Chapter 710 Asking for Father's Help
Chapter 710 Asking for Father's Help
After dinner, Winnie drove home alone. When she got home and stepped out of the elevator, she saw
Brian standing in front of her house with a big bouquet of flowers.
The flowers were the same as Stefan's, even in the same color. It was just many times bigger than the
one from Stefan.
Winnie was helpless and felt he was childish.
After the meal, Winnie had put Brian behind. But his sudden appearance made her heart tangled again. Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
Winnie sighed and then walked to Brian.
"Don't come any more. It doesn't make sense."
Winnie said and opened the door, and then went in to close the door. The next moment, Brian blocked
the door with his foot.
"Take the flowers and I'll go."
Seemingly he said in a peaceful tone, but with a sense of rascal.
"Flower? You're childish, you know. This kind of flower is notmore good-looking because it is bigger,
instead it feels disorderly and does not have that kind of aesthetic feeling. I like a small bouquet, simple
and plain."
"Take it back. I don't like it."
The flowers were beautiful, and it was obvious that Brian had decorated them with his heart. She just
wasn't in the mood to accept these beautiful flowers.
"You'll like it. It looks like a big bunch, but it's actually made up of several smaller ones. Take it in and
open it. You can put one in every room."
Brian was well prepared and would not be brought down by this difficulty.
"Take it or I'll leave, or I'll stand here."
"You..."
Winnie was forced by Brian and got angry.
"Let me ask you, did you take the flowers from my office?"
Winnie glared at Brian, still trying to stall for time, looking for an opportunity to refuse this big bunch of
flowers. But she did not expect to give Brian the opportunity to counter her.
"Take the flowers first and I'll tell you."
Brian said, with one hand to open the door, and then handed the flowers to Winnie.
He was not good at making salacious remarks, nor was it appropriate to say so at this moment.
He waited for Winnie only with his firm eyes and refused to take away his hands.
Winnie was completely speechless and could only take the flowers.
After it was received by Winnie, Brian answered Winnie.
"I took the flowers from your office. I threw them away."
"You are sick, why threw my things away?"
Winnie was angry that the bunch of flowers was buried in the hands of this rogue.
"I thought the bouquet was from Stefan, and I didn't like it so I threw it away."
"He showed his concern, but it also has the meaning of sincere love and tenderness. In the future,
when others send you flowers, be sure to know what the flowers meant before you receive it."
Brian threw away the flowers after learning the flower language. At the moment he must remind Winnie
selfishly that she could not literally accept other people's flowers, especially the flowers with hidden
meaning.
"I'm leaving. Lock the door and be safe."
Brian turned around and left, though he didn't want to leave and wanted to stay. But he promised
Winnie to leave, he must leave.
Winnie had not forgiven him, and he did not dare to force her and only hoped Stefan would not pursue
her.
Winnie carried a large bouquet of flowers into the house. As Brian said, after breaking it down, there
were several small bundles. She then placed a bouquet in each room and then went back to the living
room.
Looking at the flowers and thinking of Brian's reminding, she realized that she really shouldn't receive it
in order to avoid being misunderstood by others. But what kind of flower message did Brian want to
express by sending her these flowers?
Brian did not seem to apologize.
The morning of the third day after Brian learned the truth.
Before it was time to get up, Brian opened his eyes. As long as he opened his eyes, Winnie occupied
all his thoughts.
Now he had told everyone except Winnie's aunt. However, Winnie's aunt was hard to deal with and he
did not know what to do until now.
Winnie's aunt originally did not accept him, so it would be hard to her to accept that they were back
together. And he wronged Winnie, her aunt might never accept him.
Brian got up because he could not stay in bed.
When he went to the window and opened the curtain, he saw his father exercising in the yard. So he
put on his clothes and went downstairs.
"Why are you up so early?"
Rufus asked Brian, who was with a melancholy face, no matter what he did wrong, Rufus was
unavoidably distressed.
"I couldn't fall asleep."
Brian replied listlessly, his brow furrowed from the moment he got up and still unfurled.
"How are you doing with Winwin?"
