Chapter 111
“Well, I’m not exactly who you think I am.” Pamela started.
“I know who you are.” Ace interjected.
Pamela continued. “I’ve been hanging out with the Vet MC for research.”
“Because you’re an author.” Ace interrupted.
“I had a new book idea, wait what? You know?” Pamela asked puzzled.
“Jax told my dad the whole story. Besides, we had you investigated anyway. While we don’t do illegal things, we still are very selective of who we allow around our club.” Ace explained.
“So, you’ve known this whole time who I really was?” Pamela asked.
“Of course.” Ace replied.
“And you still want me here? The club is ok with what I do?” She asked.
“Yes, and yes. As long as you know you can never write about the real club life here or mention any of our members by name in any book.” Ace warned.
“I would never.” Pamela reassured him.
“Good. Now that is settled, I’m still waiting for an answer.” Ace remarked.
“I’d still have to go to the Vet MC to talk with the ladies. Raine, Kim, and Sam are telling their stories.” She explained.
“That shouldn’t be a problem.” Ace replied.
“And before you ask, I’m only writing about the romance part and names are changed. Nothing about real club business. Everything I write is purely made up. After all you have to have some drama and bad boy stuff to spice up the reading and keep the readers entertained.” Pamela explained.
“I have one question.” Ace replied.
“Just one?” Pamela asked.
“For now. The uh sex scenes in your books, are those from experience?” Ace asked.
“You read my books?” Pamela asked in disbelief.
Ace looked away. “I wanted to know more about your style of writing. But don’t change the subject.”
“Some was personal. But the majority was from reading other romance novels and talking to other women. I’ve been reading erotica since I was 15.” Pamela explained.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
Ace grinned. “What do you think about acting a few of the scenes out?”
“I’m good with that.” Pamela whispered.
They acted out several of the past scenes he’d read. Then Ace helped her pack up and move into his room. Luckily all the furniture in the local apartment she had rented had come with the apartment. So, she mainly had clothing and toiletry items.
She’d brought the bare minimum with her. Her prized possessions were locked up in a storage facility due to all her traveling for research. Everyone in the club finally learned about Pamela being an author. The girls were excited.
The guys didn’t act like they cared. They didn’t let anyone outside the MC know in the local area and Pamela never posted her whereabouts for privacy reasons. The first MC romance is due to be released next week.
“I am so honored that you picked me and Jax as your first book! I can’t wait to read it and see how it does.” Raine exclaimed.
“Well, your story was the story to start it all.” Pamela explained.
“I can’t believe you wouldn’t let us read your copy!” Kim huffed.
“Yeah, what the hell Raine?” Sam retorted.
“Sorry but it was the rule. When each of your stories come out, you’ll get the same privilege I got!” Raine explained.
“Don’t worry ladies. I have each of you a copy reserved that will be delivered here at 12:01am the day of release!” Pamela replied. “So technically you’ll get your copies before the general public does when the book stores open.” The ladies cheered.
“So how long before mine will publish?” Kim asked.
“My agent wants to see how well this one does before moving forward with the series. Right now, she went ahead and sent it to the editing process. Not that they will change the story, just spell and grammar checks.” Pamela explained.
“That way if this one does well, we’ll be ready to start promoting the next one and ready for production. But that time does take a while. However, you’ll get your copy to approve as soon as the editing is done.” Pamela replied.
“I’ve talked it over with the guys and we’ve decided to share our story also.” Sam replied.
“Awesome! I had hoped you would. I have to admit my first threesome makes me nervous that I can do it justice. But I am excited to try!” Pamela explained.
