Chapter 911: Brandon, I'm Fine
After hearing Sandy's words, Anthony's expression slightly changed, and he shook his head. "I'll go
now."
Sandy stood in front of Anthony and didn't move aside. "You helped me again. If you're not going back
to Manches City tomorrow, let me treat you to a meal."
Anthony hesitated for a moment, looking into Sandy's sincere eyes, and nodded. "Alright."
Hiruma nodded at Sandy and followed Anthony towards the elevator.
Once inside the elevator, Hiruma glanced at Anthony. "Boss, Brandon isn't even worthy compared to
you."
Anthony remained silent, not knowing how to respond to Hiruma's words.
Meanwhile, back at the emergency room entrance, Brandon inquired about Sandy's condition with the
doctor and then registered for additional tests.
"Brandon, I'm fine," Sandy assured him, sensing Brandon's self-blame and guilt.
Brandon didn't say anything and simply held Sandy's hand tightly.
Yanis and Zane stood by and didn't interrupt.
Due to Brandon's connections, the registration and tests proceeded quickly.
After a while, all the tests were completed. The doctor spoke to Brandon in a low voice, "I'll inform you
of the results. You can go home for now."
The doctor paused and added, "If I don't contact you tomorrow morning, there's no need to worry. But if
I do, you might need to come back."
Brandon nodded. "Alright. When you have time, I'll treat you to a meal."
The doctor patted Brandon's shoulder and replied, "Sure, whenever I'm available."
Since Sandy's sudden condition arose, Brandon delegated the matter to Berton. After all, Berton had
been by his side for many years and was someone he could trust.
After leaving the hospital, Brandon returned home with the others.
Upon arriving, Kason and Maya had already bought groceries and were busy in the kitchen.
After entering the house, Brandon first greeted Aunt Jillian. When Aunt Jillian saw Sandy, she waved
her over, motioning for Sandy to come closer.
Sandy approached Aunt Jillian and sat down beside her. "Aunt Jillian, it's been a long time."
Aunt Jillian held Sandy's hand and gently patted it. "You've lost weight. You're even thinner than the
last time we met. Are they not feeding you at your company?"
Yanis chuckled and replied, "Aunt Jillian, I eat a lot, but I just don't gain weight."
Aunt Jillian listened to Sandy's response and turned to Brandon. "Be more attentive in the future. Let
Sandy eat more delicious food and gain some weight. She's too thin like this."
Brandon responded, "I understand."
"Uncle Brandon!"
Just as Brandon finished speaking to Aunt Jillian, Tommy came running over and threw himself into
Brandon's arms.
Brandon caught him. "Why are you at home today?"
"I'm sick, so Mom said I should rest at home." Tommy's gaze shifted to Sandy, who sat beside Aunt
Jillian. He whispered to Brandon, "Uncle Brandon, I know that pretty lady. She's famous in our school,
and the teachers really like her. We all like her too."
After hearing Tommy's words, Brandon glanced at Sandy's face and followed Tommy's lead, speaking
in a low voice, "How about we make her your Aunt in the future? When you go to school, tell your
classmates that she's your Aunt. They'll surely envy you."
Tommy nodded eagerly. "Okay."
Brandon lovingly reached out and ruffled Tommy's hair before letting him down. "Go say hello."
Tommy acknowledged and walked towards Sandy after leaving Brandon's embrace. "Hello, Aunt
Sandy."
The term "Aunt Sandy" caught Sandy off guard for a few seconds. Finally, she smiled at Tommy. Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
"Hello."
"I'm Tommy, my full name is Lucas Hawkins, and my brother is Vince Hawkins," Tommy introduced
himself.
Sandy gently rubbed Tommy's head with her hand. "I'm Sandy, Brandon's girlfriend."
Tommy was an outgoing child. After exchanging greetings with Sandy, he pulled her towards his room.
Sandy didn't refuse and followed Tommy into his room.
Just as Tommy and Sandy walked away, Maya came out from inside the house. "Hey, where's Sandy?"
She directed the question at Brandon.
Brandon replied, "She went inside Tommy's room."
Maya didn't say much and nodded. "Didn't your brother say you had something to do and would be
home later? Why did you suddenly come back?"
Brandon explained, "I finished handling the matter early and had Berton take care of the rest."
Maya nodded again. "Since you're here, let's get ready together."
Brandon asked, "Do you need any help?"
Maya waved her hand. "No need, you can just sit here for a while. We'll handle it."
"Is Sandy feeling unwell?" Aunt Jillian suddenly looked at Brandon and asked.
Upon hearing Aunt Jillian's question, Brandon replied, "No, there's nothing to worry about."
"You've lost a lot of weight compared to before. When are you planning to go to Manches City?" Aunt
Jillian inquired.
Brandon furrowed his brow. "Mom, let's discuss this matter later."
Previously, Brandon had considered going to Manches City, but various circumstances made him
hesitate. While going to Manches City wasn't difficult, settling down there would require reestablishing
connections and dealing with many uncertainties.
So, for now, Brandon put the idea on hold.
"What does it have to do with us being here? Sandy is in Manches City, and she only has one sister
here. Do you want to separate Sandy from her sister in the future?" Aunt Jillian questioned.
Brandon frowned. "Mom, I will talk to Sandy about this later. Please don't worry."
Aunt Jillian wanted to say something more, but Yanis spoke up at the right moment. "Aunt Jillian,
Sandy's current job also requires frequent traveling. There's no rush."
After hearing Yanis' words, Aunt Jillian whispered, "It will eventually settle down."
Brandon stated, "I will discuss it with Sandy later and make a suitable decision."
Aunt Jillian nodded. "Alright, talk to Sandy first."
During the meal, Aunt Jillian kept serving food to Sandy, encouraging her to eat more.
In truth, Sandy ate a lot, but she just didn't gain weight. Maybe it was because she had been conscious
of maintaining her figure and had developed a habit of restraint. Even when she ate more, she could
still maintain her weight through exercise, sometimes even losing a bit.
"Hey, eat more so you can gain weight and look good," Aunt Jillian said softly.
Sandy responded, "I eat a lot, but I just don't gain weight."
"Brandon should cook delicious food for you in the future. He's quite skilled in the kitchen," Maya
added.
