Chapter 8 The Child died in Her Arms
Chapter 8 The Child died in Her Arms
Aleena was sent to the hospital.
After a year of marriage, it was the first time the man held her, but to have an abortion.
Aleena felt her heart dead and her face pale.
The bleeding between her legs gradually stopped, and the pain in her lower abdomen eased.
The doctor had checked on Aleena and said, “Fortunately, the child in the belly is strong and the
pregnant woman had been sent to here in time. The child is safe. Now take the pregnant woman to
take drug to prevent miscarriages, and I will give her some medicine......"
The ‘dead’ heart of Aleena gave a beat and she clenched her fingers.
Spencer’s face was cold and dark. Expressionlessly, he said in a low voice, “Is her child safe?"
The doctor laughed, "Yes, but you should be careful..."
Aleena caught Spencer by the collar and begged him, "This is your child too, Spencer. Please, don't
abort it..."
Spencer did not speak. Rosalie behind him said at this moment, “Spencer, as long as she has induced
abortion, I will forgive her for everything she did to me. After all, we were friends. I don't want to ruin her
innocence..."
Aleena sneered. Why did not she find out Rosalie was so hypocritical before?
If not her sudden bleeding, would Spencer stop that?
And Rosalie wanted her induced abortion and let her watch her child die. This would not only ruin her
life, but also kill her!
After being silent for a while, Spencer finally said in a quiet voice, "She should pay back what she owes
you. Get her to have induced abortion."
The doctor was stunned, “This pregnant woman's child is only four months old. It does not meet the
requirements of induced abortion. The baby will surely die if it is born, and the pregnant woman will
suffer tremendously."
Spencer did not budge, and his tone was still cool and steady. "It doesn't matter, just do it." RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
‘It doesn't matter...’
These words like the most pitiless knives cut into Aleena’s heart and broke all her love and fantasy for
Spencer.
She really didn't want to love him anymore, if she could, she did not want to see him again.
Aleena was finally carried to the birthing bed, where oxytocin was injected into the body and the pain of
contractions soon stroke.
She curled up, clutched her abdomen, and writhed and cried out in pain.
Aleena was tortured by this pain for half an hour, but still there was no sign that the child was to be
born.
The doctor took a look at her condition and left the delivery room helplessly. He said to Spencer outside
the room, "The fetus is too small for natural delivery. If the dosage of oxytocin is increased, it may bring
danger to the pregnant woman's life. Do you want to continue, Mr. Cook?”
The door was not closed. Aleena heard the voices outside, including the words that Spencer followed,
“Go on."
She knew that man would not show mercy on her.
The dosage was increased and she got injected. The abdominal pain doubled. Aleena felt that her
abdomen was about to break for that sharp pain.
She was in great pain for an hour, and finally the fetus in the belly was premature birth.
The baby was extremely small, pink, and, although it had taken the form of a human being, it was not
fully grown at all. Within minutes of being born, it died in the arms of Aleena.
Aleena holding the delicate fragile child shrilly screamed and got fainted.
"Not good! The pregnant woman had postpartum haemorrhage! Get the blood bags!"
The doctor cried out and the delivery room became busy suddenly.
Outside the room, Spencer stood by the door, listening to the chaotic sounds in the delivery room. His
eye were half-drooping and darkened.
"Spencer..." Rosalie took his hand. Her eyes were gentle and clean. She spoke softly, "I have had my
revenge. I will move one. When will you get divorced with Aleena?"
Spencer eyes trembled and he did not speak for a long time.
Rosalie darkened her eyes, loosened Spencer’s hands, bowed her head and said sadly, “If you do not
want to marry me, it is ok. I know I am not good enough for you..."
"No." Spencer rubbed the top of Rosalie's hair. "When she wakes up, I'll divorce her."
