she still had two projects which weren't completed!

That happened to her just by walking on the road. When Victoria thought of it, she still felt terrified to the bone. She gulped and finally nodded her head in agreement.

"Okay," Victoria reluctantly agreed.

She decided to try going back first. At the least, the Clements family was still safer than being outside! She just needed to pull through the month and finish her projects!

Trevor caressed her hair and was overjoyed by her answer. "I'll ask someone to get you discharged!"

In the afternoon, Trevor carried her in his arms to the car. Along the way, Victoria still wasn't used to meeting people's gazes. She wrapped herself up and buried her small face in his chest.

He obviously noticed her change. She seemed to have become more reserved. Every time he saw her like this, Trevor couldn't help but feel anger rise within him.

When we got home, Victoria got bolder and could no longer sit still. When she was alone, she began to work on her designs. Due to all of her open wounds, she couldn't wear tight clothing or even underwear. This made her feel insecure, so she would just stay in the room all day. Even the servants sent food to her room.

Due to the nature of her work, this wasn't a big deal for Victoria. Staying in and traveling for a few days was just a piece of cake for her. She was used to this kind of life. However, her sudden dullness was extremely abnormal in Trevor's eyes.

Trevor brought a rabbit home before noon. When he entered the room, he came face to face with an empty space.

Huh? Where was she?

When he looked around, he noticed that the quilt was still lifted up. There were books and a tablet on one side of the bed. He heard a faint sound in the bathroom. Trevor turned around and walked over.

As soon as he pushed the door open, he saw a beautiful back covered in scars. At that moment, his eyes turned cold.

The wounds had begun to form scabs. These dark scars looked like they could itch. Victoria looked at herself in the mirror and casted a hateful stare at her ugly body in the mirror. She held a tube of ointment in her hand and was struggling to apply it on her wounds.

"I'll help you!" Trevor said.

Just as she started applying some, a man's voice suddenly came from behind. She quickly put on her clothes properly/

"No... there's no need!" Victoria said, startled.

Why was he back?

When he approached her to hold her waist, Trevor suddenly remembered that he was still carrying a rabbit in his hand. He put it on the ground, washed his hands as picked up the ointment and cotton balls.

"You don't have to be shy. I've seen every inch of you," Trevor said.

Though that was true, he hadn't seen her body after she got hurt! No wonder she wrapped herself so tightly every day and didn't let anyone touch her. Initially, he thought that it was due to post-traumatic stress. However, it turned out that she had many injuries on her body!

What on earth did that b*stard do to her?

"You really don't have to!" Victoria rejected him again.

She didn't want him to see the ugly scars on her body. Victoria wrapped her arms around her body and shied away from him. Every time she saw the scars on her body, her mind would be filled with the image of the evil, twisted face of the man. She would see his perversely excited bloodshot eyes, and hear his mouth speak words of foulness. It was a nightmare - hideous and terrifying beyond description!

Her heart still trembled as she thought of this.

If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she couldn't imagine that men could be so twisted and horrible! Compared to this new encounter, what Trevor had previously done to her seemed like nothing!

Victoria instantly felt fearful as her palms began to sweat.

Trevor stepped forward and held her securely in his arms. "Don't be afraid, it's over!" He would hurt anyone who dared touch her!

After stroking her hair to calm her down, Trevor then slowly removed her clothes and applied some ointment that could help her recover, as well as ease her itch!

"Don't scratch them with your hands. They'll heal soon. The medicine is effective. And don't worry, there won't be any scars!" Trevor added.

As Trevor continued talking, Victoria didn't feel as embarrassed anymore. She placed her hands in front of her body, on top of the bathroom countertop, and her eyes fell on the rabbit on the ground.

Was this a gift? Why did he get such a big rabbit for her? How could she raise such a big rabbit?

It would be cuter if it were smaller!

After putting on her clothes for her, Trevor noticed her glancing around. "Why? Do you like rabbit meat?"

"Huh?" She thought to herself. Was this food?

"I saw someone selling it on the

street. It's for Shirley! If you like it, I'll ask the kitchen to cook it for you!" Trevor said. This was a pet rabbit which didn't taste as nice! If she wanted to have some, he could get her a wild rabbit next time! Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

"But it's alive!" Victoria said, shocked.

Although it was a little chubby, such a snow-white fluffball was very cute!

If it wasn't alive, how could he give it to Shirley for training?

It was rare to see her so talkative. Trevor was very happy and said, "If you like it, you can raise it!"

"OK!" Victoria immediately perked up and agreed.

As she vigorously nodded her head, she seemed to have forgotten about the wounds on her body.

"Shall we go down and find a cage for it?" Trevor asked.

As Trevor led her out the room, he kept thinking about how he wanted her to go out. She looked as pale as a ghost in the past few days, a huge contrast to her previously fair and healthy skin.

"Okay!" Victoria replied.

Trevor picked up the rabbit and stuffed it into her arms. Victoria was so scared that she threw it back to him. "Hey, you carry it! It moves."

Trevor smiled when he saw her closing her eyes, screaming at him to hold the rabbit. He then carried the rabbit in one hand and held her with another as he pulled her out of the room.

When they found a puppy cage,

Trevor put the rabbit inside while the

servant gave Victoria some

vegetable leaves. She squatted next to the cage and poked into it with stick, pushing the vegetable leaves towards the rabbit. When she saw the rabbit moving, she stretched out her hand to stroke its fur. Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

With a giggle, Victoria exclaimed, "The fur is so soft!"

"Ouch, you bit me! Look, the rabbit bites when it's angry!" Victoria said.

"If you bite me again, I'll feed you to Shirley!" She warned.

"Poke, poke... haha... I've poked you..." Victoria continued to giggle to herself.

It looked like getting the rabbit was the right move.

She seemed to have forgotten everything and laughed more often. Looking at her under the sunshine, Trevor felt his heart ache, but his gaze was

smiley.

After a brief moment, the butler quickly came and whispered a few words in Trevor's ear.

"Where is it?" Trevor asked.

"Knowing that you're home, he'll use the back door!" The butler answered.

Trevor glanced at Victoria who was playing happily in front of him, and gave a simple order. "Take care of Madam!"

sneakily to one another. As soon as she got up, she saw them walking around to the back of the house. She caught a glimpse of a car at the front of the door. Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

Who was coming? Why didn't he go through the front door? Was the visitor trying to avoid her?

What kind of person needed to be so secretive?

Her first thought was that the woman had returned - a certain woman who couldn't be known to the public.

Victoria instantly became upset and lost all her interest to play!
