Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1357

"Hey, move aside! Move aside! Don't block the way!"

The boys shouted as they rushed past, bumping into Louise along the way. She spun around twice before regaining her balance, only to see them all crowding around Fiona. Fiona looked especially small among them, like a star surrounded by her admirers, soaking up their attention and care.

"Flora, morning!"

"Did you have breakfast? I've got some milk here!"

"I've got some muffins, whipped up by our housekeeper. They're delish. Want to try one, Flora?"

The boys were almost tripping over themselves to be helpful to Fiona, even going so far as to pop a straw into the milk before handing it to her.

Laughing and joking, they made their way into school, completely ignoring Louise.

Back in the day, it was Louise who was the center of their universe, thanks to Nash!

Louise clenched her fists so hard her nails nearly broke the skin.

"Is this what you meant by her being targeted?"

She spat the words through gritted teeth, making Alison shiver.

Alison's lips twitched, "I... I didn't know it'd turn out like this..."noveldrama

She glanced at Fiona, surrounded by the boys, and felt a stab of envy.

...

"Flora, since you're new to our class, let us treat you to lunch!"

"Yeah, yeah, where do you want to go? It's on us!"

Fiona, a bit overwhelmed by their enthusiasm, sighed, "Anywhere's fine."

These kids were maybe a bit too eager, making a racket from the school gate all the way to the classroom.

"How can we just go anywhere?

We're treating you, so it's gotta be the best!" one of the boys insisted, "Let's hit up the Golden Hotebit's Cedarvale's top spot!"

Not just in Cedarvale, but it's famous

across the country. Getting a table there wasn't just about having the cash, you needed the right

connections too.

Fiona: "..."

The Golden Hotel, seriously?

"But the Golden Hotel might be too fancy for us to get into," someone fretted.

"If we can't get in, Nash can!"

One of the boys rubbed his arms, "Let Nash lead the way. Flora's first outing with us can't be just anywhere, right?"

Fiona: "...Maybe we should pick another place. I'm not keen on going to the Golden Hotel."

She was being completely honest.

She was practically sick of it.

She'd been eating there since she was a kid, and Uncle Xu hardly ever changed up the menu.

"Flora, the Golden Hotel isn't just any place; their dishes are to die for. You'll regret not trying them!" They assumedFiona didn't know about the Golden Hotel's reputation and quickly added, "Don't worry, today we'll definitely show you a bit of what the world has to offer!"

"What are you guys talking about?" A cold, slightly edgy voice suddenly chimed in from the doorway.

Nash appeared, backpack slung over one shoulder as he walked in.

Seeing Fiona again, there was a hint of awkwardness on Nash's face.

He touched his nose and stood in the doorway, hand in pocket.

The crowd parted for him immediately, clearing a path.

Fiona glanced at him coolly, inwardly grumbling. They were family, yet he was nothing like Jackson.

One was full of life, mature, and handsome, while the other was just plain annoying to look at.
