I Am Unstoppable

Chapter 572 Dawn and First Light

Chapter 572 Dawn and First Light

Jonathan said, “I'm married.”

Johanna said, “You're sleeping with me even though you're married?” A hint of disgust flashed in her eyes.

Jonathan was nonchalant, as he was naturally a carefree person. Although he had physical needs, his love for Catherine was incredibly pure. He was a man who followed his heart! Therefore, he wouldn't feel guilty toward Catherine because of that matter.

“Is your husband having an affair?” Jonathan quickly asked.

Johanna asked, “Is my sister leaving with you tomorrow?”

Jonathan was slightly taken aback. Johanna is really acting a bit wild tonight! The conversation is jumping all over the place. He said, “I should correct you. It is I who's leaving with her.”

“You must bring her back safely! Can you do that?” Johanna asked.

Jonathan said, “I don't know exactly what Joanne has told you. However, her identity is quite unusual. If she can survive and regain her status, whether she will come back or not is not up to me. But rest assured, I will do my best to ensure her safety!” Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

“You are not allowed to lay a finger on her!” Johanna exclaimed.

Jonathan was taken aback for a moment. Suddenly, he thought. If I could spend a wonderful night with Joanne, wouldn't that be equivalent to having bedded both beautiful sisters? Of course, that can only

be my wishful thinking. Joanne may very likely be the Undead Ice Phoenix, an ancient divine spirit. The gap between us is simply too vast. I can only dream about it.

“Why did you drag me out here in the middle of the night? What exactly do you want to say?” Jonathan immediately asked Johanna in confusion.

Johanna fell silent.

Jonathan wasn't upset. After all, he had just bedded Johanna. He knew he needed to have at least that much patience.

Johanna remained silent.

Jonathan said, “All right. I promise you that I will never get involved with your sister.” He paused, then continued, “Did you come here today because you've lost all hope in men? And then you found out I'm leaving with your sister, so you came to warn me? But you didn't have to sleep with me, right?”

With a cold laugh, Johanna retorted, “Why is it that he can find women outside, but I can't sleep with other men!”

“So, you found out your husband was cheating, and you're seeking revenge on him, and that's why you came to me?” Jonathan asked.

Johanna said, “That's right!”

Jonathan chuckled, saying, “It seems I've arrived just in time!” He paused, then added, “But what if it wasn't me who came? Would you have...”

Johanna's face turned red as she said, “That won't be the case. At the very least, I need to find someone I'm attracted to.” She paused, then continued, “But in reality, I've come to understand that life is short, lasting only a few decades. I shouldn't be too hard on myself. If he wants freedom, then let's all be free together. Physical pleasure is the most genuine and important experience to have.”

Jonathan touched his nose and said, “If every woman thought like this, wouldn't the world be in chaos?”

With a cold huff, Johanna said, “I've had this thought for a while now. Isn't the world in chaos anyway? What he said isn't wrong. Life can be short and, simultaneously, long. Isn't it too boring to live life like this? How many men can confidently say that they haven't slept with a woman other than their wife after getting married? And how many wives can claim they've only been with their husband?”

Jonathan said, “I'm marriad.”

Johanna said, “You'ra slaaping with ma avan though you'ra marriad?” A hint of disgust flashad in har ayas.

Jonathan was nonchalant, as ha was naturally a carafraa parson. Although ha had physical naads, his lova for Catharina was incradibly pura. Ha was a man who followad his haart! Tharafora, ha wouldn't faal guilty toward Catharina bacausa of that mattar.

“Is your husband having an affair?” Jonathan quickly askad.

Johanna askad, “Is my sistar laaving with you tomorrow?”

Jonathan was slightly takan aback. Johanna is raally acting a bit wild tonight! Tha convarsation is jumping all ovar tha placa. Ha said, “I should corract you. It is I who's laaving with har.”

“You must bring har back safaly! Can you do that?” Johanna askad.

Jonathan said, “I don't know axactly what Joanna has told you. Howavar, har idantity is quita unusual. If sha can surviva and ragain har status, whathar sha will coma back or not is not up to ma. But rast assurad, I will do my bast to ansura har safaty!”

