Love’ss 27
Chapter 27
Madelyn had only been out of the house for five minutes when Andrew called.
Andrew now had people stationed at Serenity Villa to keep an eye on her, probably because of what had happened that morning. As soon as she left the house, they reported to him.
On the phone with her, Andrew sounded stern. “Where are you going?”
Madelyn pouted and answered honestly, “The Miller residence.”
“Wait for me.”
Madelyn was driving. When she saw the time on the screen, she calculated that Andrew had only been at the office for less than an
hour.
“Hey, you don’t need to go through the trouble. If anything happens, I’ll call you.”
Madelyn had heard Grace’s overly gentle tone on the phone, but she had made progress with the Miller family by confessing her mistakes. Whatever Andrew was worried about probably wouldn’t happen.
However, Andrew remained firm as he said, “Don’t go in before I get there. I’ll be there soon.”
“Alright then.” Since he was insisting, Madelyn decided to obey.
Andrew relaxed slightly. When was the last time she had been this obedient to him?
He glanced at the black screen of his phone. At this moment, Jason came in and said respectfully, “George has arrived at the Miller
residence.”
“Okay.”

Andrew nodded, and a dangerous light filled his eyes. He asked icily, Has everything been arranged?”
“Don’t worry. Everything’s in place.”
Jason’s chest tightened. Andrew really had no scruples when it came to protecting Madelyn. He was practically throwing his conscience to the dogs.
Jason would bet a million dollars that this time, things would be over for the Garcias!

At the Garcia residence, Amelia made an appointment with Ashley for the next morning.
She said to Elena, “Ms. Ellsworth released a one–of–a–kind piece this year, and I’m going to get it for you tomorrow no matter what I have to do.
“I know the one you’re referring to, but it’s already reserved, isn’t it?” Elena really liked that gown.
There were so many elite heiresses who were willing to pay exorbitant amounts for it, but Ashley had announced that it had been designed for one person only. No other original piece would appear on the market, and this had disappointed many people.
Would Elena really get to wear that gown to Athena’s 80th birthday banquet?
Amelia nodded confidently. “Don’t worry, there isn’t anyone in this world who doesn’t like money. You know what I mean, don’t you?”
“Yes, you’re right, Mom.”
The heiresses hadn’t been able to get it because they probably hadn’t been willing to pay enough. Amelia didn’t believe that Ashley would
refuse if the price was right.
Amelia looked at Elena and hesitated.
Elena frowned. “What is it?”
“If you truly have feelings for Mr. Andrew, you should keep your distance from Easton.”Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Amelia had always approved of whatever Elena did with her life, but they could not afford to offend Andrew. Anyone who tried to two–time him would be playing with fire.
Elena stiffened when Amelia mentioned Easton.
“Mom, I’m sorry. I know that I shouldn’t, but I like Mr. Andrew very much. If Maddie and Mr. Andrew have a good relationship, I’ll keep my feelings under control and won’t make any trouble for you.”
Amelia’s expression relaxed.
She patted Elena on the back of her hand compassionately. She felt that Elena was always giving in to Madelyn while Madelyn was still kicking up such a fuss and being immature.
When Madelyn reached the Miller residence, she planned to wait outside as Andrew had said and go in with him when he arrived. However, Ryan was already waiting outside.
When he saw her car stop, he immediately went up to open the door for her. “Mrs. Miller.”
Madelyn’s eyes crinkled into a smile. “Mr. Rivera, I want to wait for my husband and go in with him.”
Ryan’s expression did not change. He shook his head sternly. “No. Madam Grace says that once you arrive, I’m to bring you straight inside.”
Madelyn asked “Who’s inside?”
Ryan remained silent.
Alarm bells went off in Madelyn’s head, but she had no choice but to get out of the car. “Alright.”
She followed Ryan inside.
She pulled out her phone to send a message to Andrew and tell him to hurry up.
However, when she got to the door, she heard George speaking
tearfully inside.
Madelyn was rendered speechless.
