Chapter 195 She Cares About Me
Zane sat on the sofa, staring at the closed door.
Although Yanis had slept in the afternoon, she lay in bed, thinking of Zane, who was sitting outside, and
then sleepiness came over her again.
Unconsciously, she closed her eyes and forgot about Zane.
In a daze, she seemed to feel someone next to her, Yanis almost subconsciously clung to him.
The somewhat cold bed in the instant warmed up.
She seemed to feel it not warn enough, Yanis rubbed her body against the person next to hers.
Zane held her tightly into his arms, bowed his head to kiss her on the forehead, and hugged her even
tighter.
He had been busy recently and went to bed late at night, and he travelled here overnight, Zane was
also a little tired now.
So, with Yanis in his arms, he closed his eyes and soon fell asleep.
After all these years of being indifferent to each other, for the first time, Zane thought Yanis so
important to him.
So important that he wanted to fight for her for once.
But before he could plan it out, all his plans were disrupted.
Neve had Anika's tape and Lucia had been pushing him, all that had happened left him at the end of
his rope.
He could not get close to Yanis, nor did he want to step away from her. Once he stepped away, Yanis
might be gone forever.
After waking up, Bonnie found that she was in Myles's arms, and she was immediately sober.
However, she stared at Myles for a long while before she got up and left the room.
After she left, Myles opened his eyes and couldn't help smiling.
He could still feel the warmth Bonnie left and smell her.
His phone on the bedside table rang.
Myles grabbed it and saw the message from Evan, "Are you not at home?"
Myles called him, "What do you need me?"
Evan's voice came through the phone, "To go to Haider's for dinner tonight."
Myles had long forgotten about it and cleared his throat awkwardly, "You should go with me."
"You aren't still in the bar, are you? When did the party end last night?"
Myles sat up, leaning against the wall, "I am going to have lunch now, just go without me."
"Are you crazy? It's fucking at night now and you are having lunch?"
"I'm in M Country."
When Ivan heard Myles, he was silent for a long time before he slowly asked, "For Bonnie?"
Myles nodded, "She still cares about me."
Evan was speechless, "If you think so."
Myles cursed before he said, "I think she has been hiding something from me."
"You are like a stalker, following her every day. How can she be hiding anything from you? If she did,
you've failed as a stalker."
"Hey, be nicer. Are you happy to see me being abandoned by her?"
Evan replied, "Suit yourself. I don't care."
Then he hung up.
Myles stared at his phone for a while and swore.
When he was about to put his phone aside, he got another message from Evan, "Myles, have you
heard about Bonnie's parents?"
Myles stared at it for a while and texted back, "Of course. They divorced because they didn't love each
other anymore."
Evan didn't reply.
Myles was going to call and ask, but just after he called, Bonnie came back.
"Myles!"
"What?" Myles put his phone away and looked at Bonnie, was obviously mad.
Bonnie walked up to him and looked down at him, "Did you bring that scumbag here?"
She almost wanted to slap him.
Fortunately, she held back the urge.
Myles didn't deny it, because it would be a lie if he did.
"I met him in Deep in Dream last night. I happened to see your post and he happened to see it on my
phone, and then... but I didn't bring him here, we met on the plane."
"Do you think I will believe it?"
Myles changed the topic, "Bonnie, you stopped blacklisting me, does it mean you are not angry
anymore?"
Bonnie sneered and blacklisted him right in his face.
Myles was rendered speechless.
"How much did he pay you? You are a good help of his."
Myles got out of bed and wanted to hug her when she avoided him, "Don't touch me!"
Myles's arms froze in the air, "Bonnie..."
"I want you out of my sight right now, I don't want to see you!"
Bonnie then turned around and walked away.
Myles didn't go after her.
After taking a few steps, Bonnie slowed down her pace.
Thinking of Myles's face, Bonnie sighed, picked up her phone and sent a message to Ivan, "Ivan, help!"
Ivan called her back. "What's wrong?"
"Are you in a meeting or are you still in the hotel?"
Ivan replied, "I was about to leave, is it about Yanis?"
"No." Bonnie pursed her lips, "Wait for me, I need to use your bathroom."
With that, Bonnie hung up the phone, fortunately, the receptionist gave them two room cards.
Bonnie snuck into their room and got some clothes to change as well as some daily necessities before
closing the door quietly and leaving.
Seeing her with all those things in her arms, Ivan was a bit shocked, "What's wrong with your
bathroom?"
Bonnie didn't say anything, "Yanis's sleeping, I don't want to wake her up."
Ivan didn't ask more questions, "Okay. I need to go now, they are waiting for me. Take the room card
and give it to the receptionist after you are done using my bathroom."
Bonnie nodded, she called and stopped Ivan when he was about to leave, "Ivan."
Ivan stopped, turned around to look at her, "What's wrong?"
Bonnie swallowed her words in the end, "Nothing. Go. I will give your room card to the receptionist
later."
Ivan answered, "Okay, bye."
After he left, Bonnie took a shower, changed her clothes and left the hotel.
When Yanis woke up and wanted to stretch her arms, she felt something and looked over. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
When she saw the man next to her, she put down her raised arms.
The man was handsome and with a frown in his sleep, Yanis was a bit distracted by him and wanted to
ease his frown.
"Yanis, don't move."
The man suddenly said in a low voice and held her back into his arms.
