I love you till the end, Mr. Buenavista

SHE’S BACK

Samarra and Zachary looked behind them. When Samarra noticed who was approaching them, she was shocked. Samarra quickly yanked her hand away from Zachary as she turned away.

She could feel the warmth in her eye. She might have shed tears in front of them that she could still hold back in those moments if she hadn’t left. She didn’t know how to react in those situations. She seemed to be consumed by jealousy right now. She couldn’t bear seeing Zachary suffer as a result of her presence.

Even before Samarra could get far, someone stopped her arms, causing her to stop walking.

“Where are you going?” Zachary asked her sternly. She couldn’t turn around to face him. She bit her lower lip and took a deep breath.

“Ara?”

Zachary forced her to face him, so she bowed even more. She didn’t know what to do in this situation. She had never been in a relationship; the first man she let into her life was Ezekiel, but he never became her boyfriend. On the other hand, Zachary only became her husband due to a family agreement.

“Please, Ara, look at me?”

Samarra nodded when she heard Zachary’s voice, which seemed to be pleading with her to look at him.

“Babe, who is she?”

Zachary stood in front of Samarra, holding both of her shoulders. The woman was already on their side. Even if Samarra only sees shoes. She could feel the tension building between the three of them as if the entire parking lot had shrunk to them.

“Babe?”

Samarra looked up as she swallowed, Zachary’s gaze not leaving her as the woman held Zachary’s shoulder, her face puzzled and full of astonishment. Perhaps she makes her wonder who she is and why Zachary is holding her hand?

“Who is she, Babe?”

The woman’s tone indicated that she was already annoyed by Zachary’s silence, so Samarra could only smile at her. Zachary’s brow furrowed even more.

Doesn’t Zachary want her to talk to the woman?

Samarra, perhaps you should introduce yourself as your wife. Remember, that was your husband’s girlfriend, and she sighed as she reminded herself.

“I’m Samarra, his cousin.”

Zachary’s jaw clenched, and he tightened his grip on his shoulder before glancing at the woman next to them.

“She’s my wife, Claudel, and please excuse us.”

Zachary grabbed Samarra’s arm tightly and pulled her back to where they had left the car earlier.

“Cadd-”

“Stop talking!”

Zachary’s sudden yell startled Samarra. Others passing by were staring at them. She bit her lower lip so hard that her tears stopped flowing. Zachary just yelled at her like that.

“Get in.”

She raised her eyes to Zachary before turning her gaze to the car door in front of her. She had no choice but to enter and sit. She was still shaken by the significant fall and closed the door in her customary manner. She raised her head and took a deep breath to relax. She appears to require a great deal of patience and reminds herself.

“Cadd-”

When she got into the car, she tried to talk to Zachary, but her words were cut short when Zachary raised one hand and motioned for her to be quiet.

She nodded and averted her gaze.

The pain in her heart was palpable. Even though Zachary did not deny her to his girlfriend, she sensed his rage towards her.

Maybe Zachary has second thoughts about introducing her to his wife in front of his girlfriend. She, too, was insecure, not because of Claudel’s physical appearance but because she was his wife’s girlfriend.

“Fuck!”

As Zachary curses and slams the steering wheel, Samarra closes her eyes. She grabbed his arm as he drove even faster.

“Slow down, Cadden,” she pleaded. He followed, despite not looking away.

When they arrived, Zachary got out of the car and went straight to the house.

Samarra clasped her hand and tried to hold back her tears.

Samarra, calm down and stop crying. You’re brave and strong, aren’t you? She was still persuading herself. She exhaled deeply before descending and following Zachary inside the house.

She was surprised when Zachary grabbed her and leaned against the door as soon as she entered the house.

“W-what are you up to?” She stuttered and rested her hand on Zachary’s shoulder.

“How come, Ara?” She looked at Zachary, perplexed; she had no idea what he meant.

“Do you have to tell me we’re cousins?”Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

SAmarra gulped. “Are you upset because I informed your girlfriend that we are cousins?”

“Yes! Because we are not cousins.”

She was aware of it.

Why did she forget that Zachary didn’t want anyone to know about their meeting or marriage? Shaken and bitterly smiling

“You’re supposed to thank me for saving your a$$. Asshole.”

She could see Zachary’s face darkening as he pressed against her waist. His brows drew a line in anger as his eyes narrowed.

“What exactly did you say? Ara, you know nothing, and watch your language.”

Despite her fears, she forced herself to remain calm.

She looked him in the eyes. She couldn’t show Zachary how scared she was.

“I gave it my all for you. Isn’t that Claudel? Your beautiful girlfriend. I won’t mind if you continue your relationship with her, but please don’t interfere with mine.”

She grabbed his arm and wrapped it tightly around her waist like iron.

“Do you want me to keep my relationship with my girlfriend?” She bravely met Zachary’s gaze and softly nodded.

“You love her, don’t you? Go on. I won’t intervene as long as you don’t do anything that will bring my name into disrepute since we’re married,” she said, raising both hands on his chest to push and flee.
