I love you till the end, Mr. Buenavista

DREAM

CHAPTER 59: DREAM

Zachary awoke to a series of knocks on the door of his car. When he saw who was knocking on his door, he even frowned. He immediately checked his watch, which was past three o’clock.

“Cadden, what’s the deal with sleeping in your car? Do you realize I’ve been at your door for an hour now?” As he opened the passenger seat, Samarra asked a series of questions.

What was happening to him was still a mystery because it wasn’t what he was dreaming about.

Hour?

He immediately checked his watch and returned his gaze to the person he was speaking with, realizing that it had only been three forty-five of those moments, implying that he had fallen asleep for half an hour despite Samarra’s exaggeration at times. He was almost alone in the parking lot at the same time.

“Do you realize it’s not a good idea to sleep in the car, Cadden?” Samarra’s words were muffled in his mind as if he were speaking in hushed tones. The only thought that enters his mind is that he was merely a recent dream.

“Cadden, are you listening to” Samarra was about to say something else when she noticed Zachary’s lip wound was still relatively fresh.

“Can you tell me what happened to your lips?” Samarra couldn’t stop herself from touching Zachary’s lip.

Déjà vu

When Samarra’s finger touched Zachary’s lip, he swallowed. And he believes she will squeeze it like his dream. As a result, he braced himself and turned a blind eye.

“What’s the deal with your squinting? What happened to your lips? I’m curious?”

Zachary had lost his vision and could only look out the window before being blown away by the wind.

Samarra had no idea how to be as sweet as his dream. Because of his embarrassment, he didn’t know whether to laugh or not. He expects a kiss from Samarra, but Samarra appears to be unsure of what he wants.

He shook his head. He thought Samarra was clever, but he was mistaken. With astonishment, he scratched his neck and returned his gaze to Samarra’s face. With a slight pity, he looked at Samarra’s lips.

Fuck! In his mind, he was cheap. He was no longer able to think clearly.

When Samarra noticed Zachary swallowing while staring at her, she frowned. She was mistaken because he was looking at her with her lips closed.

“W-we-wait.”

Samarra quickly put both hands on Zachary’s hard chest without bringing his face close to hers.

When Zachary pressed their foreheads together, Samarra almost whispered, “What’s wrong with you?”

That’s why Samarra’s breathing came to a stop.

“Allow me to kiss you?”

Samarra was taken aback by what he heard. What exactly is a kiss?

“Kiss?” she inquired, unsure if she had correctly heard what he had said.

Samarra even suppressed Zachary’s sudden grip on his waist as he nodded.

“Consent to kiss my wife?”

Samarra swallowed, and she couldn’t bear Zachary’s stare any longer, so she closed her eyes.

Zachary couldn’t help but swallow when he saw Samarra with her eyes closed. As he stared at Samarra, his heart rate suddenly increased.

He was sure he was in love with Samarra. He gently rubbed Samarra’s cheeks and moved his lips closer to hers. He gently kisses her and wishes to remember this moment because he is confident he loves Samarra. He ended their kiss when he couldn’t control himself, and they went beyond what should not have happened.

“Let’s go, Cadden. Aren’t we still out shopping?”

Samarra nodded when she realized Zachary had no plans to act, and she was disgusted by how he looked at her.

“Can’t we just go to the store?”

Samarra frowned and looked out the window quickly. She didn’t know what to say because she was afraid Zachary’s rude kiss would shatter her lips when they got home. She didn’t complain because she liked those, but they only went out once, and she also wanted to buy a cellphone.

Samarra scratched her neck and looked at him. Because his face was so close to hers, she wanted to be sorry.

“Cadden.”

“I-”

They were distracted and exchanged glances as they turned to the cell phone, which was still ringing. Because the cellphone flipped the placement, Samarra couldn’t see who was calling Zachary.

“Answer that,” she said to Zachary as she noticed him not intending to answer his phone. Zachary’s face was revolting.

“What made you turn off your phone?” Samarra inquired, surprised, having just looked at his cellphone and turned it off.

Zachary just shook his head and smiled.

“Can we go home now?”

“Cadden?!”

Samarra is unsure whether she will be happy or not. Zachary will always be quick and erratic. Samarra dislikes Zachary’s tendency to be uncertain and impulsive, but she promises to stick by his side as long as he doesn’t leave her. For how long? She had no idea.

They said that love moves in mysterious ways.

She shook her head and smiled.

Love? She may have feelings for her husband, but something inside her is unsure. She is uncertain of Zachary’s feelings for her and is afraid to ask questions for fear of embarrassment and making a mistake.

Did she feel the fear of knowing the truth in her life?

She returned her gaze to Zachary as if he, too, was thinking something.

She noticed Zachary sigh while holding her hand before starting the car. They were silent until they arrived at Somera’s Supermarket. Because Zachary’s silence was remarkable, Samarra said nothing.

Before getting out of the car, Samarra put on a facemask and eyeglasses from her bag. She took a step forward to walk, with Zachary close behind. She shrugged Zachary’s mood swing even more than the menstruating woman.

She took out a large pushcart to buy the necessities, and she took the grocery list that Jazz had made for her from the bag.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

Samarra looked behind him as he walked inside the supermarket. Zachary also pushed a small cart with items in it while her carriage was empty. She has no idea where to begin looking for meat or vegetables.

“Can you make it quickly, Ara? You stood there as if you didn’t know what kind of harvest you’d get. Don’t you have a list? You also have a pen in your hand. Get them listed there so we can go home.”

Samarra tried not to be annoyed by what Zachary said as if he wanted to go home.

“You should go home if you want to go home.” She didn’t wait for Zachary to respond.

“Zachary!”

When she heard Zachary’s name in the distance, Samarra immediately turned around.
