Betrothed To The Mafia Lord

Chapter 94

Chapter 94

Luca’s POV

Once I was done in the bathroom, after taking a shower and freshening up, I made my way out of the

bathroom and into the walk-in closet, and then I dressed in a large sweatshirt and a pair of comfortable

joggers before starting to make my way out of the closet. I pushed the door of the walk-in closet and

was about to pull it close after I stepped out before my eyes landed on a startled looking Sofia who

seemed to have been frozen up in a particular spot.

I pulled the door of the walk-in closet close behind me and leaned against it without taking my eyes off

her and I watched as her lips parted and closed only to open and close once again.

I dragged my eyes over every feature on her face and I was almost drowning in her pretty she looked

even though she was just waking up from long hours of sleep, her eyes were open wide and her blue

eyes was focused on my face, locking with mine and skidding away after a moment to settle on her

feet. I watched as she moved her weight from feet to feet, giving off so much nervous and flustered

energy.

“Did you have a good night’s sleep,Sofia?” I breathed out in a low voice and watched as her eyes

snapped up to settle on my face before she started to nod her head right as she started to reply. “Um,

yes... I did.” She stuttered out a reply, dragging her eyes away from my face and darting it towards to

focus her gaze on her tiny set of pale looking toes.

“And did you feel any more stomach pain throughout the middle of the night?” I started to ask after a

few seconds, as soon as I started to remember what had happened last night after I had gotten home

and was about to make my way straight upstairs to get some much needed rest, only to find her in a

very unexpected position with one of her bodyguards.

“N-no. No more stomach pains.” She replied after a few seconds and I didn’t miss the way her cheeks

started to darken as color flushed into it slowly, her eyes staring intently at her feet.

I had a feeling I knew why she was starting to feel embarrassed about it but decided not to mention it,

to save her from going up in flames due to how hard she was currently blushing.

She started to move her weight from foot to foot and it seemed like she was pressing her tights against

each other, and when she started to stutter a few seconds later, it hit me right in the face immediately. I

nodded towards the bathroom and said in a low voice, staring into her face and holding her gaze

intently. She nodded her head in a grateful way like I had saved her the stress of having to make a

decision by informing me herself that she wanted to go use the bathroom.

I started to make my way out of the bathroom to give her some much needed privacy right before the

door of the bathroom got pushed close after her.

I made my way downstairs, got a cup of coffee into my system and then I got into my office, locking

myself into it and starting to sort out the things I had been working on last week, separating what

needed to be separated and sorting out what needed to be sorted out.

I was on a call with James and we had been msking arrangements on how we were going to meet up,

when I had heard a knock that was way too soft for it to be one of Sarah’s or Matilda’s, and so I invited

the person in without getting off the call with James. She made her way into the office after spending

over two minutes behind the door in what I had quickly figured out to be overthinking her decision to

come to my office.

She was hesitant as fuck and very awkward as she stuttered over her words way too much for her to

make any sense, her face was also appearing really stressed. And so I had gotten off the phone,

dismissing James instantly because I didn’t need anything else to distract me from the bundle of

nervousness standing before me in a red top and jeans which seemed like it was clinging to her thighs

way too tightly.

It was the first time I was seeing her thighs fully covered and not being exposed, and it didn’t help one

bit like I had been thinking it would, instead– when she had turned around and the way her ass which

seemed like it has gotten even perky, stared me in my face and I was mesmerized for a few moments

before getting a hold of myself and ordering her to stop in her tracks and push the door back into place,

when she had pulled it open and was about to make her way out without still speaking about her actual

reason for coming in here in the first place.

And the instant she had frozen up in her tracks after I had ordered her to, it had moved something

which I couldn’t for the life of me, place my fingers on it. It was a really fierce and wild feeling and as

she had turned around without any hesitations the moment I had asked her to, and the lost and

nervous facial expression on her face – it had made me want to get up from my seat and take her into

my arms.

I hated how she was so nervous around me and all I wanted to do at that moment, was to lift her up

into my arms, because after lifting her up last night, I knew she weight next to nothing and it wouldn’t

be hard for me to hold her in my arms, on my thighs as I reassure her that it was all going to be alright,

to stroke the nervousness out of her body until she’d be relaxed enough to fall asleep, right there in my

arms.

