Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan)

Chapter 2174

Chapter 2174

Gabriel chuckled lowly, "Unwind?"

Sylvia hesitated for a moment before correcting, "Relax."

"How so?" the man inquired.

Sylvia's voice was sultry, "How did I help you relax before?"

Gabriel turned around, looking down at her with an imposing air, "Starting to ask for payback now?"

She gazed up at him, her eyes sparkling with charm, and shook her head gently, "What you've given me, I can never repay in this lifetime."

Gabriel smirked, "Who told me at The Citadel they were all squared away?"

Lifting an eyebrow playfully, Sylvia remarked, "Drunk words shouldn't be taken seriously, and neither should post-event words."

Gabriel wrapped an arm around her waist, "So at that time, you were out of it?"

Sylvia leaned her slender waist forward, arching her back, a faint blush on her ears, and said uncertainly, "Are you joking?"

Realizing his words might have been a bit too much, Gabriel said calmly, "You haven't told me how you're going to help me relax?"

Locking eyes with him, Sylvia proposed, "How about we start with a bath? After the bath, I'll teach you slowly."

Gabriel raised an eyebrow, "Together?"

"Of course!"

His arm tightened around her waist, and Sylvia, seizing the moment, wrapped her arms around his shoulders and jumped up, her soft body lightly sitting in the crook of his arm.

Carrying her with a steady gait, he headed towards the bedroom.

Sylvia rested her head against his shoulder, glancing back, the living room remained dim and silent. Yet, her mood was entirely different.

The next day

Around noon, Old Mr. Jarvis was basking in the sun in the yard when he saw Gabriel's car pull in.

Old Mr. Jarvis, with a smile already on his face, strode over as Gabriel got out of the car.

"Grandpa!" Gabriel greeted.

Old Mr. Jarvis beamed, "Good, head on up."

As Gabriel turned towards the mansion, he suddenly heard Old Mr. Jarvis speak warmly, "Who's Sylvia?"

He paused in his tracks.

Old Mr. Jarvis stood up and approached, chuckling, "Couldn't help myself, just had to ask. You can tell me or not."

Gabriel replied coolly, "Who mentioned Sylvia to you?"

"Evelyn."

Gabriel's gaze sharpened, "Don't take what she says seriously."

"I haven't, but I still wanted to ask you, who is Sylvia?" Old Mr. Jarvis's eyes were piercing.

Gabriel fell silent for a moment, then spoke firmly, "Our relationship isn't what you think."

Old Mr. Jarvis chuckled, "You know what I'm thinking?"

Gabriel remained silent.

Old Mr. Jarvis continued, "I'm not a stickler for background, I don't care about that. If she's someone you like, bring her over for me to meet. I trust your and Estelle's judgement!" Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

Gabriel's expression was unreadable, "She's not bad at all; that's not why I haven't brought her to meet you. Like I said, our relationship isn't what you imagine."

There was a more serious tone in Old Mr. Jarvis's voice now, "Gab, I understand your thoughts, and your grandpa won't push you. Whatever you decide, I'll support you, but don't let down a good girl!"

Gabriel nodded thoughtfully, "I have my own considerations."

"That's good to hear. Enough said, go rest upstairs," Old Mr. Jarvis waved him off.

As Gabriel was about to leave, the old man added one more piece of advice, "Even young men with strong stamina need to know moderation."
