LYU 59
“Ghea…”
“Ghea Mariana Donovan.”
“Ghe woy, Ghe!”
Joshua was on the verge of losing patience when he needed Ghea’s help urgently, but his friend was just staring blankly with a smirk on her face. He wondered what spirit possessed her today. Nevertheless, observing her since this morning, it seemed like the girl with long hair was in a good mood.
“What’s up, Joshua?” Ghea replied annoyed. Pouting her lips, she glared at him with irritation. “What do you want?”
“Oh, why are you annoyed? I should be the one complaining. I need a recap of the procurement division’s documents regarding last month’s procurement. You checked and saved them, right? There are a few items that need to be re-entered.”
Ghea sighed. She opened her desk drawer and searched for what Joshua asked for. Once found, she promptly handed over the documents.
“Here!”
“Thanks, Ghea, you’re a lifesaver. Don’t pout like that. Your charm might fade away.”
“Whatever!”
“Oh, now you’re sulking.” Joshua pulled his chair closer, intentionally approaching where Ghea was sitting. “Don’t be mad, Ghe. As an apology, I’ll give you a new make-out tutorial video. So, when you practice, you’ll become even more pro and won’t be clumsy anymore.”
Instead of agreeing to Joshua’s offer, Ghea grumbled in frustration. She looked at her friend lazily.
“No need. Don’t send me those kinds of videos again. They were useless during practice.”
Joshua was shocked by Ghea’s statement. While the girl with long hair realized she had just blurted out something, she immediately covered her mouth. A moment later, she averted her face, pretending to have amnesia about the big blunder she made.
“Ghe… no need to act like you don’t care. My ears are functioning perfectly. I heard clearly what you just said.” Joshua leaned towards Ghea. Smiling meaningfully, he whispered, “So, you and Randy have…”
“Jo!” Ghea yelled while covering Joshua’s mouth. She wouldn’t let her friend blabber any further. “Stop it, seriously!”
Joshua tried to resist Ghea’s hand, attempting to move it away so he could speak.
“Ghea! I can’t breathe!”
“Promise not to bring it up again.”
Joshua just nodded. Instead of making it long and complicated, what’s the harm in just saying yes or okay?
Then Ghea slowly released her grip. Just as Joshua was free, he started talking, calling Denisa, who had just entered the room.
“Denis, come here,” Joshua beckoned immediately.
Denisa nodded and approached Ghea and Joshua, then took a seat. Luckily, their seats were aligned in the room, making gossiping quite easy.
“Why? What’s the gossip?” she asked, starting the conversation.
“This is not gossip, but big news, Denis,” Joshua said while laughing.
“Joshua, your mouth needs to be plastered shut!” Ghea exclaimed, extremely annoyed. But, what could she do? It was her fault for not controlling the conversation, leading to her own unintentional blunder.
“What’s the matter? Tell me already!” Denisa asked impatiently.
Joshua leaned his face forward, asking Denisa to come closer. “Ghea has experienced heaven on earth, guys!” he whispered.
“Wow, crazy!” Denisa exclaimed without realizing, catching the attention of other workers in the room.
“Don’t make a fuss, Denis. Your mouth is asking for trouble too!” Joshua protested, giving a warning.
“Oh, please. Look who’s talking. Your mouth is dangerous too!” Ghea protested, still visibly annoyed.
“Sharks eat Awkarin. Let it go!” Joshua teased deliberately.
“Enough… enough…” Denisa protested, mediating between her two friends. “No need to fight. This should be a happy moment, right?” she winked at Ghea. “You should treat us, Ghe.”
Ghea glared in disagreement.
“Why on earth should I treat you guys?”
“Yeah, as a celebration because you’re officially Mrs. Walters now. After this, you’ll be entirely Randy’s, right? Just one last task to fulfill. Give a grandchild to the extended family.”
Ghea rolled her eyes, briefly thinking about the grandchild she needed to provide to Mama Verona. She remembered well that her mother-in-law was eager for a grandchild to arrive soon in her and Randy’s marriage. However, was she ready at such a young age to conceive and have a child? What about her mental preparedness?
“I suggest that when you have time, you should see an obstetrician, Ghe,” Denisa commented.
