Chapter 36
“Grandmother is back, I’ve made several meals,” Ava replied, turning around to find him standing there. Come dine with me.”
Grandma came home from the hospital and stayed with them for the night.
Ava recognized her grandma’s mentality and could only follow her and try her best to treat her well while she still had time to appreciate.
“Why didn’t you go in and assist Ava?
“She probably doesn’t want me to go in,” Goden Bran thought bitterly.
His words meant she didn’t want to be alone with him, but her grandmother had heard Ava refused to allow him in to assist.
“Won’t you go in if she says she doesn’t?
Gran grinned, reprimanded him, and pushed him in.
He couldn’t do anything except remain in the kitchen, so he coughed quietly to get her attention.
He stepped in front of her and she’ll ignore him.
He’d never been so neglected or felt so uneasy inside.
‘Ava’
“Can I assist?
“Can you not behave like this?” he questioned again, becoming agitated when she didn’t respond.
Her apathy made him ill at ease.
“You are merely pretending in front of Grandma, there is no need to assist me with anything, just take the dishes out,” Ava Linssaid flatly.
Would he have volunteered to help if grandma hadn’t pushed him?
Impossible!
Ava thought it was a little excessive.
Goden Bran’s mood worsened as he stared at her icy face, but he couldn’t speak.
When she sat opposite him at dinner, she didn’t even glance at him, but smiled at his grandmother, “Everything I prepare today is your favorite,” Goden Bran said.
Try the braised pork chops and tell me whether my cooking abilities have improved.
As she talked, she put a pork chop in Grandma’s dish.
Grandma smiled cheerfully, but her sickly white skin made Ava’s heart ache.
Then she bowed her head and pretended to eat.
Grandma could see what she was thinking.
“The flavor is much better than before, why don’t you offer him a piece?”
Then she dropped her eyes and didn’t look at him, like his granny had suggested.
“Grandmother is old, I can’t wait for your child’s birth, and I can’t watch you two happily together,” Grandma murmured sorrowfully, pulling Ava’s hand and then Goden Bran’s hand.
“Grandma, don’t talk nonsense,” Ava said, her eyes moist with tears. So you can’t see? ”
Ava’s heart ached thinking about her grandma’s condition and her refusal to be treated.
Even after she had divorced Goden Bran, she remained related.
To watch her grandmother go…
Finally, Ava Lins’ dazzling and transparent tears dropped across her lovely face.
“Sweetheart, what are you sobbing for?” Grandma gently wiped away her tears.
“Grandma is elderly and will die.” This is life’s rule. Take death lightly. I don’t want to make you sad.”
“I simply want you two love each other. So you’ll be pleased even if granny dies. Can you grant grandma’s selfish wish? ”
Grandma shook Ava’s hand and said,
“Go on, Grandmother. “Anything I promise.”
“In the future, no matter what he has done, you must give him another opportunity to be by his side,” the grandmother said, sighing.
“Grandmother has only one granddaughter-in-law like you. Even Goden will never find a wife as good as you. Thank you for forgiving him for Grandmother’s sake.”
“Goden was bitter in heart. He doesn’t let me say some things, so please be understanding.”
Ava was speechless when she heard her grandmother’s words.
Didn’t they split up?
Even if she forgave him, he…
She could forgive him for turning the world upside down on other women, but she didn’t have a saint’s heart.
“Are you not willing?
“Grandmother, don’t speak anymore,” Goden Bran replied, his voice low. “Try these foods, they’re chilly.”
After a few minutes of quiet, Ava could only nod and reply, “Alright, Grandma, I promise.” I’ll give him a chance despite his mistakes.”
“Grandma knows you’ll agree,” she said, stroking Ava’s hand on the back.
Goden Bran looked at her in the eyes, puzzled.
Would she forgive him if that day came?
“Will you forgive me, Ava Lins?”
The night wind was chilly.
A cold wind blew through the room’s curtains as Ava packed her things.
It also gave the room a coolness, as if the room knew its owner was about to leave for good…
He sat on the couch, lit up a cigarette, and smoked with a sad heart as he watched her grab what was hers and move about in front of him.
Until she lost everything she owned…
Only the gifts he bought her remained.
Precious dresses, necklaces, and jewelry.
But that year, while he was passing through Paris, he purchased her a cartoon doll and she took it with her.
Goden Bran sucked in a cigarette and put it out in the ashtray.
“Are you really going tomorrow?” he questioned, seeing her finish packing.
“Yes.”
“I’m going on a business trip tomorrow and won’t be returning.” You can stay a few more days, no rush.”
It was too late now, and she was still packing, as if she intended to wait till morning to pick up her bags and leave him alone.
She dropped her eyes and said indifferently, “No need. I’m going in two days. ”
He knew staying another day was torturous for her.
She wished to leave quickly, hoping for a fresh start for both of them.
What kind of life and woman he wanted had nothing to do with her…
She didn’t want to disgrace herself in front of those who would casually wreck her life.
“If you don’t want to leave, you can stay here,” Goden Bran said, walking forward.
“What status do I have to stay here?” Ava asked, mockingly.
“Or will you be kind and give me the house?”
“You don’t belong to me anymore,” she said coldly, looking around the room. What’s the point of a home? ”
Hearing her slight anguish and cries, he longed to hold and soothe her.
But no!
“Up to you,” he could only say.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
That was all for the day. He didn’t return to his room for the entire night.
He liked her, the one who would be furious at him and laugh for him…
She slept on their scarlet wedding bed, staring blankly towards the dungeon, tears streaming down her face…
During that period, she lived in this residence.
Then she returned home without meeting anybody.
He was too busy to accompany her, but he had time to hunt for another woman…
A emotional drama like an extramarital affair might be played by someone cold and dismissive of her so-called emotions.
She was truly the person who trusted him the most in this world. It was just that he did not know, never knew!
Ava Lins would prefer they divorced than have an affair…
