Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 1334

Upon hearing Sydney finally speak those words, Theodore smiled. "You've been holding it in for so long, and now you've finally said it." Seeing Theodore's calm expression, Sydney immediately realized something.

"You've known all along. That wasn't easy, was it? You have a son outside, and all these years, you must have missed him terribly, right?"

"Theo, listen to me. When I gave birth to Sebastian, Geoffrey took him away. I thought the child was dead, but a year ago, Geoffrey told me that Sebastian was my son. I was unaware all these years."

Sydney held Theodore's hand tightly.

Theodore shook her hand off. "Mom, now that you know, do you feel guilty? Your biological son grew up without you, so you're doing everything to make it up to him, even trying to match him with Rose. Now I finally understand why you acted so out of character. It turns out he's your son."

When Theodore said this, he smiled bitterly.

"You... How did you know?" Sydney asked, shocked.

"So you admit it now. You intentionally caused trouble, sabotaging my relationship with Rose again and again, all for your eldest son?"

"Theo, listen to me. I was doing it for your sake. I thought you and Rose had been entangled for too long, and it would be better if you two parted ways, so..."

"Who are you to decide what's good or bad for me?" Theodore suddenly shouted at her. "You've been treating me like a fool, and you still think you're in the right? Standing on your moral high ground, thinking you know what's best for me. What good have you done for me? Have I been happier? No, all you've brought me is pain. So don't tell me you were doing this for my sake. It disgusts me!"

His biological mother had deceived him like this. Having an illegitimate son was bad enough, but it had to be Sebastian.

Sebastian was his sworn enemy, someone who wanted to kill him. Yet, his own mother was defending him.

Life was truly laughable.

"Theo..." Sydney sobbed

uncontrollably. "I'm sorry. I know I was wrong never wanted things to turn out this way. I've suffered a lot too. Theo, you're my biological son, so how could I ever harm you?¶ never wanted to hurt you. But as a mother, my hands are tied. I don't have a choice. I didn't know how to handle you and Sebastian's relationship. I'm sorry."

"Stop saying sorry. I don't want some cheap apology! The more guilty you feel, the more you're biased toward Sebastian. I'm even starting to doubt that I'm your biological son."

"Theo, you're my flesh and blood," Sydney hurriedly said. "I love you too."noveldrama

"Don't talk to me about love. You love Sebastian more and you feel guilty toward him. You can continue to side with him then!"

Before, Rosalie had sided with Sebastian, but now, she had finally seen through him. Before he could catch a breath, he discovered that Sydney had always sided with Sebastian.

Theodore felt like his life was nothing but a joke, one controlled by others.

"Mom, rest well. I have nothing left to say to you." Theodore turned and walked away.

"Theo, wait!"

Sydney tried to get up from the bed to catch up, but her steps were unsteady, and she fell to the ground with a thud.

"Theo!"

Theodore stopped at the door,

turning to glance at her. He wanted to help her but remembering the deception his mother had subjected him to he clenched his fists, said nothing, and walked away with a heavy heart.

The bodyguards immediately entered to help Sydney up from the floor.

"Theo! Theo!" Sydney kept calling out, but Theodore's footsteps only grew fainter and fainter until they disappeared completely.
