Devoted Love, Mr. Hayes’ Darling Wife

Chapter 1193: The silent rejoicing (2)

One day, Nico takes Micaela to a chess room for fun and relaxation.

Micaela is at home recovering and has postponed all her work, and Nico stays home to mold, except to exercise with her.

The Adam family, the Esteban family and Mateo, the perpetual bachelor.

Rabago’s is on a date with his girlfriend and doesn’t play with them.

The family-type card game.

In other words, women play with women and men play with men.

Estrella and Dulcina haven’t played many board games and the kids are young and don’t know much about the rules.

Micaela took them for two hours to play board games.

When the adults got tired of playing, Paulita slapped the table and said, “More! Lucius, brother Taurus! Shall we play one more game together?”

Despite their young age, the two boys have a lot of energy and brains.

Lucio said, “Just play, don’t cry if you lose, sister!”

Paulita growled, “I’m not going to cry, I’m seven and you’re three, you can’t play with me.”

Taurus: “Miss Paula is a crybaby, Mr. Lucio. Lucio, let’s give in to Miss Paula, otherwise, if we make Miss Paula cry, Uncle Adam will have to come and hit us!”

Lucio: “Ok, ok, come on, I’ll think about it and leave it to you”.

Paulita: “I don’t want you to give up on me! I can win because I’m good!”

The children were saying one thing or another, causing their aunts and mothers to laugh at the adults watching nearby.

The conversation immediately shifted to the children.

Dulcina overheard, “Micaela, when are you going to have a baby with Mr. Nico for fun?”

Micaela was slightly stunned, not expecting the subject to come up suddenly, and didn’t think of a good answer for a while.

Neither Dulcina nor Estrella knew much about her.

Micaela doesn’t know where to start explaining it.

Suddenly, Nico came over from the other side of the poker table and said to Micaela, “Sit next to me, I always lose when I get distracted if you don’t sit next to me.”

Micaela got up, greeted Dulcina and Estrella and sat down next to Nico.

Micaela’s routine is that of an old person and she is sleepy just before 10 o’clock at night.

Leaning on Nico’s shoulder, she fell asleep.

Nico threw his cards away and said, “No more games, go home to sleep.”

Matthew pushed his cards away and complained, “Why, it’s no fun, you’re almost a slave to the wife now!”.

Nico added, “I’m supposed to be a slave wife.”

And then, with a frail Micaelaadormilada in his arms, he left the private room immediately.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

When we got to the car, Micaela sobered, a little confused, “Why don’t we fight?”.

Nico leaned over to her, buckled her in and kissed her, “I can’t play poker when you’re sitting next to me snoozing like this.”

“I play my nap, you play your cards, no delay.”

“Wife sleeping is a big deal, playing cards is nothing. Go on, go home and sleep.”

Micaela noticed the bandit look on his clean face, reached out to shake his hand, stared at him, and asked, “Why did you ask me to sit next to you?”

“If I don’t ask you to sit next to me, Dulcina, who has no eyes, is going to ask how many children we are going to have. Next time I won’t bring you to a party like this, wives have nothing in common with you. Estrella and Dulcina know nothing about directing a movie. ”

Micaela looked at him and let out a soft laugh.

He was always the one who understood her best.

Even if she didn’t say so, he understood.

Just as he had called motionless to sit next to her tonight, the tenderness he felt for her, silent and private only to her, was just and not for the world to see.

In fact, it’s more fun to sit next to her and snooze, read a book or watch a movie at home than to chat about family matters with the wives.

Nico was about to start the car when Micaela said, “Wait.”

“Hmm?”

Micaela unbuckled her seat belt and leaned into him, hugging him tightly by the neck.

A little dazed, Nico slipped his arm around her back, stroked her lightly and asked with a smile, “What’s wrong with you, Micaela?”

“Nico, it’s good to have you in this boring, meaningless life.”

“Did you just realize?” Nico reached up and tapped her forehead, smiling wickedly, “I’m much more interesting than those wives. I don’t want to take you to those parties anymore, wives are always talking about kids, children, nothing new, from now on you can talk to me alone about whatever you want, I’m always more interesting than them.”

Micaela smiled touched, her eyes full of him, and she said with affection on his arm, “It’s natural, Nico is certainly much more interesting than the wives, and it’s better to talk about subjects like Freud with Mr. Nico. ”

Nico stroked Micaela’s long hair and caressed her, “I was at the poker table, listening to your side of the table the whole time. When you said Estrella was Lady Macbeth during the board game, Dulcina rightly contradicted you, saying Estrella was Mrs. Even Paulita knew Lady Macbeth was an accomplice and asked Estrella to stop helping her, but Dulcina didn’t know that. If she goes home tonight and looks up what Lady Macbeth is, will she sleep through the night reading Shakespeare to her heart’s content? How did Esteban get such a heartless daughter-in-law?”

“Maybe it’s because Dulcina is not gloomy and is always optimistic.”

Nico raised an eyebrow and dismissed it, “I find my Micaela more and more interesting than those ungrateful wives. Pretty, intelligent and transparent… Did she fall out of the sky? I’ll see.”

Nico cupped his chin, looked left and right, and finally kissed her hard on her red lips with an insatiable low sigh, “She’s only found in heaven.”

Micaela giggled and twisted the muscles at her waist, “Got enough skin?”.

“Eighteen-year-old senior citizen. ” Nico started the car.

Micaela smiled and nodded, “Well, to the teenage death.”

When the car pulled into the yard, Nico opened the passenger door and, half crouching, stepped in front of Micaela, tapping her on the shoulder, “Ma’am, get in.”

In the days following the wedding, Micaela was carried by Nico or carried on her back, and only a handful of times did her feet touch the ground.

Micaela takes the hint and throws herself over her shoulder.

Nico carried her on his back and howled, “Take your wife home!”.

Micaela wrapped her arms around his neck, looked up at the night sky, patted him on the shoulder and said, “Nico, look up, the moon is very full tonight.”

Nico joked, “On the night of a full moon, I should turn into a wolf and make love to my Stepford wife.”

“Impertinent!”

“Get in the house and get married!”

Nico runs home with Micaela in tow.

Micaela hugged him tightly by the neck, with a beaming smile.

Micaela forgot to mention that Nico has a teenage gangster streak that will keep her hooked for life.

Talking to people who don’t know how to say three is too much.

Talking to people who know how to say it, saying 3. 000 sentences, doesn’t seem enough.

The floating world, the sunrise, the moon, is not as interesting as this bandit and rogue in front of us.
