Chapter 1172: Not thinking about it (3).
Savanna picked up a diamond ring and handed it to Nico, jumping forward, “Brother, I found this ring for you!”.
The ring, which Savanna had lost when she accidentally bumped into Nico the last time she was in the small attic.
Savanna went to the grass in the back and searched for it many times, but each time in vain.
Today she returned over the weekend, undeterred, and found it by the gutter, “Brother, you don’t know how exciting it was, when I found this ring, which had almost been washed down the gutter never to return, but I hurried to retrieve it.”
Nico was silent, emotionless, just staring at the ring.
Savanna took Nico’s hand and slid the diamond ring into his palm, smiling and reassuring, “If I can get this diamond ring back, I’m sure I can get my sister-in-law back too. Come on, brother.”
Nico looked at the diamond ring resting quietly in her palm, smiled faintly and hopelessly, and said, “Savanna, I have signed the divorce papers and have decided to divorce your sister-in-law. From now on, Micaela is not your sister-in-law either.”
“Why? Brother, you thought Miss Micaela was dead before, but now you know she’s alive, so why give up? Even if Miss Micaela can’t forgive you now, but what about next year, and the year after that, and the year after that? She will forgive you someday.”
“She won’t. She is too tired, and my constant presence in front of her will only remind her of all the sad things she used to do. I don’t want her to add to her burden, and this time, I won’t force her to do what she wants, so I’ll do what she wants.”
Nico handed the ring to Savanna and said, “It’s useless to get it back, so it’s a treat for the eyes.
With that, Nico headed for the house.
Savanna cupped her diamond ring and said loudly and deliberately behind Nico, “So I’m selling it?”
Nico didn’t turn around, much less say anything to stop him.
Like acquiescence.
Savanna bit her lip and looked at the diamond ring with a bit of a headache, “And you really don’t want it?”.
She decided to return the diamond ring to its rightful owner.NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.
…
Eleven o’clock at night, old abandoned chemical factory on the outskirts of the city.
Kemena, dressed in black and wearing a black baseball cap, gets out of the car with a safe in her hand, watching for footsteps as she walks quickly towards the old chemical plant.
The other man, a strong, tall, powerful man, already with his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket, stood waiting very early.
“Miss Matamoros, you’re finally here, I thought you were going to miss your appointment, I was thinking that if you didn’t show up in another hour I would go see the president of the Amengual Group. ”
“Don’t threaten me! If Nico finds out about this, do you think you’ll be able to eat your words?”
Kemena threw the safe at the man, annoyed, “Take this money and get the hell out of here!”
The man caught the safe, turned his back to her and placed it on the old operating table, ready to open it and check the money inside.
Kemena got a knife in his hand and stabbed the man in the back!
The man screamed in agony and struggled hard, fighting with Kemena.
“You stinking bitch! How dare you count me out!”
The man grabs Kemena’s arm and goes for the knife in his hand, which Kemena holds and stabs him again in the shoulder.
The men grab Kemena and drop her to the ground, tangled and struggling desperately.
At that moment, Campoverde quickly burst in with some bodyguards and dragged Kemena away from the man struggling with her.
Kemena’s eyes trembled as she looked menacingly at the man, “You joined Nico’s people to set me up?”.
The man had been stabbed twice and knocked unconscious.
Campoverde gave the order, “Now take this man to the hospital immediately, he has to be alive, no one can answer to Mr. Nico if he dies. ”
Kemena was escorted by two bodyguards and struggled, saying angrily, “Let go of me!”.
Campoverde looked at her condescendingly, expressionless: “If you have something to say, you better go explain in front of Mr. Nico!”.
“I have nothing to explain!”
Campoverde picked up a tape recorder and played back the conversation between Kemena and the man, saying, “Mr. Nico should be interested to know exactly what deal you had with that thug that might be related to Mr. Nico. ”
Kemena’s face instantly became bloodshot and pale, and extreme fear crossed his eyes.
…
Campoverde escorted Kemena to Nico and reported, “The thug received two stab wounds and is still in the operating room for resuscitation.”
Campoverde handed Nico the tape recorder, “These are all the conversations Kemena had with the thug, conversations that seemed to have to do with Mr. Nico. ”
Nico listened to it all again and then, with a cold, sharp stare, examined Kemena and asked, “What exactly is the deal between you and that thug about me?”
Kemena pursed her lips, not intending to speak.
Nico was in no hurry and indicated to Campoverde, “Somebody get the raffle wheel.”
“Yes.”
A few minutes later, Kemena was strapped to the big carousel on all fours. Campoverde spun the carousel and Nico was standing ten yards away, holding a dart that was pure metal with a sharp, shiny, glittering head, the thing could leave a hole in a person’s body with a casual shot.
Not to mention professional level dart players like Nico.
This dart, in his hands, could hit a hundred times with a casual throw without any effort, and this dart would never hit him in the nose even if it wanted to hit him in the eye.
Kemena was tied to the large turnbuckle, trembling as she looked at the dart Nico was holding.
“What do you want…!” Kemena looked at the sharp shuriken in Nico’s hand with a flushed expression.
The man’s long fingers gently rubbed the tip of the dart, firing several test shots on the spot to make Kemena’s lips quiver in fear.
“You can remain silent, but from now on I’ll give you half an hour, and every minute I’ll shoot a dart at you, I can’t guarantee where it will hit you.”
This man, he’s the devil!
Swish!
The silver dart, quick and sharp, shot through the air in an almost straight arc, hitting Kemena with force and certainty right where his ear was.
By half a hair’s breadth, the dart had struck her ear.
Kemena went to look at the dart in her ear out of the corner of her eye and pissed herself in fear.
Campoverde coughed awkwardly, frowned and said, “I advise you to tell me as soon as possible, Mr. Nico is a great shot and the next minute the dart will hit one of your organs.”
Swish!
Another dart!
A precise shot half a millimeter from Kemena’s head.
Kemena lost control and shouted, “Nico! You’re breaking the law! You are suspected of kidnapping and intentional injury.”
“Is that so? Then I wouldn’t sit in this office, or else how would I feel aggrieved.”
Nico fiddled with a dart in his hand, his dark eyes held a smile as cold as Shura’s, a smile that was cold to the bone.
The next second, the dart shot Kemena in the wrist.
“Ah!”
A grunt of pain.
The shuriken, lodged in the bloody flesh of Kemena’s wrist, penetrated the flesh seven times, piercing almost the entire wrist.
The scene is bloody.
Not even Campoverde expected Nico to actually fire the dart at Kemena.
Nico’s grim, emotionless environment was clearly hostile to the extreme, with no regard for life.
If this Kemena doesn’t tell the truth, I’m afraid this dart will really kill Kemena in the next moment.
Nico, she has lost her patience.
