Trying to get some sleep and it’s not even funny at all, it’s a serious struggle. Can’t get Lily out of my head; the fact that she chose to stand there and do nothing was heartbreaking. I turned to the other side of the bed and could see my balcony from there, it only reminded me of how much she was a fan of great views. I turned back and forced myself to sleep. It was not easy but it had to come somehow.

Lily was standing at the doorway, she had on very transparent nightwear. I could see the red thong she wore inside, perfectly giving her ass a good raise. She looked very attractive.

“Ready to sleep, babe?” She asked as she walked towards the bed, seducing me and taking off the cover nightwear which was the only thing that stood between her body and the air in the room.

She laughed and started kissing me from my legs to my lap slowly crawling on top of me, reaching my lap and kissing me passionately. I was so lost and couldn’t think about anything else except how much I wanted her. When she got to my thighs, all the hair on my body stood, and I froze. She kept going until she reached my balls. “You’re a real party pooper you know”

“Yea, I do. We don’t want to go there now, do we?”

I did but I didn’t mind anyway.

“I can’t believe we’re getting married tomorrow Cayden, after so long, it’s a dream come true” She looked at me and smiled, kissing my breasts and twirling her tongue around the nipples, coming up to my neck and kissing my lips. I was so in love with her.

My brain was still in shock from the action going on, in my body. A minute later, I realized she mentioned us getting married tomorrow… Married? How? When did I propose?

I jerked back to reality and realized I’d been dreaming this whole time. If only I could live in that dream world, it seemed to have everything I wanted; Lily.

I decided to not focus on her anymore. It was a complete and total waste of time. My work needed my attention and that’s just about what I’m going to do.

Lily

Ever since the incident with the two men in my life, I’ve realized that Jake hasn’t been what I needed exactly. He wasn’t making things work, everything was so hard for him. It was easier with Cayden.

“Why do you want to be with me so early? Don’t you think it’s rushed? What’s the reason?” I asked Jake one faithful day

“Why would you ask something like that Lily? You know we’re meant to be together, you’ve always been the one for me. You can see fate brought us back together, isn’t that enough proof baby?” He looked into my eyes

“Don’t jinx it baby by thinking too much” He kissed my forehead and walked away.

What the fuck have I done?!?!?!

The competition drew closer and closer, making me nervous but anxious at the same time. I used all my spare time to practice as much as I could. Jake wasn’t helping in any way. He would come up to my workplace and say so much trash that my spirit would be so low. It was so discouraging

“I don’t know why we’re putting so much time and energy into this, come hang out with me at the bar this evening. Don’t worry about the competition, it won’t help your self-worth. You should be more invested in trying to make this relationship work.” He says.

Who encourages people like that? Some crazy shit. I know how much work I’ve put into this competition, and nothing is going to compromise it for me, not even this so-called relationship.

After the morning rush, Jake came into my shop

“Hey Lily, how are you?”

“I’m good, surprised to see you this early”

“Yea just came to check up on you. Nothing else.”

“Okay.”

“Where’s Jacek?”

“He’s right here” I pointed to the little man right beside me. Jake came over to carry him and started playing with him. Jacek wasn’t a fan of Jake so, he was not enthusiastic about seeing him.

“I’m gonna take you and your mama out of here and take you to travel the world,” He told Jake

“But I like it here”

“There’s more to see out there little man and I’ll show you someday”

He kept making promises to my son; promises that were no good to me. He dropped Jacek and walked towards me.

“Hey Lily, can you borrow me some money? I’ll give it back as soon as possible”

My ears stood, never thought I’d see the day. I gave him anyway, out of the goodness of my heart and he left.

He came back other times to ask for money and it was getting worse. I kept giving him because it seemed like he was in dire need of it. I shouldn’t have because it started eating into my business money.

My job was bringing so much profit and I was proud of the hard work I’d put in.

I went out for a stroll and met one of my long-lost friends, Quinn.

“Quinn, it’s been a while.” I laughed as we hugged. It was so good to see him.

“I know a place nearby where we could catch up, let me take you there”

“Okay then”

When we got there, I realized it was Lily’s place. Omg, it’s been a while. I miss her.

“Hey, is Lily around?” I asked one of the workers

“No Sir, she stepped out”

Such a shame.

“Let’s sit on the patio, outside… You look so different though, what’s going on?” Quinn asked
