SPECIAL CHAPTER
AFTER THREE YEARS
“Are you not coming to my graduation?” Samarra cried while conversing with Cadden on the skyline apps.
“I’m sorry, love; I’ve been hectic. I am in charge of both your boutique and the O’Harra Empire. Your father was a strict mentor. Please… don’t cry, “Zachary pleaded with difficulty. She averted her gaze to wipe the tears from her eyes.
“But you promised me, didn’t you?” Samarra inquired as if she were a child whose parent had failed to deliver the promised toy.
“Love?!” Zachary uttered these words with difficulty as he looked at her without pausing to wipe away her tears.
“Don’t worry; I’m just sleepy. I’m going to end this call.”
Samarra ended the call without waiting for Zachary to respond because she was unsure if she could tell him that was fine when the truth is that she was not.
Her graduation is tomorrow, and they’ve been talking about him coming home for a long time, but she’s not sure why he suddenly changed his mind that he can’t go home before;
Zachary used to come home whenever he wanted, but now he’ll tell her he’s busy.
His a$$ is always busy!
She promised herself she would never call him again. She drew the comforter over her head and forced herself to sleep because she didn’t want to look bad the next day.
When Samarra awoke the next day, the sun was high in the sky. Her head hurt from crying all the time. She sat and leaned against the headboard, smelling herself. She also meditated for a few minutes before being compelled to stand.
Their graduation ceremony will take place at The House of Montserrat Film. Because it’s a bit far, Samarra decided to eat downstairs before taking a shower. She has learned to eat a lot in the morning. She was rushed to the hospital last year because she constantly skipped meals, which worried Zachary greatly.
Her husband came home to look after her for a few days. Zachary also told her to stop intermittent fasting because she doesn’t eat heavy foods. After all, she didn’t want him to come home because she was always in the hospital.
She cleaned and washed her dishes after eating before returning to her room to shower. She exited the bathroom and went straight to the walk-in closet, where she chose a peach vintage-length dress that Zachary had sent her from Paris the day before. He stated that this is what he intends to wear to her graduation.
Later, Manang Tessie peeked in to inform her that Frankie had arrived and who was now making her makeup.
Since Zachary’s leaving, some people have been staying in their homes. Because Zachary does not want her to be alone at home, Mommy Lorraine and Daddy Calvin invite her to move in with them, but she refuses because she prefers to remain where Zachary left her.
“Hi! Madam, “Frankie greeted her with a smile that included his friends, whom she referred to as Frankie n’ friends.
“Hi! Please come in,” she told them.
“Gosh! What you’re going to wear, Madam, is stunning,” Claire exclaimed in awe as she examined her gown.
“It’s my husband’s gift,” she said quickly, much to their delight.
Claire and Izzah did her manicure and pedicure, Salome did her hair, and Frankie did her makeup.
Samarra woke up when Frankie tapped her on the cheek. He was smiling at her as if he was glad to see her.
“I’m sorry, I took a nap,” she apologized to them.
“It’s okay, Madam,” Frankie said understandingly, assisting her standing. Claire and Izzah accompanied her to help put on her dress so her makeup would not be ruined and stick.
Frankie hugged her goodbye as soon as she was dressed.
She returned to the walk-in closet to get the necklace Zachary had given her on her 19th birthday.
She examined herself in the mirror.
Samarra was undeniably beautiful, and she left as soon as she was satisfied.
Samarra frowned as she walked down the stairs and noticed Ezekiel sitting in front of the living room, reading a magazine.
“Where is my gift?” she inquired, extending her hand in front of Ezekiel.
“Gift? Why is it your birthday?” Ezekiel inquired, frowning.
When Ezekiel’s ability upsets her mood, she takes a deep breath to calm down. She had a bad day yesterday because of Zachary, and now Ezekiel has managed to make it even worse.
“Let’s go, Kiel,” she said, ignoring her irritation. She didn’t want to bring the bad energy to her graduation ceremony. Her parents will not attend her graduation because they are too busy, and her husband will not return home either.
