His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 3008

When Mrs. Taylor returned, Hayden was holding Audrey in the living room while Shelly was busy packing their belongings.

Mrs. Taylor smiled and spoke to Hayden, "You've been carrying her all this time, aren't you tired? You can put her in the crib, it'll be easier for you."

"I'm not tired," Hayden replied honestly. "Aiden's heavier than her, and I have to carry him around every day."

"Taking care of a child will be really tiring if you spoil him like that, you know?" Mrs. Taylor said. "You spoil Aiden too much. It's not good to indulge a child too much." Shelly chimed in, poking her head out, "Mom, it's not as exaggerated as you think. Aunty Avery is a sensible person. She won't spoil Aiden."

Mrs. Taylor responded, "Oh, that's good then."

"Why would you even worry about that? Look at Aunty Avery's four children, they are all exceptional," Shelly continued. "They will definitely take good care of Aiden."

Mrs. Taylor started packing as well, but she felt somewhat restless and uneasy in her heart. "Where are we moving to? It's nice living here! It's quiet, and I've grown accustomed to the tranquillity. Going to a bustling place might make me uncomfortable!"

Shelly did not know how to respond as she had no idea where Hayden planned to move them either.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Taylor. The new home will be even quieter than this. There won't be any disturbances," Hayden said.

Mrs. Taylor remained doubtful. "Oh... Mr. Tate, I have no objections to moving, but could you make sure it's not too far from my daughter's cafe? She doesn't drive, and it would be exhausting for her to commute if it's too far away!"

Shelly blushed. "Mom, please don't make any requests! It's already kind enough of Hayden to not take Audrey away. It doesn't matter where we live as long as I can be with Audrey." Mrs. Taylor listened to her daughter's words and obediently remained silent.

Hayden pondered and answered Mrs. Taylor's question, "You will be staying in a place that lies in the opposite direction from this apartment, but the distance from there to the cafe is about the same."

"Oh, that's good. Mr. Tate, I've heard

from Shelly that you're a very

reasonable person, and meeting you today confirms that you're truly

good person,"

Mrs. Taylor said

"Although our social classes are

different, you show great respect for

others."

"You can just call me Hayden, Mrs. Taylor. I believe that respecting others is a basic requirement of being a decent person, and it shouldn't be tied to social status," Hayden replied. "You're absolutely right. You're such a brilliant young man." Mrs. Taylor sighed. "It's a shame that my Shelly isn't a suitable match for you. If only you weren't so wealthy."

Both Shelly and Hayden were taken aback for a moment.

"Mom, stop talking! I'm begging you!" Shelly darted out of the room and pulled her mother into another room. "Just pack your things. I will take care of the things in the living room."

"Shelly, Hayden seems like a nice

guy. I'm just telling him how I feel. He won't mind," Mrs. Taylor said calmly. "Just look at the way he holds Audrey. He seems so familiar with it that I'm sure he holds Aiden at home all the time as well. A man who's ambitious at work and caring at home is so much better than

ordinary men." Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Mom, you said so yourself that I'm not a worthy match for him, so just stop fantasizing, okay? Let's pack!" Shelly pushed her mother's suitcase over and set it on the ground. Hayden stood outside the room with Audrey in his arms and said, "Don't rush. The villa hasn't been cleaned yet. We will go over at six in the evening."

"Oh... okay! There's no rush, then." Shelly relaxed. "Do you want some fruit? I can prepare some."

Hayden ignored her offer and said, "Do you want to tell my parents about Audrey or should I tell them?"

He could not be bothered with

eating and desperately wanted to

take Audrey back to his parents, knowing that both Avery and Elliot would be over the moon; however, by telling his family about Audrey, he would be putting his family in the same dilemma as well.
