Chapter 2220
Chapter 2220
After Fred gave the instruction, someone soon entered and took Rhea away. She looked at Lily
tauntingly as she left.
‘So childish!’ Fred scoffed. ‘Does she think she’s indispensable? Indeed, I need talents, but I’m not that
desperate. Although R20 sounds interesting, that woman isn’t our only option.
‘Also, we wanted to research mind control several times but failed. How would we know if she
succeeded?’
Fred looked at Lily sitting there meditatively. He wondered if she had accepted her fate or was planning
something.
Whatever it was, his men had searched her to ensure she would not have anything—not even the
smallest tool—on her. He had also stopped giving her medicine to maintain her body's purity for the
experiment's sake.
After some thought, he got up and entered the elevator, pressing the button for B1.
Reaching basement level one, he exited the elevator and took a winding path to the stairwell. He then
went downstairs.
Two floors down, he reached an ample space divided into several rooms where people conducted
experiments intensively. Besides the clinking of utensils and the beeping of computers, as they
analyzed data, there was no sound of anyone talking.
Fred had secretly built this concealed place over the years. He had planned ahead since he knew
setting up an inconspicuous laboratory was challenging. Not even the queen knew about its existence.
Now, he could safely conduct the final phase of the R10 experiment here. He would obtain his ultimate
success when it worked.
When Fred went in, no one paid attention because they were busy with work. He was pleased with it
and did not want anyone to greet or salute him. He only wanted results.
After approaching a computed, Fred looked at the ongoing data analysis. On the computer screen were
two simulated figures of human bodies containing the physiological data of Lily and the queen.
Nearly every day, the data would be updated and then cross-referenced.
Fred bent over and studied it. After a moment, he typed something on the keyboard and brought up two
more figures with comparison charts. They were two males instead of females.
He narrowed his eyes thoughtfully.
The person in charge saw his concerned look and said, “This particular comparison is unique. Since
the child is still growing, the data isn't entirely precise. We should expect such variations."
After a moment of thought, Fred asked, “Does that mean he might not match up and be unusable?"
"That’s correct." After a pause, the person continued, "However, he’s highly compatible regarding blood
type and other data. Relatively speaking, the probability of him being a match is very high."
“There’s no rush. I still have time.”Fred looked grim but not anxious.
Compared to the queen, he still could wait. However, he desperately needed to know if the experiment
would work. If it succeeded, that would mark the first and pivotal step of his grand undertaking.NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
