“Peter.”
Anderson breathed.
Alexa looked up at him.
“Is that his name?”
She asked
“If you mean the guy who stuck this letter in your hair, then YES.”
Anderson replied.
“How can an evil person bear such great name?”
“Because his parents named him that?”
Anderson asked back, sarcastically.
“That same sarcasm.”
Alexa snorted and looked away, facing the other side.Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.
Anderson sank in his pool of thoughts, a faraway look on his face.
“If peter is back, then…”
“Then what?”
Anderson turned to face Alexa.
“How’d you hear me?”
“Because my ears are great?”
Alexa answered with the same sarcasm Anderson had used earlier.
Anderson rolled his eyes.
“Just want a payback.”
He mumbled.
Alexa stuck her tongue out
“You figured that out, thank goodness!”
Alexa said, expecting Anderson to reply, but when he didn’t… She went back to her previous question.
“If the guy’s back, then what?”
“Then we’re in great danger.”
“What?!”
“You heard me right.”
“Why are we in great danger? What did you do to him?”
Alexa asked horrified.
“Its a long story…. That which I can’t tell you.”
“Why? I’m supposed to be your wife!”
Alexa yelled softly.
“Well, you’re not yet! If only you didn’t go get kidnapped, you’d have every right to that title.”
Anderson spoke harshly.
“What? ‘Go get kidnapped?’ ”
Alexa repeated, trying to thoroughly understand what he was pointing towards.
“Yes.”
“Did I ask to be kidnapped? Wait, do you even understand the meaning of ‘Kidnap’ ?”
“Yeah, I do.”
Anderson replied, still as arrogant as ever.
“You don’t. If you do, you’d understand that I didn’t ask to be kidnapped.”
Alexa said, poking his chest with her index finger.

“You’d understand that I didn’t want to be kidnapped. You’d understand that I’m a kidnap victim here, and that Peter or whoever kidnapped me without my notice!”
Alexa yelled, at the brink of tears.
“Stop, the media…”
“What media?”
Alexa asked, trying so hard to stop her tears.
“Someone might take a picture of you us together and send it to the media like the last time your photos leaked.”
Anderson explained.
“The media? Photos?”
Alexa asked unable to believe her ears.
“Yap.”
“Wait, are some stupid photos more important than I am?”
“Not exactly…”
“Dude, I got kidnapped… You didn’t even ask me what happened and all, you couldn’t even ask me how I managed to come back here alive!”
“I was going to ask sooner or later!”
“Oh really? OK then.”
“What’s ‘Oh really? OK then’ mean?”
Anderson scrunched his eyebrow.
“Nothing. I just wanna go home.”
Alexa said glumly as she released herself from Anderson’s grip and stood up.
“Already? We still have a marriage certificate to sign.”
Anderson countered, standing to his feet too.
“I know you don’t care about me… But b! tch, my dress’s fvcking ripped!”
Alexa yelled and turned to walk out on him.
Anderson walked briskly behind her and caught her wrist, making her turn her pretty angry face to him.

“I noticed… That’s why I sent Bob to buy another one from April’s clothing brand.”
Anderson smiled.
“Huh?”
Alexa curved her brows, confused.
“Here.”
Anderson pursed his lips and turned Alexa’s shoulder, in such a way that she was facing the opposite direction.
“What’s there t…”
Alexa started, in the middle of rolling her eyes at Anderson’s word, but the sight she beheld was enough to shut her up.
“OMG!”
There, was Bob holding a blue velvet dress still on its hanger in his hands.
“When did you arrange this?”
Alexa asked as soon as she’d turn to face Anderson.
“When you were angry with me and all, Bob showed up. Actually, I had ordered him come here over the phone when you were still missing so we’d search for you together and forgot to call him not to come again when you appeared suddenly in front of me after I made the phone call. So I just pointed to your dress with the index finger on the hand that you were resting on.”
“Oh, so that’s how I didn’t notice…”
Alexa muttered.
“Yeah. So after pointing to your dress, I guess he understood what I meant and went to buy another one.”
Anderson explained.
Instantly, Alexa felt bad.
“I’m sorry for accusing you wrongly.”
“Its OK. I guess I forgot that some girls are emotionally inclined, and craves apologies and attention immediately, when needed.”
“Girls like me.”
Alexa said, and lowered her head slightly.
Anderson ran his index finger down her nose.
“Exactly!”
He smiled.
“I’m sorry for postponing the questions. I just wanted to ask when we get to somewhere appropriate and private.”
Anderson said.
“I’m sorry, either way.”
Alexa raised her head and apologized.
“I’m sorry too.”
Anderson apologized back, making Alexa smile.
“Alright, go take the dress from Bob and go change your clothe.”
“Change where? In public?”
Alexa asked, shocked.
Anderson laughed at her question.
“No. In the car. I and Bob will give you room for your business.”
“Oh….”
Alexa said in realization, before something else hit her mind.
“Which of the cars?
Yours or the one Bob brought here?”
“Mine, of course. We don’t want something private of yours to be forgotten inside the other car he’s gonna ride home, do we?”
“You’re always thinking with your morally corrupt side”
Alexa said.
“That’s me baby.”
“Pervert”
Alexa commented and made to walk away, but Anderson stopped her halfway.
“One more thing…”
Alexa turned back to face him.
“Which is?…”
Anderson walked up to her and when she least expected it, cupped her cheeks and pressed his lips down on her forehead.
‘CLICK’
Alexa blushed hard and turned away before running to the car to get changed.
“Don’t forget our visit to the lingerie store right after signing the wedding certificate!”
Anderson yelled after her.
“Stop it, we’re in public.”
Alexa replied, trying so hard to stop the flow of red into her face.
Anderson chuckled lightly, as he watched Alexa try to cover up her red face with no success as she got into his car.
“My Shy Wife!”
