Chapter 494 Damien

Before Clarissa left the front desk, the receptionist passed her a name card, which she absentmindedly

placed into her bag.

When she got to Seth’s room, he opened the door for her.

Seth was very tall. In his glasses, he looked like a scholar; very professional, giving off a sense of

accountability. He also looked very charismatic and capable in a learned way.

“You’re here.” Seth was only wearing a white shirt.

“Yeah.”

The way the two spoke was not distant at all, as if they had seen each other just yesterday. There was

“I found some information. Come in and we can have a look together.” Seth then hit the Play/Pause

button on what was playing on the TV.

The TV was displaying some photos and videos.

“These are all pictures of Iris and Victor Benson. Victor has been sick recently. Rather, he’s always

shaking it instead.

“Go on,” Seth said.

When she got back to her room, Clarissa was utterly exhausted. She went to the bathroom for a

shower, but couldn’t focus her mind at all. Even though it was late, she suddenly wasn’t sleepy

anymore. Memories of three years ago invaded her mind one by one.

She was depressed and frazzled. Iris had been pressuring her constantly, leaving her breathless.

Clarissa only liked Damien in the past, and even then, it wasn’t a bone-deep love. Despite that, what he

had done to her family was completely unforgivable. Her studies had been even more challenging.

Because she only had a year to study for her doctorate in Lotharia, she had to become adept in
