Chapter 33 Dare or Not?
Chapter 33 Dare or Not?
Atlas was calm as he said indifferently, "Keep watching."
Ruben nodded, rolling his eyes at Joseph as if he was looking at a fool and said, "It's not the end yet.
Why are you so excited?"
Joseph sneered and said, "Let's see how long can you be in denial. Now two-thirds of it has been cut. If
there was something, it would have come out long ago!"
"Green, it's green!"
Just as Joseph finished speaking, someone suddenly shouted.
At the last moment, the rough stone finally turned green again, and it was a deepest green.
"How is that possible!" Joseph was dumbfounded.
Tobias clenched his fists and looked at the scene in disbelief.
"This, this is simply counterintuitive!" Magician Bill exclaimed in shock.
Ruben just gaped and stared at the stone in a daze.
The cutting was finished. It was a highest-grade Imperial Green Emerald.
Although it was only the size of an egg, it was absolutely priceless.
The host was stunned, and then he suddenly shouted, "The value of this stone has been multiplied
Congratulations, sir!"
"Last time, someone sold this kind of top-class Imperial Green gem for 17 million. This one is obviously
twice as big as the last one, at least 30 million!"
"Humph, 30 million? You underestimate the value of it. Although this one is only twice as big as the last
one, the price is at least five times higher!"
"You mean, about 85 million?"
"Yes, if it was processed by a jewelry master, its value should be doubled!"
"Oh my god, this kid has made a fortune!"
Ruben was so happy and almost drooled, and the cigar in his hand fell to the ground.
"Ahahaha! Top class Imperial Green! Holy mama!"
"Joseph Lee, you idiot, have you seen it clearly? Are you convinced now?" Ruben was so proud that he
directly swagged on the spot.
Many people there wanted to give him a good beating.
Joseph suddenly sat on a chair with a dull look on the face. "How could this be? He's so damn lucky!"
Gavin was also dumbfounded. He stared blankly at the dancing Ruben and muttered, "Fucking nuts!"
Only Tobias looked at Atlas seriously with disbelief in his eyes.
Ruben excitedly took back the top-grade gem and held it in his arms almost affectionately.
Someone on the spot made an offer to Ruben. "Young man, I'll give you 50 million yuan for this gem.
Can you sell it to me?"
Ruben rolled his eyes and sneered, "Do you think I'm short of money?"
His words immediately made the man blush.
Looking at Ruben, Joseph was swollen with anger. If they hadn't been fooled by Ruben, this gemstone
would have been his.
"Shit, it must be Atlas Lincoln's idea. It's all his fault!" Joseph didn't dare to provoke Ruben, so he could
only vent all his anger on Atlas.
Seeing that Atlas had been sitting there silently, Joseph suddenly sneered and said, "Atlas Lincoln, we
agreed to play a big game together, but you didn't even offer a price once. You dare not play the game,
or you can't afford it?"
Ruben scowled at Joseph and shouted, "What the hell do you know? Atlas doesn't like these stones,
which was why he didn't make a bidding! Not like you, who knows nothing and bought a bunch of craps
back home."
Ruben couldn't careless that he was hitting right at Joseph's sore spot. Every word he said could make
Joseph explode of rage.
Joseph suppressed his anger and ignored Ruben. He stared at Atlas and sneered, "Although the
auction is over, there are still many rough stones here. Do you dare play with me?"
Atlas glanced at him indifferently, and his eyes were cold. "How do you want to play?"
Joseph's face darkened as he inwardly cursed, "It's all your fault for causing me to lose more than ten
million today. Fucking bastard, this is not over!"
Joseph rolled his eyes and immediately came up with an idea. "There are a lot of rough stones outside.
Let's choose one each. Whoever selects the rough stone of higher value, he wins. Deal?"
Atlas asked, "What if I win?"
Joseph snorted, "How about the loser kowtow to the winner in public and beg for mercy?"
Tobias frowned and stopped him. "Joseph, calm down!"
Joseph had suffered multiple blows. At this moment, he had nowhere to vent his anger. He couldn't
afford to provoke Ruben, so he could only blame everything on Atlas.
Even Tobias' persuasion was useless now.
"Mr. Morrison, don't worry about me. This time, I must teach this guy a lesson!" Joseph said fiercely. Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
"Deal." Atlas' expression remained calm, as if he didn't care about Joseph at all.
What was strange was that the usually talkative Ruben Kimmerly actually sat there and looked at the
gems without saying a word.
"Please be our witness." Joseph turned to the host on the stage and said.
"It's my honor!" Of course, the host was willing.
They walked to the pile of rough stones together.
Evelyn looked at Atlas worriedly. However, in front of Joseph and the others, she was too embarrassed
to remind Atlas Lincoln.
Viviana and Shelly were both on Joseph's side, hoping that Atlas would lose.
"You pick first!" Joseph pointed at Atlas.
Atlas glanced at it and pointed to the third row of rough stone, which looked ordinary. "That's it."
Joseph laughed. Originally, he was worried that Atlas might actually know something about stone
gambling, but now when he saw the rough stone that Atlas chose, he was relieved.
"Are you sure?" Joseph asked.
Atlas looked at the host who came along and said, "Open it!"
The host looked at the price of the rough stone and said, "Sir, although the rough stone you chose is
not very good, it costs 10,000. Have you thought about it?"
Without saying a word, Atlas directly waved the Violet Gold Card at him. "I'm buying it."
"Sir, don't misunderstand me. That's not what I meant. I'll have the stone cut for you." The host's have
keen eyes. He knew that the Violet Gold Card was unusual by a glance at it.
The host smiled and said to Joseph, "Sir, it's your turn."
Joseph carefully look through the stones, then pointed to the strange-shaped rough stone and said,
"This one."
"The price of this piece is 60,000. Have you decided, sir?" Said the host.
"Just open it!"
"Atlas Lincoln, you are bound to lose!" Joseph's face was full of mockery, as if he was 100% certain
about it.
Atlas didn't say a word, but Ruben sneered, "Joseph, you idiot, be prepared to kowtow to Atlas and beg
for mercy!"
"Actually, there's something I forgot to tell you. The first and the second rough stones were all thanks to
Atlas' guidance. Otherwise, I would've bought them."
"Even the things I said about the third stone were taught by Atlas. So, if you think that Atlas doesn't
know about stone gambling and wants to use that to take advantage of him, then you've made a big
mistake!"
Joseph felt dizzy all of a sudden. He staggered and almost fell down.
"What did you say? It was all Atlas' advice just now?" Joseph looked at Ruben in horror.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Joseph suddenly had the urge to risk his life against Ruben.
Gavin also looked incredulous.
Shelly took Viviana's arm and kept shaking it. "Viviana, how is this possible? Didn't you say that Atlas
doesn't know anything about stone gambling?"
Viviana was also confused. She looked at Atlas' back, perplexed.
"How is this possible? When did he learn stone gambling?"
