Hayden smiled. "Of course." He shot the waiter a look, and the waiter immediately set a chair down next to Hayden.

Lola sat down and her mother left after saying a few words to the others.

Lola kept her eyes trained on the glass of juice Hayden was holding.

Perhaps Hayden was feeling a little ill from drinking too much, so he finished his juice right away.

"I will do it." Hayden picked up the jug of juice and poured himself another glass. "Have you graduated?"

"No. I'm still in university."

"What are you majoring in?" Hayden had been drinking the entire day, and it would be a lie to say that he was completely sober.

He looked at Lola gently. It was not an expression he would show strangers if he was his usual self.

"Archaeology," Lola said. "I picked it myself because that's what I'm interested in. My parents let me do what I want."

"As long as that's what you like. It's hard to master anything that you don't have a passion for, regardless of the field," Hayden said before feeling a wave of heat rising from his lower body. He scowled as he sensed that his body was swiftly spinning out of control.

Hayden instantly stood from his chair to wash his face, and Lola stood up alongside him as well.

"Hayden, what's wrong?" Lola asked, knowing that the drug had taken effect.

"I'm fine," Hayden said.

Robert immediately noticed that something was wrong as Hayden looked so flushed that he looked like he was having a fever.

He walked over to Hayden and grabbed him by the arm. "Hayden, you are flushed. Are you having a fever?"

"I'm fine. Don't worry." Hayden shoved Robert away. "I'm going the bathroom. If I don't come laterol will be in my room. Just pay attention to the guests."

"Oh, okay."Robert immediately turned around and spotted Lola, who wanted to follow Hayden. "Lola, don't worry. Hayden must have had too much to drink. He just needs some rest."

Lola was not a shameless woman, and despite her mother insisting that she follow Hayden at all costs, she dared not to act when everyone was looking at her. "I... I need to use the washroom." She came up with an excuse and left.

Hayden went to the bathroom to wash his face, but the heat boiling within him had not eased.

He hurried outside, intending to head back to his room.

Lola ran into him when she arrived outside the washroom and saw Hayden whispering something to the bodyguard.

Lola wanted to say something but decided against it since Hayden was talking to his bodyguard, and she simply followed Hayden to the room.

Shelly had been waiting outside the VIP rooms and hurried over when Hayden stepped out of the elevator.

When she saw the state Hayden

was in, she instantly realized that he

had already been drugged. "Sir you

look a little flushed. Are you feeling ill? Do you need a doctor?"

The bodyguard stopped Shelly and glared at her.
