Chapter 13: His Well-Dressed Appearance

Chapter 13: His Well-Dressed Appearance

Her lips, wet with moisture, glistened under the light.

After she drank about half the cup of water, Chow suddenly put the cup aside and lifted her up from her

seat.

Vivian cried out in a soft voice and held onto his neck in a panic. "Brother Chow!"

She paled as she shook her head nervously. "No, it's getting late!" Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

"So what?" Chow's eyes flickered impatiently.

As long as he wanted her, he didn't care whether it was day or night.

Vivian trembled slightly. "Sister Celine... Sister Celine will find out," she said.

Although she didn't want to mention Celine's name, she still had to remind him.

She didn't expect that her words would upset him again.

Chow grunted coldly and let go of her. "Who would've thought that you'd be a bit better than your

mother and know how to feel shameful!"

Although Chow's words were unpleasant, Vivian still found herself sighing in relief.

Chow quickly noticed her relaxed expression.

The smile on his face was soon replaced with disdain. "But just like your mother, you make me feel

disgusted!" he said with a cold snort.

Chow suddenly stood up and walked back into the wardrobe, slamming the door loudly behind him.

...

Bang!

...

The sound hit Vivian straight in the heart.

When she woke up again, the sky was already bright.

Looking at the bright sun outside the window, no one would think of the fallen flowers that had been

torn apart by the storm last night.

Vivian blinked her eyes softly, feeling confused.

"Miss, if you don't get up soon, you'll be late for school." Aunt Blaine's voice came from outside the

door.

Vivian suddenly came to her senses and looked at the alarm clock on the bedside. She exclaimed

loudly and quickly sat up from the bed.

She had been so frightened by the storm that she'd forgotten to set the alarm clock last night.

No wonder she hadn't heard any ringing sound since falling asleep.

"I'll be right there!" Vivian quickly pulled on her slippers and went into the bathroom to wash up. Then,

she changed into the school uniform Aunt Blaine had prepared and left outside the door before going

downstairs in a hurry.

It was nearly an hour later than her usual waking time. Her classmates had long felt dissatisfied with

her skipping first period every day. If she was late for the next, she would inevitably get ridiculed.

She had long been immune to their mocking, however, she still did not like the feeling of entering the

classroom late with everyone's eyes on her.

That was why Vivian headed right for the door with her schoolbag after rushing down the stairs instead

of going into the dining hall as usual.

But just as she turned around the corner, she felt a deep sense of regret in her heart.

At that moment, Chow and Celine were both standing at the door, their mouths passionately interlocked

together.

Chow was also holding Celine tightly in his arms. If it weren't for his well-dressed appearance, Vivian

wouldn't believe that he was actually preparing to go to work.

"Miss, don't be in such a hurry. Take your breakfast with you!" Vivian was still staring at the two people

at the door when Aunt Blaine's voice suddenly came from behind her.
