Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 418

Chapter 418 Do You Like Her?

Caleb’s expression caught Damien‘s attention. Mrs. Faber had told Damien that even though there

were a lot of women writing letters expressing their love to Caleb, not even once had he reciprocated

their feelings. From the looks of it, it seemed Caleb wouldn’t settle for just anyone.

“Did you spot your crush?” Damien was sharp enough to gauge the entire situation.

“Yeah, she passed by the hall just now.”

“Oh, wow. Why didn‘t you go and say hi?” Damien joked.

“President Lawrence, stop making fun of me!” Caleb replied in a similarly joking tone. “How do you

know her? Was she your coursemate back when you were doing your undergraduate studies? Or do

you know her in your postgraduate course?” Perhaps his unexpected encounter with Clarissa today

made him unusually curious about Caleb‘s love life.

“She, uh, she‘s new here.” Caleb lowered his head. He was in a daze, apparently still mesmerized by

Clarissa’s beauty.

“Is she a first year student? Or did she just transfer to Florin to continue her postgraduate studies?”

Damien prodded further. Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

“President Lawrence, are you here to dig up information for my mother? I‘ll tell her myself the moment

she accepts my confession.”

“Oh, come on now. I‘m not going to do that. I‘m just curious, that‘s all.”

Caleb smiled.

His smile was so dazzling that it could mesmerize most women in the room.

Looking at his youthful appearance, Damien sighed and recalled how he used to look when he was as

young as Caleb.

All of a sudden, it dawned upon him that he was no longer a part of the younger generation

anymore.

As he was preoccupied with his thoughts, his phone rang and Ray‘s name appeared on the

screen.

Though Damien knew exactly what Ray was going to say, he still decided to pick up the phone.

“Damien, she didn‘t attend the meeting today.”

“I know.”

“How do you know?” Ray was confused. “Let’s talk when we’re back. I‘m having a meal with someone

right now.” Damien hung up right after he said that.

While cutting his steak, Damien thought, ‘She must’ve skipped the meeting to avoid bumping into me.’

With his mind wandering elsewhere, he didn’t pay much attention to his conversation with Caleb

afterwards.

After they finished their meal, Damien said before leaving, “Let me know when you get your

girl.”

“Sure! I‘ll even introduce her to you in person.”

Then, Damien left with Neil.

When they arrived at Grandpa‘s house, Ray was already there waiting for their arrival.

“Damien, what‘s with her? It‘s obvious she‘s avoiding you!” Ray said, his face filled with worry. “Can

you watch Neil for me? I have to shower.” Damien ignored Ray as he left. Ray was rendered

completely speechless. Neil was sitting on the sofa. When he noticed that Damien had entered the

bathroom, he asked, “Uncle Ray, do you know that pretty lady‘s phone number? I think Daddy likes her.

I want to help him win her heart.” Confused, Ray asked, “Who are you talking about? Damien? Falling

in love?” “I‘m talking about that pretty lady we bumped into at our door this evening.” Strange! How did

Damien know Clarissa didn‘t attend the meeting today? Did this have something to do with the woman

who showed up at their door today? Could Clarissa be the woman Neil was talking about? Aside from

her, Ray couldn‘t think of anybody else. The thought of Clarissa showing up at their door tiled him up.

As giddy as a child, Ray asked, “Neil, do you want to call that pretty lady? Do you know your father’s

password so we can unlock his phone?” Neil inched forward to his ear and whispered, “Yes, but you

can‘t let Daddy know about it. Keep it a secret, okay?”

“Okay, I promise. Call her now.”

Neil took one last look at the bathroom before inserting a password and dialing the phone number

given by Ray.

Ray had been quick enough to get his hands on Clarissa’s new number.
