His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 3055

"Ever since Aiden joined our family, I guess our parents have gotten really busy, huh?" Layla asked.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Yeah. Aiden is still little and needs to be taken care of. Mom and Dad still care a lot about me and remember when I have classes and when I don't!"

"I only want one child," Layla said. "Having too many children feels tiring. Our parents have four and can never stop worrying."

"Just focus on giving birth to the baby, Layla. Worrying about your kids is one thing, but one would also feel happy by being a parent." Ivy peeled an apple and cut it into smaller pieces for Layla. Just then, Eric stepped out of the kitchen and walked toward them with a pot of chicken soup for Layla.

"Layla, why don't you give it a try?" Eric placed the tray on the table and handed a bowl to Layla, then passed another bowl to Ivy. "Ivy, you should try it too."

Ivy smiled as she took the bowl of soup. "Thank you, big brother-in-law. This soup you stewed is so delicious and nourishing. If I keep drinking it for a few more days, I'll probably gain some weight!"

"I filtered out the excess oil, so it shouldn't make you gain too much weight. Look at your sister. She drinks the soup every day and hasn't gained much weight. Even before she got pregnant, I would stew soup for her as well," Eric said.

Layla laughed. "The reason I didn't gain weight before was because I exercised regularly, you know? Now that I can't exercise, I'm sure I'll gain weight."

Eric looked at her endearingly. "You're too thin, so gaining a little weight would be good for you."

"But I don't want to gain weight! I just asked Ivy what kind of guys she likes, and she said she likes tall and slender ones. It means being tall and slim is important," Layla said after taking two sips of soup and feeling full.

Ivy laughed helplessly. "Layla, I was just talking nonsense. I don't even have a partner, so I don't know what I really like. Maybe in the future, I'll find someone a bit chubby!

Ivy finished speaking and quickly drank her soup before quickly comforting her sister, "Layla, drink the soup while it's still hot. Brother-in-law's stew is really delicious!" Cheered by her sister's words, Layla finally finished the soup.

At three in the afternoon, Hayden and Shelly returned to Avonsville, and they first went back to Hayden's villa in the city.

Hayden had prepared gifts for Shelly's parents and her younger brother, and they were all valuable gifts.

However, when they arrived home, they found only Shelly's mother and Audrey.

"Where are Dad and my brother?" Shelly asked.

"They've left." Mrs. Taylor blushed and explained, "Your brother starts school tomorrow, and your father was urged to go back to work!"

"They could have at least stayed for

a meal together, and they could have

left after that! Can't Dad take one. ?

more day off to rest?" Shelly sighed. "Hayden bought gifts for them!"

"Oh, Hayden, you must have spent a lot on these. We'll give them the gifts the next time they come to visit," Mrs. Taylor said to Hayden.

"Hayden even wanted to arrange a meeting between our families!" Shelly muttered quietly. "They didn't even tell me when they left."

Mrs. Taylor was excited. "That's

easy! Once Hayden sets a date, I'll

tel

make your father come over right away! If your brother needs to come, we can apply for leave! Everything should revolve around the two of you!"
