Begging the Divorced Heiresses Back

Chapter 15 Teach bad guy a lesson

Anya's POV:

At the seven-star hotel.

After leaving the Walter Group, I returned to the hotel, feeling exhausted.

I had booked a suite here and had already paid for months. I also hired three nannies to look after the children.

It was not that I could not afford a house. However, at that moment, the convenience of the hotel was more important to me! "Mommy, you are back?"This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

As soon as I opened the door, the two little fellows ran toward me.

"Yeah, Mommy is back!" I bent down to stroke my son's head first then changed my slippers.

"And Ora, how is she?"

"Ora has just woken up!"

"Okay, Mommy is going to check on her first, alright?"

Then, I changed my clothes, washed my face and hands, disinfected myself, and went to my daughter's room.

"Ora, Mommy's home!"

"Mommy!"

The little girl was lying on her bed. As soon as she saw me, a bright smile appeared on her skinny face.

Ora had been hurt by a congenital heart defect and hemolytic anemia ever since she was born. The hemamebas in her body were poorly hematopoietic. So, she would need to be transplanted with new hematopoietic stem cells after some time. For more than three years, my little Ora had been lying in bed, unable to stand up once. Her soft and tender skin was covered with needle marks and scars.

The hospital bills and the cost of follow-up almost cost me a fortune. However, it also motivated me to go forward. I only have one biggest wish that my daughter recover one day, and I could see Ora standing up.

"Ora, does it still hurt?" I asked. As I held my daughter's thin hand, my heart twitched with pain.

Whenever I saw my daughter, I would try my best to prevent the tears welling up in my eyes.

Ora shook her head slightly and replied, "Not anymore."

I was biting my lower lips to fight against the sadness in my heart. She just had a major operation, how could it not be hurtting? Thinking that she must be pretending to be fine, my heart ached even more. "Mommy, can I have some chocolates?" Ora begged weakly.

Seeing my daughter's expectant eyes, I forced myself not to cry. Since she just had an operation, I know her mouth must have filled with bitterness and she wanted to eat something sweet. However, I couldn't give it to her.

"Oh, Ora, you know you just had your pills. How about this? When you get better, Mommy will buy you a whole pack of chocolate!" I said with a forced smile.

Ora's eyes lit up with expectation and she nodded obediently. "But is it okay if I have a look at chocolate, then? I won't eat it."

"Yes, of course, you can." I said as I put the piece of chocolate in my daughter's little hands.

"I won't eat it, Mommy, not until I am better."

Hearing her words, my heart broke and I couldn't control my tears any longer, as they rolled down from cheeks.

I know that she was not lying to me because the little girl was simply too sick to eat anything on her own!

"Yeah, Isn't my Ora the sweetest!" I said in tears and hurried to stand up. Then, I looked at Maria, the nanny I hired to look after the children, and said, "Please take good care of Ora!" I could not bear to stay with my daughter any longer as I was at the edge of a breaking down.

Maria looked at me sadly and said, "I will take care of Ora, but you need to take care of yourself too, Anya!"

"I will, thank you," I said, as I got out of my daughter's room, stood in the corridor, and took a deep breath.

As I was standing there, my eyes fell on my two sons, who were sneaking around the laptop and whispering to each other...

"Oh, my it's going to be a good surprise for that bad guy! I couldn't stop myself from laughing as think about after seeing all these!" "Shh, keep your voice down!"

"You are right! Hump, that bad guy. He deserve this!"

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Huh? Nothing!" Jerry and Jason turned off the laptop at once hearing my voice.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, looking at them.

"We are talking about cartoon we watched just now!" Jason replied.

They love the Internet and have spent too much of their time on it. However, I had always been too occupied with my work to watch over these two

"Don't stare the screen for too long. Its bad for your eyes."

"Yes, Mommy!"

"Alright, you smart pants, go wash your hands and get ready for dinner!"

"Right away!" The boy slipped down the chairs and snickered as they ran to the bathroom.

After dinner, I put the kids in their beds and read them bedtime stories until they were asleep. Then, at last, I went back to my work.

It was already three o'clock in the morning when I closed my laptop and finally was ready to have some sleep.

For years, it has become my routine! I only slept for four hours a day! However, I also have one benefit of this kind of lifestyle! That was, I didn't have time to think about anything else.