She couldn’t speak to Ezekiel or Jazz, who greeted her until they reached the hall. Her mind is already planning a trip to Europe after she graduates.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
She’ll be swamped.
Samarra didn’t understand the graduation ceremony until Jazz touched her and asked her to stand up to accept the Summa Cum Laude award at this year’s graduation. She tried to hold back tears as she walked onto the stage, feeling that Ezekiel’s presence was insufficient. She is still on the lookout for her husband.
When she accepted the award, she tried to smile and said something to those who would graduate today like her.
“To my fellow graduates,” she advised.
“Never stop growing, never stop pushing yourself, never stop dreaming, never trying new things, and always be brave like a soldier in an epic battle.”
Samarra sighed and looked around as she returned to her seat, hoping Zachary would appear for her, but she was disappointed.
After their commencement,
Samarra couldn’t smile because Ezekiel said goodbye because he had an important meeting, so Ezekiel didn’t take her home, which irritated her even more because he didn’t even insist on taking her.
What a wonderful day!
She didn’t hesitate when a taxi offered to take her to Villa Escaler. While driving, she tried to call Jameson’s cell phone, now Zachary’s assistant in Australia, but his line was out of service, which irritated her even more.
Samarra frowned when she noticed they were passing by something different, but she didn’t say anything, assuming the driver had taken a shortcut.
“Hmm… Excuse me, it doesn’t seem like this is the way,” she said, noting that the driver appeared to be directing her.
“Ma’am, let’s pass on the other side to save time,” the driver said softly, his voice changing.
“Ah… okay,” she said, shaking off the thought that she was being paranoid. She picked up the phone again to see if Zachary had a message, but there was none.
When Samarra smelled something fragrant, she was about to see the driver, but it was too late because her vision was blurring, and she was gradually engulfed in darkness.
Samarra awoke cold, trying to figure out where she was, but only darkness greeted her. She became nervous when she remembered she had just been in a taxi.
Kidnapping?
She groped herself because that was the first thing that came to mind. She was surprised because she wasn’t even tied, even though her foot could move freely. When she realized she wasn’t wearing anything on her body, her eyes rolled like that. She swallowed and instinctively felt her body for any unusual sensations, but there were none, so she breathed a sigh of relief.
She carefully got out of bed and walked like a thief, afraid of waking the house’s owner. She was walking and holding her breath when someone suddenly grabbed her hand, which she clutched tightly, and she stopped when someone kissed her passionately.
Samarra was stunned when she finally felt the familiar kiss she had been searching for so long. Her hand gripped both of his arms, reaching up to his shoulders.
“Love?” she asked, double-checking that she was touching Zachary.
“I love you,” he said softly, causing her to cry.
“I hate you,” she said, making him laugh as if he expected her to respond.
“I love you even more.”
Zachary pressed his lips against hers once more, more firmly and authoritatively. She retaliated with equal ferocity. His hands moved over her, squeezing her boobs and causing her to moan.
The next day, Samarra awoke with pain all over her body due to Zachary’s repeated claims that he had not forgiven her even though it was her first time. Zachary claims her every time she wakes up. He sapped all of her energy; she couldn’t do anything but let him do what he wanted.
She is aware that he, too, waited a long time before picking her cherry.
Samarra lowered her foot to the floor and winced from the pain in her middle.
She struggled to stand because she could hear water splashing. She paced through the thick curtains that covered the entire room, clutching the comforter to her body.
When she took it off, she was astounded to see the blue sky reflected in the sea. Samarra could see the ocean from where she was, so she knew they were up there.
“Do you enjoy it?” As his hand wrapped around her waist, Zachary whispered to her.
“Yeah, I like it a lot,” she agreed, leaning her head against his chest and gazing out at the idyllic setting.
“This is Isla Amara, our island.”
She returned her gaze to Zachary, who was staring at her intently. She could see different emotions in his eyes.
“Isla Amara?”
“Isla Amara” means “Everlasting.”
“Everlasting?”
“Yeah, like my love for you, everlasting.”
Zachary was claiming her lips repeatedly the next thing she knew.