Rufus knew it was because Winnie that Brian was in a low mood. He came out to talk to him to release
himself.
"No progress. I apologized and she didn't forgive me."
After two days of hard work, these words sum it all up.
"No one could easily forgive for such grievance."
"Oh, Brian, your were thoughtless. Is it really a misunderstanding, or do you just want to break up with
Winwin?"
Rufus understand that Winnie did not forgive Brian, but he wanted to confirm the heart of Brian again,
to determine whether to help.
"How could I possibly want to break up with her? I haven't even thought about it since we started
dating. No matter what we were going through, I never thought about giving up."
Brian patiently explained that he felt wronged at this point. He never thought of breaking up, but many
people thought he found an excuse to break up with Winnie.
He was frank, although he wanted to break up, he would not use so dirty way.
"I was too impatient and impulse to say break up. When I saw the video, my head just went off and I
couldn't calm down."
"I know I did something wrong, and I don't blame Winwin if she never forgives me in her life."
Brian admitted his mistakes again and again, as if speaking out would make him feel better.
"Do you really want Winwin back?"
Rufus knew Brian had a hard time. He misunderstood Winnie, but he was also suffering in pain.
"Yes, I told grandpa that I would never accept blind dates again. If Winwin never forgives me, I will
never marry."
Such a statement was enough to express his determination that he would not regret being single and
raising his two children all his life.
However, when Brian was preparing for the worst, he suddenly thought of his father's love. Did he
suffer when he was tortured by love? Was it also for love to keep him single for so many years?
"You were right to clear your attitude to Grandpa, you hurt Winwin whether you have a cooperation with
Gloria. And a marriage based on profit is not going to be happy at all, and in the end it's not just hoing
to hurt Winwin and the kids, it's going to hurt you."
"Again, I want you to choose who you like and marry for the rest of your life. I don't want you to be
motivated by profit to accept someone you don't like."
Rufus felt it necessary to say his views on this matter. Brian decided to go against the wishes of
grandpa, he will be the first to come out to support.
"Now that you have told grandpa, you must find a way to do well. Put down all the burden, and get
Winwin back. But I want to remind you of one thing. If Winwin comes back to you, no matter what
happens, you can't abandon Winwin impulsively."
Rufus had to say that, even if obstacles from grandpa had been settled, they had a bigger difficulty to
face.
"I have learned my lesson. It is impossible for such a thing to happen again. I believe her, whatever she
does or says."
Brian dare not to be so impulsive again. Like his father said, he not only wronged Winnie, but also
tortured himself.
He could only experience such pain once, or he would die.
"I am so relieved to hear you say so. Go after Winwin. I'll take care of grandpa. I can help you out at
work, too. I have no other request, just hope you and Winwin can give the kids a complete home and
you can be together."
This was probably Rufus' only desire, only Brian and Winnie were happy, he and Isobel could be
happy.
"Now... Now I'm not afraid Winwin won't accept me. I'm afraid Winwin's aunt will disapprove. She didn't
like me before. She didn't like me being with Winwin. She is more disappointed in me this time, and I'm
afraid she'll set her face against it."
Brian said what he had been worried about, and he was stumped.
Rufus was silent, Winnie’s aunt was the difficulty he referred to. He knew Isobel was a problem, even if
he offered help, Isobel might not be able to accept it.
But he must come forward and could not let Brian and Isobel meet now.
"I will contact her and I will apologize to her to see if I could persuade her. You don't have to worry. You
have two kids. Even she does not care about your feelings, she has to care about the kids."
"You just need to get Winwin back, and I'll take care of the rest."
Rufus was not sure, but he must say it with confidence and could not make Brian worry.
"I see... Thank you very much!"
Brian said "thank you" and then turned back.
It was simple to say thank you, but Rufus was touched.
This proved that Brian’s affection for him had deepened and his trust in him had increased. It was a
good direction and worth rejoicing.
Brian went to work, Rufus returned to his room to call Isobel.
When the phone was connected, he felt guilty and didn't know what to say.
"Say it, or I will hang up."
Isobel urged him.
She had not receive Rufus' telephone for a lone time, so she was quite gratified.
