Chapter 6
Chapter 6
“Astrid, or should I call you Oli?" Blaze lifted her chin. Their gazes locked. That was the face he had been dreaming of these days. They were divorced, but why couldn't he forget her?
"What's wrong with you?” Astrid felt something different and quickly pushed his hand away.
"You are now my ex-husband. Don't touch me."
Blaze was a little taken aback by those words and Astrid took the opportunity to push him away as she took a few steps back.
She glared at him with a red face.
Seeing her trying to keep her distance, Blaze sneered. "It seems you are a different person now. But | remembered you were quite cooperative that night."
Astrid didn't expect Blaze to mention what happened that night. She was rendered speechless.
Back then, she loved him, but now she didn't and couldn't. So, she snapped, "You also enjoyed it, didn't you?” With that, she walked to the sofa and sat down.
Blaze smiled but his gaze fell on Astrid’s legs. "Your legs are fine. When did you recover?"
Astrid was confused as to why Blaze suddenly noticed her legs. He never cared about her before. "That night we became divorced. | wanted to share with you the great news but you gave me one first."
Hearing her answer, Blaze was taken aback. "I'm sorry."
He didn't know it. He was sick of Althea's endless complaints that night and got drunk. When he left the hotel, there was only one thing left in his mind to get a divorce.
Astrid saw Blaze was deep in thought. She didn't know what he was thinking of this time, but he was not easy to mess with, so she glanced at the door from the corner of her eye. She didn't mean to offend him, so she'd better run away.
“Blaze, we have already divorced. Let's forget the past. | will pretend nothing happened between us."
Astrid stood up and walked towards the door.
With a beep sound, the self-defense system of the presidential suite was suddenly activated.
The whole room seemed to be protected by a layer of defense.
"Damn it. He came prepared,’ she cursed inwardly.
Blaze was alert by the noise and regained his composure. That was when he saw Astrid about to flee. He was amused by her behavior and walked toward her leisurely. He had a confident look on his face. It was as if he was staring at his prey.
Astrid leaned against the door and watched him approach her.
He wore a dark blue suit, looking decent and attractive at the same time. She had to admit that Blaze had a perfect figure.
"What is it that you're going to pretend it never happened?" Blaze walked up to Astrid and cornered her at the door again.
They were so close that they could even feel each other's breaths. The atmosphere suddenly became a little intimate.
"What exactly do you want?" Astrid pressed against his chest with her hands preventing him from getting closer.
Blaze looked into her beautiful eyes and suddenly wanted to have some fun with her. "No one can ever get away after taking advantage of me."
"| apologize if | did something that made you unhappy.” Astrid took the joke seriously and thought she had angered Blaze.
In Cheston City, everyone was afraid of Blaze. Astrid wasn't stupid. She knew she was at a disadvantage if she confronted Blaze now.
“You're apologizing? It's too late," Blaze said in a casual tone.
"Then what do you want?” Astrid tried to act tough.
"What? Are you afraid?" A wicked smile appeared on Blaze's face.
“We're divorced, Blaze. Don't go too far.”
Blaze originally planned to let Astrid go, but he changed his mind when his eyes landed on her red lips. She was astonishing tonight.
"Blaze, don't mess with me, or I'm going to have to do something rude..."
Before Astrid finished her words, Blaze shut her up with a passionate kiss, which almost drowned her.
He pinned her wrists on top of her head with a hand and rubbed her chin with the other.
Astrid immediately felt her legs go weak and gasped for air.
A while later, Blaze stopped and panted as he looked into her eyes. "Really?"
His breath landed on her face, domineering and arrogant. Astrid could see the strong desire in his eyes now.
“Blaze, we can't...” Astrid felt her body tremble under his touch. Her lips opened, red and swollen, like ripe cherries. Blaze couldn't hold it anymore and kissed her again.
"Blaze, are you in there? | have something important to tell you." Suddenly, Althea's voice sounded outside the door. She sounded like she had something urgent to tell Blaze.
“Just let me go." Astrid realized what they were doing and immediately pushed Blaze away. From NôvelDrama.Org.
Blaze's face darkened after he was interrupted. He reluctantly let Astrid go. Seeing her lovely appearance, he could only try his best to calm himself down.
“Astrid, the game isn't over yet."
He calmly adjusted his clothes before turning around and going out.
Outside the door, Astrid didn't know what Althea had said, but Blaze left with her.
