Master of illusion
“Isth hata bentham…..”
Gasp
“Maybe her trick could work on me, but trust me that I will rip your head off if you whisper one more nonsense.” Gama threatened the witch he had been holding onto her neck.
Hundreds of his minions were doing the same thing.
They had chosen a good setting. An empty land that was the location of their scuffle with enemies.
It was the unclaimed boundary that had been turned to battlefield, as it is the space that defined all territories.
After the ancient witch disappeared, she hadn’t been seen, and as the woman had predicted, he hunted down the witches that felt they were invisible.
He searched every corner and choked then out with his unique smoke ability.
They weren’t simple either and put up a good fight.
He lost so many men due to being at a disadvantage.
If he killed any of them, the old witch wouldn’t forgive him and might become a headache.
She doesn’t get involved in demons scuffles but could side with an enemy to fight against him and with her as an opponent, along with demons that he could only beat with his strength, he couldn’t imagine victory as he usually does.
So, instead of killing the stubborn witches, they beat them till they couldn’t open their mouths to cast spells before he brought them to their current spot. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Life was useless without Nimalaya anyway.
Maybe he would have thought twice before he tasted her existence in his life as his woman.
He would never let them be past. He would have her back.
“I will start killing them if you take too long to show your face.” Gama spoke an enhanced voice that echoed through the land as if the air helped him spread his message.
A moment later, a bright golden light could be seen on the ground at a distance, not too far from where they stood.
The old witch’s figure appeared at the spot, and it soon dissipated.
Gama smiled triumphantly.
Seeing that something wasn’t adding up, due to the witch not saying anything, Gama became alerted and as suspected, his men began to fall one after the other, while their witches under his clutches began to escape.
Gama chuckled, and the one he was holding gasped as his claws elongated and pierced into her neck.
She was more important, being a direct descendant of the old witch.
Gama doesn’t care about his men but hates the fact that Nimalaya could be anywhere.
Anything could be happening to her at the moment, and the witch was wasting his precious time.
“If one more man goes down, I will give orders for the same to start happening to your kind. I will motivate them by ripping out the throat of your… was it great, great grand something?” Gama said in a serious tone.
Anyone who knew him wouldn’t take it that he was bluffing.
Kira happened to be among those who knew how mentally unstable the demon was.
She opened her eyes, and the men beside Gama stopped losing consciousness.
Gama’s captive was now looking as pale as a ghost as her blood continued to pump out through the spots his claws were buried into her neck.
“If you kill her, I won’t rest till I see you cease to exist.” The old witch threatened, but Gama only scoffed in return.
“That could happen if she is the only witch left. I will have lots of fun killing them one after the other, Kira.” Gama replied.
Smoke began to surround him and his captive.
Within a few minutes, it dissipated, and the girl he was holding looked completely fine.
Gama was a master of illusion that was accompanied by smoke. The smoke was proof that his power had been activated.
Ancient demons are blessed with befitting affinities to elements.
He was among the lucky ones who got a matching skill to his smoke ability.
He was a very dangerous demon.
A deluded one that thrives to rule over everyone.
Nimalaya was a worse creature, which hadn’t been awoken yet, and being with Gama would only bring forth her dark side.
Kira had helped her to escape their world due to this, despite being aware of the risk so well.
If there was a way to tear Nimalaya from fights and battlefields, she had to do it.
If she gets out of hand, even Gama wouldn’t be able to control her demon.
Quietness ensured.
There weren’t sounds of living creatures around, as the area defines terror. Even the dumbest of creatures had known to stay away from that vicinity.
“I won’t ask you where Nimalaya was and why she went there. Take me there, so I can bring her home.” Gama said, and the witch shook her head.
The archdemon would get involved and apprehend Nimalaya, killing her again.
They don’t care what Gama was doing because it was the demon’s nature to wish to stand out when the ability is there and Gama is one lucky demon.
His traits are almost that of an archdemon due to his bloodline being so powerful, but it is still nothing compared to a real archdemon.
They could get rid of him if they find him as a huge threat.
So far, he wanted power and respect, not the destruction of their realm.
The higher-ups must have considered that normal or whatever that Kira wasn’t sure about, but she knew the face of Nimalaya.
None that existed during her time wouldn’t know that face.
“Let’s have a chat, Gama.” The witch said, and Gama felt his heart kept in joy.
He felt that very soon, Nimalaya would be in his range.
He vanished like a smoke, and then hundreds of demons holding onto the witches had reduced significantly.
Kira just remained silent.
It looked like Gama had used his illusion once more. It was just 10 men standing with 10 captives, but he had used his power to make them appear in hundreds.
One of the tactics that helped him overwhelm his opponents on the battlefield.
The annoying thing was how no one was immune to his illusion.
He was a cruel man, and you wouldn’t wanna risk believing that he didn’t do what your eyes could see.
It was even rumoured that the trait of the archdemon he possessed were all illusions until he had dived in between enemies and sliced them with his wings that they assumed to be fake
In a blink of an eye, Gama stood in front of the witch who was already whispering some words, and they both vanished from the spot.
