Chapter 907: Someone Intentionally Adding Fuel to the Fire

Upon hearing Zane's words, Zane glanced at Yanis and didn't hide anything. He briefly recounted what

he had just discussed with Brandon.

After listening to Zane, Yanis frowned slightly, "So you mean someone intentionally added fuel to the

fire in Sandy's matter? Exaggerating the situation?"

"Sandy is just a celebrity, and the most one can gain from her is benefits. Nowadays, it's difficult for

anyone to suppress Sandy's position in the entertainment industry. So, who do you think would benefit

the most if Sandy were to fall from her current position?"

Zane's words instantly made Yanis understand.

In this matter, Sandy is seen as an obstacle by others, and they want to find various ways to pull her

down and take her place.

If we analyze it this way, there are only a few people who would benefit from this situation.

However, how this matter will be resolved and in what manner, it ultimately depends on Gotrend

Entertainment and Sandy herself.

The next morning, Yanis and Zane went to Aunt Jillian's house first.

Originally, they planned to go together with Brandon and Sandy, but something came up for Brandon in

the morning. Additionally, Yanis had promised Natasha to take them around Viteto in the afternoon. So,

Yanis and Zane had to go ahead.C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

It had been a long time since they last met, and Aunt Jillian seemed to have aged visibly.

When Yanis and Zane arrived, only Kason was at home, discussing with Aunt Jillian about buying

some groceries.

Upon seeing Yanis and Zane, Kason greeted them, "You're here. I was just about to go buy some

groceries. I'll cook for you later, and your sister-in-law will be here too."

Yanis put down the things she was carrying and responded, "We originally planned to come together

with Brandon and Sandy, but Brandon had something to take care of this morning. Also, I promised

Natasha that I would take them around Viteto in the afternoon. So, we came here first."

Kason approached and took the items from Zane's hands, saying, "Brandon called earlier, saying you

might come later, but I didn't expect you to arrive so quickly."

Kason placed the items on the table and turned to Yanis and Zane, "Please have a seat. I'll go buy

some groceries. By the time Brandon and the others return, it'll be time for dinner."

After saying this to Yanis and Zane, Kason turned to Aunt Jillian and said, "Mom, you chat with Yanis

and the others for a while. I'll go buy the groceries. Maya is on her way back."

Aunt Jillian responded, "Buy a little more. When Maya comes back, ask Brandon and Sandy's child

what they like to eat and have Maya prepare some."

Saying that, Aunt Jillian looked at Yanis and asked, "Yanis, what would you like to eat? Tell your big

brother, so he can buy more."

Yanis replied, "Anything is fine for me. I'm not picky."

"What about Zane?" Aunt Jillian asked, looking at Zane.

Zane responded, "Anything is fine. I'm not picky."

Aunt Jillian smiled and said, "Make yourselves at home. Treat this place as your own."

"No need to be polite," Yanis said, then turned to Kason, "Brother Yang, just buy whatever you think is

good. Don't buy too much. We have something to do in the afternoon."

Kason agreed, "Okay, I'll buy the groceries first. You guys chat for a while."

Shortly after Kason left, Yanis moved closer to Aunt Jillian and said, "Aunt Jillian, why don't you come

with us to Manches City this time?"

Aunt Jillian waved her hand in response, "I won't go. I'm getting old now, and I have my share of health

issues. Going there won't suit me, and it would only cause you trouble. It's better to stay here, where

it's more comfortable."

When people get old, they tend to think this way. They don't want to be a burden to their children and

try to minimize any trouble they may cause.

Yanis could tell that Aunt Jillian still hoped that both Brandon and Sandy would settle in Viteto. But in

the end, Aunt Jillian chose to follow Brandon and Sandy's wishes and even suggested that they settle

in Manches City.

Yanis didn't want to say more than necessary, so she didn't elaborate further.

Within ten minutes of Kason's departure, Maya arrived.

She entered with a four or five-year-old girl holding her hand.

The girl bore some resemblance to Kason.

"Hey, why didn't Tommy go to kindergarten today?" Aunt Jillian waved at the little girl Maya was

holding.

Tommy let go of Maya's hand and ran over to Aunt Jillian. "Grandma!"

Maya watched Tommy approach and then turned to Yanis and Zane. "Did you sort out everything on

your end? Brandon said you might need two more days."

Yanis looked at Maya and replied, "Once we finished everything, we came over. It's been a long time,

and we wanted to visit Aunt Jillian."

Maya nodded. "If there's nothing urgent in Manches City, why don't you stay here for a few days? I

heard Brandon brought Sandy back too, so you can all be together."

Yanis responded, "We can't. We brought a few kids with us, and they need to go back to school."

Upon hearing this, Maya naturally thought of the Miller family's children. "Are they all going back? Isn't

there anyone staying here?"

"Mitch and Reed are staying," Yanis said.

Maya nodded. "That's good. Let the ones going to school go back first."

"Mama, I want water," Tommy came over and reached out, tugging Maya's hand.

Maya responded, "Wait a moment, I'll get you some water and give you your medicine too."

Aunt Jillian, upon hearing Maya's words, looked up at her. "What's wrong? Is Tommy sick again?"

"He has a little diarrhea. We just came back from the hospital, where he had some tests done. The

doctor said it might be because he ate something cold and caught a chill. Taking medicine will help him

recover." Maya explained Tommy's condition in detail to ease Aunt Jillian's concerns.

Aunt Jillian nodded after listening to Maya. "That's good. Now, make sure he eats less of such things.

Tommy always likes to eat cold stuff. Tell Kason to keep an eye on him."

Maya responded, "Alright."

Maya poured water for Tommy, coaxed him to take his medicine, and then looked at Aunt Jillian. "Mom,

where is Kason? Hasn't he arrived yet?"

"He went to buy groceries. Didn't he call you?"

Upon hearing Aunt Jillian's words, Maya reached into her pocket and took out her phone. She glanced

at it and said, "It's off. I forgot to charge it."

Saying that, Maya turned to find her charger and plugged her phone in. "Mom, when will Brandon and

the others come back?"

Aunt Jillian replied, "They should be back later. Yanis just said that Brandon had some last-minute

matters to attend to, so they'll be here a little later."

Maya responded, "Okay, I'll leave Tommy here. I'll go to the market to find Kason. I'm not too confident

about the things he bought. It's always missing something or too little of something. I'll go check it out."
