Chapter 3001
"We feed him fish oil, as I mentioned before. It's recommended by the nutritionist. Aiden can take a little solid food now so we've been giving him mushed fruit and vegetables. He has a great appetite and eats a lot," Avery said with a smile. "His father keeps saying that we are making Aiden fat, but we really don't feed him anything extra. He just has a strong build."
"I don't think he is fat, either. He's just big," Shelly said.
"Yeah! He is slightly taller and bigger than most babies his age, so he is naturally heavier, but his weight is within the normal range."
"Thank you for taking care of him every day, Aunt Avery," Shelly said gratefully.
"Aiden is my grandson, so you don't have to thank me for taking care of him! Besides, with the nanny's help, I don't need to take care of him at night!"
Avery did not think it was hard to care for a baby and had had a rather fulfilling six months. Once Aiden got older, she would be able to take him everywhere with her.
Meanwhile, in Dream Maker's office, Hayden had received a message from Avery asking if he wanted to come home for lunch because Shelly was there.
Shelly had taken the day off and planned to spend more time with Aiden.
Hayden was busy, so he declined the offer.
For lunch, he went to the cafeteria with his assistant.
After eating so much restaurant-prepared food, he found his taste buds a little overwhelmed and thought the plainer, simpler food served in the cafeteria would help soothe that feeling.
"Mr. Tate, did you have coffee with Ms. Taylor last night?" Eliam asked in a hushed voice.
"What coffee?" Hayden glanced at his assistant, "Who told you we went for coffee?"
"I guessed... So you didn't go for coffee?" Eliam continued with a smile, "Where did you two go after leaving the hotel last night, then?"
"My son felt ill, and I wasn't in the
mood for leisure activities. After dropped her off at her home, I went straight home myself," Hayden replied. "What's with that expression on your face?"
"Last night told Shelly that you seemed to like her a bit, and I encouraged her to take the initiative. Did she not make any moves?" Eliam wanted to know if Shelly had
listened to his advice.
Hayden recalled Shelly's reaction from last night and realized why she had been blushing the entire time.
"Are you retaliating against me because I deducted your bonus? Is that why you're doing this?" Hayden questioned. "No one asked for your help!"
"I just want to help you! If you don't
make a move and Shelly doesn't
make
move either, how can
anything happen between you two?" Eliam gathered his courage and said, "Just take a leap of faith. it doesn't work out, you can break up. Although my romantic experience is not extensive, my theoretical
knowledge is quite adequate for this situation."
After hearing his assistant's words, Hayden was no longer frustrated but refused to praise Eliam.
It was a great failing for one to be overly confident in their judgment of other people's matters.
Once they reached the cafeteria, Hayden found a place to sit while Eliam went to get the food.
Hayden was not picky about food and did not like wasting time thinking about what to eat, so Eliam would buy Hayden whatever he chose.
Not far away, Fergus finished selecting his food and saw Hayden sitting alone. Suddenly, he felt a surge of courage and decided to talk to his boss about Shelly.
He didn't know how his boss felt about Shelly, but if he could find out, he could pass it on to her so Shelly would not have to wait endlessly.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
"Can I sit here?" Fergus approached Hayden with a tray of food.
Hayden glanced at him and nodded.
After Fergus hesitantly sat down, he expressed his intentions: "Mr. Tate, can I talk to you about Shelly?"
