To Have No Regrets Kelly's POV
like my own sister.
I was driving home at exactly 6 PM when I saw someone familiar sitting in front of a convenience store. She's drinking a canned beer and I don't think she's fine. From my point of view, she has a problem and I don't have the heart to leave her like that because I treat her I stopped the car in front of her and rolled the window.
"Phoebe."
She lifted her face and I saw how sad her eyes were. My forehead creased and I immediately got out of the car. I walked towards her and sat on the empty chair across from her.
"Why are you here alone? Are you okay?"
She stared into my eyes. "Why did you marry my brother even when you know that he was not in love with you years ago?"
I was taken aback. I pressed my lips together as I stared at her face, unable to say anything. She has a problem and it involves her heart.
She laughed without humor and drank her beer. "I'm sorry. That wa
y sensitive of me."
I took a deep breath and sat properly. "Your brother is important to me, Phoebe. I saw him broken and shattered. I was planning to leave that day, finally giving up on my stupid hopeless and one sided love but I saw the darkness surrounding him. He has lost hope and I don't have the heart to leave him that way because I love him."
She sighed and looked down. "Love is complicated."
"Love is mysterious, beautiful and complicated, Phoebe. You don't always get what you want when it comes to love. You'll go through hardships. You'll go through heartaches..."
She suddenly sobbed. "I hate being in love, Kelly. I feel like it's drowning me."
I shook my head. "No, Phoebe. Don't let this ruin you. Love shouldn't ruin you. It isn't love if it does."
She bit her bottom lip and stared at my face. Tears streamed down her face. "I don't know, Kelly. I don't know..."
I held her hand and put the canned beer down. "I'll take you home."
She shook her head. "I don't wanna go home."
"Phoebe..."
"Can I stay with you tonight, Kelly?"
I sighed and nodded. "Okay. Let's go."
I don't wanna force her to go home since I think she doesn't have the courage to talk about this with her family.
I drove silently while constantly glancing at Phoebe. She was looking outside the window as if she's drowned in deep thoughts. When we reached Emily's condominium building, I held Phoebe's hand. She looked at me with a comfortable smile. I gave Phoebe a pair of spare slippers and wore mine. Snow and Emily are in the kitchen, cooking something.

"Mommy!" Snow greeted us when she saw us. Her eyes immediately widened after she saw Phoebe behind me.
I kissed Snow's cheek and she hugged me before she ran towards Phoebe.
"Aunt Phoebe!"
I sat on the stool in front of Emily, who's cooking. She was watching Phoebe who carried Snow and went to the couch after nodding at Emily.
"Why's that kid here?"
I sighed. "Heart problems."Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.
Emily rolled her eyes. "No!"
"You fell in love once either, Emily."
"Twice, actually. Both are Carvers."
I stared at her. "You knew?"

She smirked. "I know everything about them, Kelly. When I saw Klay Carver years after my first love died, I had him investigated."
"Do you think everything would still turn out this way if his mother
t meet my dad?"
She shrugged her shoulders. "Who knows? The only thing I know is he's meant to fall in love with you and since he doesn't have control over his feelings....that love was meant to ruin him."
I bit my bottom lip and glanced at Phoebe. She's talking to Snow and her face is finally full of life again.
"Did she talk to you about Caleb Walter?"
I immediately looked at Emily again. "What did you say?"
Emily turned the stove off and looked at me. "I'm a party girl, Kelly. A colleague of mine saw them hanging out in a bar."
My lips parted. "Are you sure?"
"I saw the photo. My colleagues are gossipers."
I glanced at Phoebe and leaned on the counter as I looked at Emily again. "Emily, I think Caleb is involved
with Sara Foster."
She shot her eyebrow up. "You mean your aunt who looks like you."
I slowly nodded. "Yes. I'm not that sure, but it seems to me that they're hiding that fact. I saw how they looked at each other when she visited Snow in the hospital."
Emily covered her mouth. "Oh my God! You said Sara wasn't involved in your mother's death, right? Do you think their connection was just like me and Klay?"
"Why would you say that?"
"Kelly, I fell in love with Klay Carver and became so blinded by it because he looks exactly like my dead fiance. What if...Caleb likes you because you look like Sara Foster?"
I was lost for words. After a few seconds I shook my head. "No. It's not always like that,"
"What if it's like that?"
I sighed and shook my head. "That's too complicated. I mean...why would Caleb and Sara...I don't know I

can't even think about it. I mean...yes, love has no limits. But...he tried to court me because of that
reason?"
Emily stared at me. "Desperate people do desperate things, Kelly. And that kid over there, I think, likes Caleb Walter."
I stared at her. "It's...too complicated."
"That kid is a swimmer, right? Caleb Walter was a swimming champion. Love starts with admiration and crushes, Kelly. What makes it complicated is that her love interest is in love with someone else."
I bit my bottom lip, unable to say anything again.
"Now, let's talk about you. Why are you keeping the truth from Pierce Anderson?"
I swallowed hard. "W-What truth?"
She sighed. "Kelly, no matter what happened in the past, he deserves to know the truth. It would be more painful to him if he learned about this from other people. What if Klay suddenly reveals this to him? What do you think he would feel?"
I sucked my breath, unable to find an argument to counter her.
"This isn't just about him. Snow is content with having only you as her parent that's why she's not searching for a father. But she's growing up. You have to tell them the truth as soon as possible before it becomes a problem. I'm forcing you now to do this, Kelly, becaus on't want you to regret this later."
