Chapter 41

You’re stupid.

Ray stood by the beach, standing on the white sand, watching her as she run around in the sand with Kenzo. She looked happy, satisfied and content. She was happy without him being there. And he couldn’t stay a day without thinking of her, it’s all because of him. Kenzo!

The bastard, if she truly knows the kind of person he was, she would never be beside him. He would make her realize, that he was all she needed. Not Kenzo. He tried to deny the fact that they looked good together. Kenzo was all down on her, smiling at her stupidly. His gaze was soft. Something he had never seen on his before. Seeing them together only makes him more than angry. She did all that with just him alone. And now, he was no longer in the picture.

She was running into the waters now, but stopped, when her feet was touching the water. She couldn’t go further. Elina was scared of water. Because it was related to her past. She was drowned twice in when she was little. Just the same way they were in the beach now. Her parents and his parents. Having a nice time together. And and they were playing by the water. He could say he made her sink, he didn’t know she couldn’t swim.

He sheered the thoughts away and watch her sprinkling waters on Kenzo. He was supposed to be the one there playing beside her and not him. He should be there now, right beside her.

“What are you doing here?”

He spun his head around to see Kenzo’s men, standing behind him.

“I came here for her, it’s her birthday, I came to wish her a happy birthday.”

“You shouldn’t be there. She doesn’t wanna see you.” Sambas replied.

“How did you know we would be here? Did you follow us?” Aziel asked him. Walking towards him in a threatening way. Ray remain on his stand. Maintaining his facial expression.

“Originally. I was supposed to be here with her we made this plan together. To be there together, until he took that away.”

“No, you did. You pushed her away you dick.” Sambas half yelled, grabbing him by the collar. He was pissed. He so much wanted to deal with him. For hurting her that much. It took a lot of time for her to get back on her feet again. All because of the jerk.

“Let him go. Sambas.”

“He should leave.”

“Ain’t leaving til her see her.”

“You’re such a jerk.”

Sambas countered. Resisting the urge to punch him.

“You can’t make me leave.”

Sambas let go off his collar, he adjusted his shirt and smirked. There’s no way they could hurt him or molest him or any kind he has join forces with Hazard who was most likely most powerful in the gang. There was nothing they could do.

“If you ain’t aware I’m with Hazard now.”

“So What should we do, make it official. A grand opening.” Sambas chuckled.

“Just letting you know.”

“I don’t know how she got to be with someone like you.” He snarled he didn’t try hiding his hate for him. Aziel pulled him back, taking him away from Ray. He knows sambas he could hardly keep his anger in for those he hates. He was ready to punch Ray if he says another word. Sambas left them. He stood a bit far from them. So he doesn’t get to hear what they were saying.

“She’s the the reason I’m like this.” He said to Aziel.

“I came here to see her. Wish her a happy birthday. You should tell her I’m here. That’s your work anyway.”

“You’ve no shame.”

“Not when it’s comes to her.”

He turned his side against him. Focus his gaze back to the two of them playing by the waters. He didn’t see them again. Did they leave?

“What are you doing here Ray?” He felt the shivers when he heard the voice. He turned. Seeing them both standing beside Aziel. Kenzo had the hardest look ever. His gaze was dark and frightening. If he didn’t have someone behind him he won’t dare stand there and look him up in the face or request to see Elina.

“You’re challenging me now ain’t you. You’re one of our enemy. And you shouldn’t be here.” His voice was deep and authoritative. Just like the man that he was.

“I came here for her.”

Kenzo scoffed. And turned to Elina.

“Do you want to see him or not?” Elina looked confused for a bit. There was no doubt in her eyes she wanted to talk to Ray. Which gave him the confidence to smile. There was still part of his Elina in there.

He had to ask her before he thought everything he would do today he had every right to ask to do or go where she pleases.

Else he won’t have given a second thought about it and ask Aziel to dragged his ass out of here. Immediately. He was let in because he was now part of Hazard. He was aware. He knew they were watching them when they left the bar in the morning. Hazard and Ray. What could they be planning? If it wasn’t his death what else would it be?

“Do you want him to stay? You wanna talk to him?” He asked again. Elina parted her lips to answer. He watched her staring at her lips as it parted. She wanted to say something.

She turned and stare at Ray. She wanted to talk to him. Or doesn’t she?

“Answer me Elina. Don’t keep me silent!”

“I-I-I.”

Kenzo’s gaze wasn’t as soft as it was anymore, she was scared he hurt her with the gaze at which he was staring at her.

“I want to talk to him.”

That was what he wanted to hear. Though her expression has said it. He wanted to hear it off her mouth. And she did say it.

Ray smiled. He won. Elina still likes him.

“I want to talk to him because..”

“I don’t care.” He replied her.

“I didn’t know you were this stupid.” He turned to Aziel and they walked away leaving them alone. Elina wipe the tears off her eyes. It was already streaming as he said that.

He watched him. In his sexy ass shorts and white sleeve that was wet and glue to his body.

There was a reason she wanted to talk to Ray. Hope he would understand her.

But it seems like he doesn’t.

She wasn’t stupid was she?Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
