8 Chapter
“We’re here,” Ethan informed everyone as they pulled up to the club.
“Oh, yeah, it’s going to be a hot night tonight,” the guys began to say as they got out of Ethan’s car.
“Are you ready, Ethan?” George asked him, pulling his hair.
“Stop it, George, I’m not a little kid.”
“Well, that’s it, don’t get mad. You’re so funny when you’re mad,” George answered him, and they all started walking towards the entrance together.
“Guys, are we all gluing one together today or does everyone choose for themselves?” – Michael asked them.
“I don’t really care, now we have a new guy in this business, whatever he says we’ll do,” Kevin answered, looking at Ethan.
“Guys, I think we should just go inside first, order a VIP lounge, and then think about everything else.”
“He’s right,” George confirmed Ethan’s words.
“Then, let’s go,” Michael said and they stood at the entrance to pass the face control. The Queens is one of the most expensive nightclubs in Manhattan. A club for the true kings. The kids of celebrities, the elite, and sometimes just people who can afford it all relax and hang out here. After all, if you come to this club, you should know that you should have less than fifteen thousand dollars just to be ashamed of yourself. The entrance alone costs a thousand dollars. Face – control pass only those who show the contents of his purse at the entrance. Regular visitors show their VIP card. Our guys have such a card.
– Your pass,” the man asked, with a menacing look at the entrance.
“Here,” George held out as he showed him his VIP card.
“What about your friends? “the big man asked, looking at Ethan, Michael, and Kevin.
“Is there nothing to tell you about our appearance? Or do you want to see the contents of our pockets right away?” Ethan asked grudgingly.
“If I still see these three sometimes, I’ve never seen you guys in our club at all.”
“That’s because I just got here today.”
“Don’t get excited, Ethan,” George tried to reassure him.
“Here, look at the contents of my pockets. Maybe I should strip down to my underwear.” Ethan shouted, as he was already intoxicated and not quite aware of what was happening.
– Man, you’re about to get into a lot of trouble,” the security guard said to Ethan.
“Nick, calm down. Me and him together, he didn’t mean to be rude to you. He won’t do it again,” Kevin turned to him, trying to calm him down when he saw that he was already trying to stretch his arms and give Ethan a good punch.
“Okay,” Nick agreed and let them into the club.
“You’re really something, Ethan,” his friends started scolding him.
“What did he think I was going to do, keep quiet?”
“Ethan, he’s three times your size and strength.”
” So what? I’m not afraid of him,” Ethan answered, and the receptionist had already approached them.
“Hello, the usual?” The girl with blond hair and a very appetizing figure asked, her name tag said Liv.
” Liv, you are charming as always,” Kevin complimented her.
“Thank you,” she said.
“Is our VIP room taken?” George asked, running a few strands of her hair through his fingers and stepping closer to her.
“Sure, it’s right over there,” she replied and pointed her hand toward it.
“Baby, I’m glad to see you,” he answered her, and slapped her on the butt.
“Are you a frequent visitor here?”
” Not often, but sometimes,” Kevin replied to Ethan and they all walked together to their VIP room.
——
“It’s not loud,” Ethan said indignantly, covering his ears with his hands.
” It’s not loud yet, especially since you and I have already left the dance floor,” Michael replied.
“Yes, he’s right, George confirmed his words.”
“Why is it so loud in my ears, that my head is ready to explode at any moment?”
“Ethan, maybe it’s because you’re too drunk and you’re hypersensitive.” his friends teased him.
“I don’t think so. I’m a tough nut,” Ethan started to say, trying to sit down on the couch, but he sat down past him, hitting the floor painfully with his heel.
“Ouch, that doesn’t feel good,” he complained to the guys about his fall.
“You said you were a hard nut to crack,” they laughed at him.
“I’m all right,” he said when he got up.
“So what are we going to do with you now?” Kevin asked the others.
“I suggest another drink,” Michael answered immediately.
“We’ll drink, and I think Ethan’s had enough,” George decided as he poured the wine into his friends’ glasses, which were on the table for all the guests in this VIP room.
“What shall we drink to?” Kevin asked.
“To having a good time with your best friends,” Michael replied.
“And it’s true,” George replied, and they raised their glasses.
“Guys, I feel really dizzy,” Ethan said.
“No wonder, considering the amount of liquor you’ve been drinking,” Michael replied.
” I feel sick,” Ethan continued to complain about how he felt. But they didn’t want to take his words seriously until Ethan passed out.
” Weak friend, so he fell asleep before his time,” George began to say.
“Of course, considering the fact that while he was kissing our little new whore, you slipped sleeping pills in his glass. Why would you do that? What if he’s intolerant and he gets worse? “Kevin asked him.
“So you all saw it? I was sure you didn’t notice anything, since you didn’t interrogate me or express your displeasure about it.”
“We were curious to see how this was going to end,” Michael replied.
“So what did you do it for, George?” Kevin asked him again.
“I did it because Ethan’s too right, and he might ruin our fun with it,” George replied, punching Ethan in the face to be sure.
“So what’s next? ” Michael asked him.
“It’s the same old pattern from here on out.”
“What about what to do with Ethan?”
“He needs to be sent home, and we’ll drop his car off at his house tomorrow.”
“Okay,” Kevin and Michael agreed. They started to lift Ethan up and lead him out of the club. Good thing no one suspected anything, they just thought the guy had had too much to drink. At the bus stop outside the club they saw a cab.NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.
“Are you free?” Kevin asked the cabbie.
“Yes,” he said.
“Will you please take our friend home, he hasn’t had too much to drink,” said Michael.
“Take him home and put him to sleep on his crib,” George said as he gave the cab driver the keys to Ethan’s apartment.
“You’re his friends, why wouldn’t you want to do that?” The cabbie asked.
“What’s your name kid?” George turned to him.
“Barney,” the guy replied.
“Well, Barney. It’s none of your business. We’ll pay you so much money now, you owe it to us to lick his heels, but we won’t ask you to do it,” George answered, handing him the key, and throwing a thousand dollars in his face, which had fallen on the road.
“Pick up and drive our friend,” Ethan’s “best friends” said one last time and sat him in the back seat.
“Okay,” Barney agreed, getting into his car and driving away.
“That’s it,” they rejoiced.
“What if he decides to rob him?” Kevin started to worry about Ethan.
” Nothing will happen to him,” George answered, and they walked back to the club.