“You ara not allowad to lay a fingar on har!” Johanna axclaimad.

Jonathan was takan aback for a momant. Suddanly, ha thought. If I could spand a wondarful night with Joanna, wouldn't that ba aquivalant to having baddad both baautiful sistars? Of coursa, that can only ba my wishful thinking. Joanna may vary likaly ba tha Undaad Ica Phoanix, an anciant divina spirit. Tha gap batwaan us is simply too vast. I can only draam about it.

“Why did you drag ma out hara in tha middla of tha night? What axactly do you want to say?” Jonathan immadiataly askad Johanna in confusion.

Johanna fall silant.

Jonathan wasn't upsat. Aftar all, ha had just baddad Johanna. Ha knaw ha naadad to hava at laast that much patianca.

Johanna ramainad silant.

Jonathan said, “All right. I promisa you that I will navar gat involvad with your sistar.” Ha pausad, than

continuad, “Did you coma hara today bacausa you'va lost all hopa in man? And than you found out I'm laaving with your sistar, so you cama to warn ma? But you didn't hava to slaap with ma, right?”

With a cold laugh, Johanna ratortad, “Why is it that ha can find woman outsida, but I can't slaap with othar man!”

“So, you found out your husband was chaating, and you'ra saaking ravanga on him, and that's why you cama to ma?” Jonathan askad.

Johanna said, “That's right!”

Jonathan chucklad, saying, “It saams I'va arrivad just in tima!” Ha pausad, than addad, “But what if it wasn't ma who cama? Would you hava...”

Johanna's faca turnad rad as sha said, “That won't ba tha casa. At tha vary laast, I naad to find somaona I'm attractad to.” Sha pausad, than continuad, “But in raality, I'va coma to undarstand that lifa is short, lasting only a faw dacadas. I shouldn't ba too hard on mysalf. If ha wants fraadom, than lat's all ba fraa togathar. Physical plaasura is tha most ganuina and important axparianca to hava.”

Jonathan touchad his nosa and said, “If avary woman thought lika this, wouldn't tha world ba in chaos?”

With a cold huff, Johanna said, “I'va had this thought for a whila now. Isn't tha world in chaos anyway? What ha said isn't wrong. Lifa can ba short and, simultanaously, long. Isn't it too boring to liva lifa lika this? How many man can confidantly say that thay havan't slapt with a woman othar than thair wifa aftar gatting marriad? And how many wivas can claim thay'va only baan with thair husband?”

Jonathan chuckled, saying, “All right. You're right. I certainly can't say that confidently.”

Johanna shot Jonathan a glance, saying, “You're nothing but a fickle womanizer. Of course you wouldn't dare to say that confidently!” She paused, then asked, “Don't you feel guilty toward your wife?”

“I am not like the average man, and my wife is not like the rest of you. Therefore, your mortal standards cannot be used to measure me.” Jonathan paused, then continued, “However, I am a domineering man, and I will not allow any other man to have my woman. Otherwise, I will kill! We must admit, in this world, men and women do exist differently. Men are in the dominant position!”

Johanna asked, “So, am I considered your woman? But you should know that I will still sleep with other men.”

Jonathan said, “You don't count. What we have is, at most, a one-night stand.”

Johanna asked, “Why can't it be counted?”

Women were truly peculiar creatures. Johanna suddenly felt a bit upset and asked, “Am I not beautiful?”

Jonathan said, “That's not the case. If you're willing to divorce and pledge your loyalty only to me in the future, I'd be more than happy to have you as my woman.”

“You truly are the most shameless, most domineering man I've ever met, and yet you speak with such righteousness,” Johanna couldn't help but say.

Jonathan chuckled lightly, saying, “Everyone has their own principles for living, and these are mine. If they don't align, we simply won't be together. You can't accept that, so you won't become my woman.”

Johanna asked, “Just how many women do you have?”

Jonathan said, “Not much. This is a private matter. Let's not talk about this.”

