CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 1286

"Yes, now that Orion has a new friend, we might even have more time for ourselves," Nash said, his fingers tracing up Nina's hand in a way that was both warm and ticklish. Nina's cheeks flushed, and she gently pushed him away. "Stop that. The kids are right outside. What if they hear us? It'd be so embarrassing."

She knew Orion was clever too clever. If he overheard anything, she would be mortified and wouldn't even know how to explain.

"The hotel's got great soundproofing," Nash replied with a playful grin. "And the TV's on, too. But if you're worried, I can just turn it up a little more."

Before Nina could protest, he grabbed the remote and nudged the volume up a few notches. He rolled over and kissed her, and under his touch, Nina quickly melted.

They stayed entwined until the early hours, finally breaking apart, thoroughly exhausted. Nina turned off the TV, lying on the bed, feeling too drained to move. She wanted to wash away the lingering heat, but exhaustion kept her still. Nash, however, had other ideas. He went into the bathroom to draw a warm bath, then gently lifted her and placed her in the soothing water. Instantly, she felt every inch of her body relax, tension dissolving in the warmth. "Nina," Nash called softly, his voice laced with that familiar allure, "Mind if I join you?"

For a moment, she almost agreed. Then, with a sudden surge of practicality, she shook her head and refused, "Absolutely not. We're taking the kids to the amusement park tomorrow. I'm not going through another round tonight!" Nash's smile deepened, clearly amused. "Alright, alright. Finish up, I'll be waiting outside." He didn't want to put Nina through any more tonight, either.

By the time she was finished with her bath, wrapped in a towel and sitting in front of the mirror, Nash had grabbed the hairdryer and

something out of a painting.

Meanwhile, just a room away, Hope clung to her blanket, inching closer to Orion and grabbing his sleeve from under the covers. "Orion, I'm scared that one day I'll wake up and you'll all be gone," she whispered.

"That won't happen," he replied, turning to her and patting her back, mimicking how their mom would soothe him. "I'm here, and so are Mom and Dad. We're not going anywhere."

That night, they all slept soundly, except for Hope. She woke up twice from nightmares, glancing over at Orion in the dark. She really did like having him as her brother, but... Before she could finish her thought, sleep took over once more, and she drifted off again.

The next morning, dressed and ready, Nina opened the door to wake them.

"Good morning, Mom and Dad," Orion mumbled, rubbing his sleepy eyes and letting out a big yawn as he sat up.

Hope was still asleep beside him. He gently shook her shoulder. "Wake up, we're going to the amusement park today."

At the mention of the amusement park, she shot up. "Amusement park? I'm getting ready now!"

The two kids sprang into action, getting dressed in record time. Once ready, they joined Nina and Nash in heading down to the hotel's buffet on the first floor.

The breakfast spread was a feast for the senses, with an array of delicious options to choose from, everything from classic American breakfast dishes to international favorites.
