“That stupid idiot! Damn it! I knew he was up to something when he said he knew Rita and Rita would come to him eventually. So this was his plan all along! Arrrrgh!”

Finn yelled, his outburst echoed through the room like a thunderclap, his frustration palpable in every syllable. He paced back and forth, his hands balled into fists as he fought to contain his anger.

“He’s the creator of Kikachat, he has seen our chats and messages. How dare he intrude into our privacy. That’s so unprofessional! I have to report him, challenge him but… I can’t do that yet” His teeth clenched so tightly.

“Alex is here” Madison announced his presence and in the next minute, Alexander walked in.

“Long time no see my brother, I was told Rita’s been living with you, so I gave you guys some privacy and to not show up” Alex said.

“Suit yourself” I answered sheepishly.

“Woah! See who is already missing his girl”

“Yeah, but..” Finn sighed, he was confused.

“I’m in a mess Alex. Can I disclose a secret with you?” I asked him, holding his hands.

“Sure and before you do, I’ll go first. Madison has been the one giving me information whether you are around, whether you’re alone or not” Alex confessed.

“Of course, who else would be the spy if not Madison”

“Another secret is that I really like Madison, we might have something going on between us, that’s why I keep coming here… to see her. So don’t fire her” Alex continued to confess

“Uhnn.. what?” That was the least of his worries right now. “We’ll talk about that later Alex. I need help right now, I’m so confused. So please listen” Finn pleaded.

“I’m all ears”

“I’m fucked up. I don’t even know where to start” I paused, exhaled deeply and continued “remember when you wanted me to be your biggest supporter when you created love station; I used your app” I confessed, straight to the point.

“You…you did? Ever had an account?”

“Yeah. The username was Jared. Alex, forgive me I am one of those who misused your app. I’m the owner of that fake account who used your pictures and identity” I confessed, he removed his hands from mine.

“What.. you.. you were the one impersonating me?”

Finn nodded slowly.

“You are one of the reasons why Love Station had several fake accounts, fake Identities, scammers and then Love Station eventually crashed?”

“Yeah and I regret doing so. Trust me Alex, I regret my actions and I’m being punished right now” I spoke bitterly.

“What greater punishment is there if no one has sued you” Alex remarked.

“You will never sue your beloving brother, will you?”

“Permit me to go out with Madison, then I’ll think about it. Ugh! It’s not like I need your permission anyways” Surprisingly, Alex was smiling again like my confession didn’t hurt him an inch.

“I said we’ll discuss that later. You are not even taking this conversation seriously”

“You are the one taking it seriously. I forgive you obviously, take a chill pill. Don’t bring back bygones, Also, you should know that I always have good news to tell you about my application” Alex said.

“Alex, I dated Rita on Love Station, trailed her til I found her again…’

Alex opened his mouth in awe before uttering “And you won, you are back into her life again. Sounds like a stalker romance. You should let her know immediately that you knew her from Love Station… Ohh…now I understand why she thought I was Jared. Omg Finn! You have to reveal yourself to her before it’s too late”

“She found out but it’s not yet fully settled. Not only did I have a relationship with her on Love Station, I also did on Kikachat and what we had was intense, lasted months, she fell deeply in love with the username Zane” I confessed.

“Fvck! Shit! Fvck.. what have you done to yourself Finn? Has she found out?” He asked.

I shook my head.

“I have tried to leave this behind and move on. Rita and I will get married very soon. We have both forgotten about Zane but Charles has come in between us”

“You won’t let him! Save your relationship, don’t you know how to?” Alex queried.

“How can you help me Alex?” I didn’t realise tears rolled down my cheeks until it dropped.

“Charles is a wicked man, I found out way too late but now I’m done with him. Listen brother, Charles can never get into your way if you don’t allow him”

“But he pretending to be Zane; Rita and I have had alot together”

“First, no matter how he pretends to be Zane; he is not Zane, and he can ever get it right, he cannot steal her heart. Also, Zane and Rita are done, I don’t think Rita will go back to her ex”

“We have to get married as soon as possible because Charles can be tricky. I’ll fire his ass first thing tomorrow”

“I support, ” Adam added, tapping his brother’s shoulder.

Rita’s POV

The first ever mistake I made was trying an online relationship, then I went on and on to sharing nudes.

I gasped; “It’s over between Zane and I. Why am I worried?”

‘That he will leak my nudes’ My inner self answered.

“No. Zane cannot do that. We have come a long way for him to betray me. He loves me so much” I shook my head Iike I was trying to shake of the thought too.

“But Charles is Zane. That’s unbelievable. Why did he surprisingly come back into my life this way?” I exhaled heavily.

I kept asking myself questions, no one was gonna answer.

“I had better inform Janet Johnson who introduced me to him”

I picked up my phone.

~”Hello, Janet Johnson. Something shocking just happened to me” I sent a message and awaited her instant response but there was none.

Her activity status indicated that it’s been a while she was active.

“Ohh.. that’s unusual” I muttered.

I was about to drop my phone when a message popped in. I looked at the screen, it was from Zane!

Oh My God! I sat upright immediately, strengthening myself.

“Hey babe” He had sent.

I typed as fast as possible.

“Zane, who are you? Where are you? Where have you been?” I sent first and typed another one.”There is someone in my office that claims to be you. Do you have a friend bearing Charles? What’s your relationship with him?” Before I click on the send icon.

His response came in.

“I didn’t mean to alarm you by revealing myself to you in the office. I’ve always wanted to. I miss you so much Rita. It’s even better now that you know me physically, we can continue our relationship from there on” He sent.

Charles is Zane! Zane is Charles!!

I screamed out loud.

Shockwaves rippled through me and my mind reeled with the heavy weight of this realisation.
