Marry Ex's Uncle After Divorcement

Chapter 627

Chapter 627

“I’ll never speak to him again.” Cristina swore.

Theresa nodded her head. “Did you have your supper?”

“No. I was alone at home, and I’d eaten nothing.” Actually she did nothing but crying from the moment she arrived home.

Theresa stared at Cristina. “You’ve never been true to yourself. You always deny your feelings with Eugene, but you care his every single word.”

“I’m just so angry. I never give my heart easily, but for him, he’s the only man I love. Now I know it’s only my wishful thinking. Literally I don’t have a good eye for men.”

“Let me get you some food first.”

“I want spaghetti.” This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

“As you wish.” Theresa rose from chair, heading toward kitchen. Her mind was flooded with confusion about

Eugene’s odd behavior. She could still recall Eugene’s sincere expression when he mentioned his plan to get married with Cristina. Why did he change his mind out of blue? Theresa had no clue at all.

As Theresa was busy cooking, Ben came downstairs and found Cristina sitting there. “Crisy.”

“Hey, since I’ve been your ‘mother’ for such a long time, at least call me Auntie.”

“Okay. Crisy.”

Just at this time Theresa came out with the spaghetti, looking at Ben surprisingly. “Why are you here? You should be sleeping on bed now.”

Ben riveted his eyes on the delicious spaghetti, “Mom, I want it.”

“It’s late, baby. You had your supper, remember? And you have brushed your teeth.” Ben was such a foodie just like Cristina. Theresa thought he most likely learnt it from Cristina.

“Then why can Crisy have it?”

“Because she doesn’t have supper tonight.”

“But I’m starving now.” Ben sat down beside, blinking his eyes at the plate.

Cristina’s heart softened. “I can share with him.”

“No. He has eaten enough food tonight. No more food tonight.” Theresa insisted restrict Ben’s diet for the sake of his health, otherwise he would pig out day and night.

The smell of the spaghetti made his mouth water. Ben pouted, staring straight at the plate. Theresa had no other way but carried him in her arms. “I’m taking Ben to his bedroom. Just come upstairs directly when you finished it.”

“Okay.” With a nod, Cristina started having her dinner.

Theresa took Ben to his room. Ben was four years old now, and it took her some efforts to hold him.

Ben put his arms around Theresa’s neck. “Mom.”

“Yeah, baby?” She lowered her head to peck on Ben’s face. “Time to sleep, baby.”

“I had a dream about daddy. Mom, I miss daddy so much.”

His words caught Theresa off guard. Every time Ben mentioned this topic, she felt her stomach knot. Silently, she put Ben on his bed. “Good night, baby. I’ll make you something delicious when you wake up tomorrow.”