“Obstetrician? Why?”
“Well, check on fertility. Your uterus health and other things. It’s necessary.”
Joshua nodded in agreement. The man supported Denisa’s suggestion.
“Yeah, Ghe. So you know your health condition. Whether you’re fertile, ready to conceive, or if there’s anything to be concerned about.”
Ghea fell silent. She pondered on her own whether she needed to do what her two friends were suggesting.
Lost in thought, the office door was heard knocking. Both turned to see Randy’s secretary at the door.
“Mba Ghea, excuse me. Mr. Randy asked you to come to his office right away.”
Ghea frowned but then nodded. She wondered in her mind what her husband was calling her for. After all, there was no work to be reported.
“Yes. Thank you. I’ll go there shortly.”
Ghea then got up, hurrying to meet Randy, who might be waiting for her in his office.

“Why did you call me? Is there something urgent?”
After entering Randy’s office and closing the door, Ghea walked closer. While chattering, she asked why her husband called her during working hours.
“Come here,” Randy said, waving towards Ghea. Signaling her to approach where he was sitting. Once Ghea complied and was very close, unexpectedly Randy reached for her wrist, pulling her down onto his lap.
“Uncle!” Ghea exclaimed in surprise when she found herself seated on Randy’s lap. “What are you doing?” Ghea asked nervously. Especially since Randy, without hesitation, embraced her and gave a wet kiss on her exposed neck.
“I miss you, Ghe,” Randy confessed shamelessly.
“Don’t be so cheesy, Uncle. It’s not like we haven’t seen each other for a long time.”
“But it has been a while, Ghe. Separated for a few hours, and I already miss hugging you. Want to kiss you.”
Ghea turned her head. She sighed while looking at Randy’s face, who smiled like a little kid.
“Don’t exaggerate. You haven’t been this cheesy before.”
“Just consider that after sleeping with you, I’ve become a total ‘bucin’ (someone madly in love). Can’t stand being away from you for too long. You know, Ghe, what vegetable is hard to forget?”
“What? What kind of question is that?”Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Oh, come on, just answer.”
“What is it then? Spinach?”
“Wrong,” Randy replied, shaking his head. “The vegetable that I find hard to forget is you, my spinach.”
“Oh, seriously. That’s so cheesy and corny!”
Randy laughed. Meanwhile, Ghea just shook her head at her husband’s increasingly absurd behavior.
“But seriously, now I really love you, dear.”
“Oh, come on, Uncle. Suddenly saying ‘I love you’? I’m used to it.”
“Well, you didn’t love me from the beginning,” Randy protested.
“Like Uncle Randy fell in love with me from the beginning. Both of us didn’t have any feelings, right?”
“Sharks bring rhinoceros. I love you suddenly, Ghea.”
“Come on, Uncle. Sharks eat rice, right?”
“Sharks choke on stones. If I love you, do you love me too?”
Why are they exchanging rhymes now?
“Seriously, Ghe. I may be unclear sometimes. But for now, my feelings for you are very clear. From the beginning, I had the intention to genuinely like and love you. Falling in love should be happy, right? If it makes you uneasy, it’s called off-tune, Ghea.”
Ghea sighed and pouted. It’s hard to match her husband’s words. Moreover, when she wanted to respond, Randy, without warning, pulled her face. Right then, he kissed her and didn’t allow Ghea to move before he joined in.
After a long time on Randy’s lap, they continued kissing. When it seemed enough, Randy finally released his hold.
“Uncle Randy, seriously, this is the office. What if Mr. Alvin or your secretary comes in and sees what we’re doing? It’s embarrassing!” Ghea complained.
Randy just smiled. He casually addressed Ghea’s concerns.
“Don’t worry. I already instructed not to be disturbed. Even if we make out in this room, no one will know.”
Ghea widened her eyes. Before she could protest, Randy once again pulled her face and resumed kissing. Devouring, savoring Ghea’s lips as if they were an addictive drug.
At first, Ghea resisted. But because her efforts were futile, she slowly surrendered and let it happen. And in the end, she also responded. After a few minutes, Randy’s office door suddenly opened. Both were made startled, especially Ghea, who saw a familiar figure.
“Giselle?”