That thought hasn’t taken me off guard that way they had done the very first time they had made their

appearance in my head, but that didn’t mean they weren’t usual feelings and emotions I usually feel This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

towards any kind of woman. I placed my hands on the table, ordering her to hold my gaze, which she

did immediately after being told, her eyes fluttering as it settled on mine like I had instructed.

I guided her through breathing in her out before I even knew what I was doing on seeing that she

wasn’t even dragging breaths into her lungs due to how nervous and strung up she currently was, and

the amount of satisfaction watching her do as I instructed, for her own good, left a huge amount of

satisfaction in the deepest part of my heart.

I helped her into getting a little relax compared to how extremely nervous she obviously was after she

had made her way into the office and started to stutter.

She had started to speak after a while, like I had rightfully guessed that she had come into her in the

first place, for a completely different reason. She had started to speak, saying a whole different thing

and certainly not what I had expected her to say.

I had been expecting her to say something about wanting to visit home and see her family, because

from the look of things, it looks like she was sheltered her whole life like I had expected, grew up in a

loving family that showered her with lots of love and kisses on a daily basis, so I had already been

expecting that… because obviously, she wasn’t getting a single form of affection from here after she

had gotten married to me, not even a hug.

I was surprised when she had instead started to speak about painting, and how she’d want to get a lot

of painting stuffs, and how she’d be really grateful if I gave her permission to start the whole thing,

completely taking me off guard because I wasn’t in no way, expecting her to start to speak like that,

sounding really matured that I had ever expected from her.

But then, I had watched her grow a backbone and talk back to the doctor last night when he kept

placing emphasis on the mistake she had done and it had been really nice to watch her stand up for

herself — to think I had at first thought she wouldn’t know how to talk back to someone, or be able to

stand up for herself and to speak her mind when needed. That had honestly been one of tne reason

why I had tried to avoid her as much as I could, immediately after we got married.

I had been looking at her as a little child who still needed tne peotection of her parents and was no fit

for a mafia lord wife, but even without realizing it, that whole mindset which I had about her before, was

starting to slowly change.

It was starting to really change. I mean, how could it not change? Of course it would change.

I mean, kids do not go around looking that hot in the jeans she was currently in, and the crazy way it

was completely outlining the whole parts of her thighs, msking me almost lose the ability to think by just

staring at it.

I gave my permission to her getting into painting and she was super excited, and after a while, she

exited my office. The image of her ass which the dark colored jeans hugged really tightly stared into my

face, right before the door had slammed closed, leaving the image burned into my mind.

“You have a bandage here in your car with you?” I heard James' voice drifting into my ear loudly,

pulling me out of my thoughts and cutting into the train of thought in my mind. I blinked once and

rubbed my hand over my face before turning sideways and staring at James who was looking at me,

obviously still waiting on a reply.

I sat up on my seat and glanced out of the car window, registering the fact that the clouds were really

dark as hell outside, right before I turned my head around and stared back at James who was still

watching me patiently.

“A bandage?” I finally echoed out while staring at James and watched as he lifted his hand up, showing

me the bruised up knuckles and that was when it all hit me, that he had battered his hand while beating

up Ivan and his cousin thoroughly.

“We’d need to clean the injury first, we can’t just get it all bandaged without cleaning it.” I said to him

and reached my finger out to press it against one of the cuts and swell of his hand. He didn’t wince nor

pull his hand away as I pressed down on the particular spot for a few seconds before pulling my hand

away and leaning back into the backrest of my seat.

“Well then, you do have something like a first aid kit here in your car, right?” He started to ask after a

few moments and I snorted before shaking my head.

“Actually, there is a first aid kit at the booth of the car, but it contained stuff for gunshots wounds

treatments, and not for anything as simple as this.” I informed him and watched as he moved in his

seat until he was laying his back against the backrest of the seat once again.

“I guess I’d use one of those, since I obviously cannot use a bandage on it without getting it cleaned

thoroughly.” He started to say and I waited until he was finished before starting to speak.

“You can come home with me, we’d have it cleaned up and dressed up in no time, and then you can

have dinner before leaving.” I informed him and knew he was about to argue about the last part, and so

I started to speak again when he opened his mouth to say something.

“Don’t even think about starting to fish for an excuse, James. You’re coming home with me and having

dinner with me.”
