Marry Ex's Uncle After Divorcement

Chapter 625

Chapter 625

Charlie only felt it ridiculous, however. “Why didn’t you tell me these when we met in the hospital? Deceiving me gives you a sense of accomplishment, right? Trust is not infinite. You’re destroying my trust to you!”

“If I told you the truth in the hospital, would you let me go? No. I bet you would take away the kids right away, wouldn’t you?”

“So what? Shouldn’t I take back my kids?” She’d gone too far. Why did she hide the kids? She’s not their mother, and she had no right to do so.

“They are my kids, too. I just want to live with them, but I know you won’t allow it, and your family won’t allow it, so sorry, Charlie. Forgive me. As a mother, I have to do this.” Theresa knew that Charlie could not feel her pain.

Charlie was totally confused by her words. Did she really regard herself as their mother now? What was this?

Role play? It still sounded ridiculous even though the kids really favored her. But Theresa hung up the phone before he could respond.

Charlie peered closely at the picture on the screen, in which Ben wore a big smirk on his face, with Leonard standing beside.

Leticia happened to see this scene as soon as she went upstairs. “Charlie, Cristina and Eugene are leaving. Should we stop them?”

Hearing Leticia’s voice, Charlie turned his head. “No. Let them go.”

A hint of bitterness rose from her heart as Leticia scrutinized Charlie’s haggard face. “How are things going? Where are the kids?”

“Take it easy, mom. They’re fine.” Charlie had to admit that he still uncontrollably believed Theresa as she said.

she wouldn’t hurt the kids. Her continuous lies hadn’t eliminated hid trust.

“Are you sure?”

“Theresa sent me the picture. The kids are with her.” Charlie said with a gloomy face.

“Didn’t she said she had no clue, did she? What’s her reason for doing this? Now that you’ve divorced, it doesn’t make sense for her to take your kids.”

“Maybe she can scarcely bear to leave the kids. They cling to Theresa more than anyone, so she just takes them away.”

“Then at least she should tell us.” A thought popped into Leticia’s head. “Did she do this on purpose because she regret divorcing you?”

“Regret?” Charlie still remained a frosty look. He couldn’t help but thinking of how Theresa refused him again. and again before their divorce. “She won’t! She’s the last one in the world who will regret divorcing me.” His face was overcast with great sadness, which stung Leticia’s heart. It occurred to her that her son was, unexpectedly, the most heartbroken one in this divorce. “Now that we’ve known the kids’ whereabouts, you can. take a good rest first. Oh, what a self-willed Theresa!” She mumbled while stepping downstairs, leaving Charlie alone to rest.

Eugene and Pat Nandlall were having a talk downstairs. Mr. Nandlall glanced over Cristina and said to Eugene, “How did you two start the relationship?”

“What?” Eugene was confused.

“I mean, you and Theresa, didn’t you…”

Eugene was quite speechless. “You’re reading too much into it. The girl I mentioned to you before is Cristina.

She used to be my schoolmate, and my girlfriend. How did you associate this to Theresa?”

Seeing Leticia coming downstairs, Eugene asked, “Auntie Leticia, can we leave now?”

Leticia gave him a slight nod. “Yes.” Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Thank you, Auntie Leticia!” Then Eugene brought Cristina directly to his car outside. He got in the car, but then found Cristina sat on the backseat instead of the passenger’s seat. “What are you mad about?”

“Send me back to my home. I’m not going to your house.”

Eugene gave her a meaningful look. “So you’re kicking down the ladder now?”

“I didn’t beg you to pick me up.”
