Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 400

Chapter 400 Just The kids? “Hello, Mrs. Fur? I got your number from my brother, and I know it‘d be

dangerous to give birth to babies with your health condition. There‘s no need to worry about me. You

may go ahead with giving birth to his baby. I quit!” It was Clarissa‘s voice.

“Aren‘t you Mrs. Lawrence? I‘m not here to ruin people‘s marriage, that‘s against my morality.Lucy tried

to fake her kindness. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

She knew the kinder she was, the guiltier Clarissa would be.

“I divorced him a long time ago, anyway.” Clarissa hung up immediately.

“Who is it?” Iris asked Lucy.

“It was Clarissa. She asked me to give birth to Damien‘s babies,” Lucy said. “I used Luke and made

him tell Clarissa about me being pregnant. Honestly, I was expecting a bigger reaction.”

Iris burst in waves of laughter.

“She fell into the trap! She must be suffering so much!” Iris continued cackling like a wicked witch. “I did

it!” It was already eight in the evening when Clarissa reached home. In truth, she was still skeptical

about Lucy‘s pregnancy. But since everyone around her was saying the same thing, Clarissa had no

choice but to believe that lie.

All of a sudden, she felt emotionally overwhelmed.

She wanted to leave everything and just focus on her studies.

When she returned, it was to find Patrick and Vanessa sitting on the couch.

Patrick reminded her of the recording

Her dearest mother had to give up on her life, yet here Patrick was, still sitting so comfortably.

“You‘re late.” Damien was in the room when Clarissa arrived.

“You burned my clothes, so I had to go shopping,” Clarissa said calmly.

However, Damien knew something was off.

“What is it?”

“Nothing, I just feel sad that I have to leave tomorrow. I‘ll miss Neil so much.”

“Just Neil?”

Clarissa stopped for a second before saying, “You too.”

“I bought you some things, too. Take them with you tomorrow.” Damien said, pointing at the table.

“Okay.” Clarissa nodded, though she said nothing more.

“I‘m a call away if anything happens.”

“Okay.” “I‘ll call you if anything happens.” “Okay.” All of a sudden, Damien was long–winded like a

worried parent. But Clarissa only responded with the same answer. “Get a new place, too. The place

you have now is too small. I gave you a lot of money, so use it wisely.” It was as if Damien was trying to

say that the place would be too small for him if he ever came.

“Okay.”

At night, he made love to Clarissa multiple times. However, Clarissa never said a word to him. Despite

her exhaustion, she woke up early and bid farewell to her son.

She tried to hold back her tears and not show any expression.

Nobody knew what she was thinking. Damien didn‘t follow Clarissa to the airport. He didn‘t want to

watch Clarissa leave. The sight would kill him. “Mrs. Lawrence… I didn’t expect Iris to be someone like

this. She‘s not my idol anymore!” Leah complained, filled with grief. “When will you be back?” “It

depends. Maybe twice a month?” Clarissa was looking out of the window the entire time.

Leah didn‘t find it strange, since Clarissa was leaving. Clarissa went through the security check, and

walked straight ahead without turning to look back.

Leah reported everything to Damien, not missing a single detail. “Mr. Lawrence, Mrs. Lawrence went

through the security check.” “Did she say anything?” Damien was in low spirits. Try as he might, he

couldn‘t soothe his bad mood. “No, nothing.”

Damien went silent for a few moments before muttering, “Alright.”