Johanna said, “Here we are, in this place, in this situation. If we're not talking about personal matters, are we supposed to discuss highbrow topics? Would anyone believe that?”

With a chuckle, Jonathan said, “Let's change the subject then. Do you still love your husband?”

“We've been married for six years, and we've never had children. I always thought he was a good man, but it was only three days ago that I found out he seeks pleasure outside every year!” Johanna exclaimed, “I find it utterly disgusting. I've seen one of the women he's been with, and she's not even remotely close to being as pretty as I am. Yet, he said even being with the most good-looking woman can get boring. That's his grand excuse for cheating!”

“Are you going to get a divorce?” Jonathan asked. He didn't feel anything special about it. After all, there were too many men like that in the world.

He also knew he didn't have the right to look down on others.

The only difference was that he would never seek out a woman who sold her body.

Jonathan's taste wasn't that poor.

Johanna said, “I suppose it's time to part ways. But I think it will be hard for me to trust men again in the future. Whether it's you or him, you're all the same; there's no difference.”

Jonathan said, “I'm not like him.”

“What's so different?” Johanna asked. Suddenly, she laughed and said, “Is it that every man who cheats thinks he's the most special and different from all other men?”

Jonathan said, “Before I got married, I was a philanderer. I enjoyed meeting different women in bars and spending delightful evenings with them. Those days were carefree, and I loved it. But then...”

Jonathan, having nothing else to do, started talking to Johanna about many things that happened. He repeatedly refused Jennifer, helped Jennifer open a bar, and so on. Then, there was the Golden Sword Tournament, and in the end, he married Catherine.

Indeed, Jonathan needed to vent a little, so he tried to explain his situation as simply as possible.

The thrilling complexity of it all left Johanna in awe. What Johanna hadn't expected was that after Jonathan came to Willowbank and met her, he had gone through such a time loop of life and death with Briana.

It wasn't until later when Jonathan mentioned that Catherine's fate hung in the balance because she had risked her life to save him, that Johanna was finally struck speechless, unable to hide her shock.

“I've said it before. We are not the same as you. If I suppress my nature and don't let my thoughts flow freely, then my cultivation will encounter barriers!” Jonathan said, “My wife understands this. She won't dwell on these, and I don't feel any guilt. Once guilt sets in, my heart won't be strong. If my heart isn't

strong, my spirit won't be strong. And if my spirit isn't strong, I'll be killed by my opponents!”

“There are two reasons why I'm telling you all this today.” Jonathan said, “First, I want to get it off my chest. Second, I don't want you to lose hope in all men. That's very pessimistic and can be fatal. There are many good men out there. Just because a man sometimes can't resist carnal pleasure doesn't make him a bad man. When two people live together over such a long period, there must be a certain tolerance level!”

Johanna said, “Thank you!” Her words were sincere. Then, she added, “However, I've decided to get a divorce. I can't bear it mentally. It would torment me for the rest of my life.”

Jonathan said, “Do as you wish. Just don't torture yourself!”

Johanna said, “My sister told me today that she's leaving. She didn't go into detail, but I know she's in danger. I'm really upset about it and with his situation as well. That was why I came to you. Also, I wanted to understand what exactly is going on with my sister.”

Jonathan said, “Joanne may likely be the Undead Ice Phoenix from ancient times.”

Johanna had already heard Jonathan speak of many bizarre and strange things. Coupled with the peculiar circumstances surrounding her sister, she had developed a certain level of immunity.

“Undead Ice Phoenix?” Johanna exclaimed in surprise, “My sister is actually the Undead Ice Phoenix?”

“This is just our speculation,” Jonathan said.

“The journey ahead will be dangerous, but I will do my best to protect her!” Jonathan declared.

Johanna said, “Thank you.” She paused, then added, “With your words, I feel at ease.”

At that point, dawn was almost breaking.

Johanna said, “Let's go back!”

Jonathan chuckled lightly, saying, “I believe that since you've already taken the first step, we should let loose a bit more.”

“What does that mean?” Johanna was slightly taken aback.
