It was him
It was him
Quinn had been having a rough day, and she just wanted to get home instantly. While she was on the road, she started making mental notes on how she's going to get into the bath the moment she gets home. A vague memory of how she used to go on car rides with Henry flashed in her head, and she cleared her throat uncomfortably. She was really missing him. If she could just... She pushed that thought aside, and she opened her door. When she got in, she threw the groceries that were in her right hand on the chair, and she ran to her room to do what she promised herself that she was going to do. Quinn entered the bathtub, and the moment her naked body touched the water inside the bathtub, a sigh escaped from her mouth. She closed her eyes tightly to feel the coolness of the water. It's really nice. She thought, and she still kept her eyes shut. A few minutes later, Quinn was finally done with her cool bath, and she went to her room to get ready for the night. She brought out some cute and pink pyjamas, and she slipped into them almost immediately. The night was still young, but Quinn was ready in bed with her iPad, browsing through it. She was watching random videos, and also reacting to posts, when she saw a picture of Henry flashed in front of her iPad. A Faso escaped from her mouth, and she had to go back to the previous page to see if her eyes weren't deceiving her. They weren't. It was really Henry. Quinn didn't know when she jumped from the bed, and started jumping around the room in excitement. She didn't think that she would ever see him, or even a picture of him. It was a really great moment for her, and she knew that a bottle of vodka wouldn't hurt to celebrate it. NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
She ran out of her room, and she went to the living room to grab the vodka. She did that, and grabbed a cup before running back to her room. The fact that she saw Henry was still shocking her somehow, and she just couldn't believe it. If it was true, then Quinn's life's about to change. After downing three cups already of the almost finished bottle of vodka, she poured another cup, and immediately took the edge of the cup to her mouth. She downed the cup...again, and she just wanted more instantly. Half drunkenly, she raised the bottle, and saw that it was almost finished. Because of that, she threw her galas cup away, and she took the bottle to her mouth, drinking directly from it. "Oh God..." Quinn said in her slurry state, and she took a big gulp again. She was already drunk, and didn't even know what she was doing. A minute later, the vodka was finished, and the bottle was lying down carelessly on the ground, a few steps away from her. Quinn didn't know why she was sitting on the floor, while crying like a weird, big baby, but she couldn't stop the tears anyway. She continued crying, allowing the hot, salty tears to just stream down her face without a care in the world about it. Seeing Henry's picture minutes ago brought back so many memories that she thought she had forgotten...buried, and moved on from it. The picture brought so many pictures of the both of them back, and she could only close her eyes to still feel the way his hot breath always brushed carelessly against her warm skin. God, I miss Henry. Quinn thought, and a few more tears escaped her eyes. Two minutes later, Quinn was finally done with crying, and without cleaning up the mess that she made with the glass cup, and the bottle, she went to bed. Before closing her eyes, she looked at the picture once again to take the excitement...and sadness in. For the first time in a while, she finally feels like her life is about to get better, and she knows that
she's going to see her Henry very soon. Quinn planted a soft kiss on her iPad screen, and she took a deep breath in before closing her eyes - closing her eyes to include her dream man...in her dreams. After the night that he had with the girls, the redhead especially, he just knew that it was sex that he needed to function well. When he got to the study, he sat on the chair, and raised his legs to place it on the table - a very bad habit to practise. He started thinking about what king Amal wanted him to do, but he didn't want to do it. King Amal wanted him to go against the stones, but that's something that he really doesn't want to do. So, he just knew that he needed to have a plan..and fast! There's no time to waste. Henry was feeling a little bit exhausted, not from the little fun he had with the redhead, but from overthinking everything. His mind had been unstable for a while now, and he could only blame it on one thing - thinking about the girl that he'd never even met before. He started wondering why he was always thinking about her, when he hadn't even seen her before. "Have I met her before?" Henry asked himself, and almost immediately, he answered his question with a quick no. He's never seen her before, then why was he feeling like he has? Like he has some emotional connection with her? Henry was confused, and instead of thinking of ways to formulate a plan about king Amal's action, he started thinking of ways he could meet with the girl that he's been dreaming about for a while. He badly wants to meet her, to see what was so special about her, that kept on making her appear in the great Henry's room. For her to be in his dreams like that, she must really have some connection with him. Henry thought.
