Chapter 4
“Everyone gather up now!” Lian ordered strictly and they all formed a circle, holding their hands. Then Lian muttered some indistinct words and BOOM! They found themselves outside, where their cars were parked.
It dawned on them that they actually teleported, due to Lian’s ability.
“Wow! That was cool.” Axel said, he was really amazed. “How come I don’t know about this power?” Mia questioned. “We need to know.” Marlin also said with an intense glare. “Same here.” Jabi and Shane said at the same time and now, a number of eyes were fixed on Julian.
“Y’all should take a chill pill, I discovered this ability months ago and.. it works on it’s own will.” Lian explained. “Wait, why am I even explaining this to you? I just saved your asses and I don’t even get a ‘Thank you’?” Lian queried with a straight face.
“Well, you got no choice than to save us, you’re our Alpha remember?” Mia teased and Lian snorted.
“I should’ve just left you all in there so that you’ll get arrested.” He mumbled. “What did you say?” Mia asked with a fake angry look. “Yeah.. what did you just say?” Shane attacked too.
“What now? You wanna beat me up?” Lian asked. “More like it…” Axel affirmed. “Guys are you ready?” Jabi shouted and on the count of three, Lian was being chased by 5 crazy pack members, including in Betas.

After Marlin’s car, which conveyed Mia, Axel and Jabi, drove out of sight, Lian and Shane got into Julian’s car.
“Where are we going first?” Shane asked. “Axel’s residence.” Lian replied and ignited the car.

“Haven’t I told you not to take candies in the morning? It’s too early for it.” Axel nagged as soon as he caught up with Jabi, who was walking alone, on the way to class.
“Gosh.. you startled me.” She said, looking horrified.
“Now, give me that.” Axel said, requesting for the candy which was stuck in Jabi’s mouth. She scoffed. “I won’t!” She said firmly and increased her pace. Axel caught up with her and snatched the candy, which was on her hand now. Then he tossed it inside a nearby waste bin.
Jabi glared at him. “What was that for?” She shouted. “Do not go against my words next time.” He said with a serious look on. Jabi rolled her eyes and continued walking. Axel caught up with her again. “So what did your mum say yesterday?” He asked.
“Well, I almost got spanked. I mean, she freaked out like crazy about me getting home late and all.” Axel hummed and she turned to him, making him stop in his tracks and staring at her.
“What about you.” She asked and continued walking. Axel shrugged. “It’s not like they care about what time o get home of leave. They aren’t even home at the moment.” He replied nonchalantly.
It was nothing new or stunning. They always didn’t have time for him, so before leaving home, they’d just drop stashes of money or transfer money into his account, to live his life to the fullest.
Jabi stopped for a minute, she could feel his pain but decided to cut it off.
“You trashed my candy, how will you make up for it?” She asked out of the blue. “Make up for what? I was simply trying to help your teeth not to decay.” He said in defence and she glared at him.
“Make up for it or don’t talk to me for the day.” She said.
“What! What do you want? Coffee? Yoghurt? Mention it.” He said in a rush. Jabi smiled inwardly and cleared her throat. “Coffee please.. with lots of sugar.” She said.
“Wait here for me.” He said and ran off, to the school’s coffee shop.
Jabi smiled as he watched him run but her smile didn’t last long as a passerby hit her shoulder with his.
She turned back and dragged the guy by his shirt. “What the fuck was that?” He queried. “I’m sure you won’t deny the fact that you hit me with that stupid shoulder of yours.” Jabi retorted.
“And what if I did?” The guy arched his brow and he wriggled himself out of her hold.
“Then I guess you weren’t thought manners, maybe you should get a teacher.” Jabi said with sarcasm and the guy’s blood started to boil. “Are you insulting my mum?”
“I see you are so daft. Where was ‘your mum’ mentioned in all I’ve been saying? Jeez… so dumb!” Jabi said and hissed. Suddenly, the guy raised his hand to hit her but his hand was caught up in the air.
Jabi turned back, to see Axel, holding up the no-mannered dude’s hand in the air while the other hand held a cup of coffee. Axel had this killing look on his face and Jabi was scared he would lose control.
“Who are you?” The no-mannered asked as he got loose from Axel’s grip.
“I should be asked that and why you want to hit her.” Axel replied more calmly.
“Oh.. so this good-for-nothing wench is your girlfriend?”
“Yeah… And this good-for-nothing can kill you right now with no one’s permission.” Axel said in a very cold voice.
The guy was about to speak when he heard his name called by someone.
“Ryan!!” The guy turned back and smiled at the pretty girl who called him. He motioned to her that he was coming and he turned to Axel and Jabi, to shoot a glare.
“Till whenever.” He said threateningly and left.
“That son of a whore!” Jabi swore.
“I can’t believe you almost got beaten up during the few minutes I was away.” Axel said and she glared at him.
“That asshole started it.” She said in defence and he chipped in. “Yeah yeah yeah… they are always the first to start and then I’m the one to end it.” He said humorously and she frowned her face.
“Do not think of yourself as an Hercules yet, you only held in his hand in the air.” Jabi mocked back and started walking away and he trailed behind. “Yeah, I should’ve just let him hit you.” He rolled his eyes.
She didn’t reply. “By the way…” She stopped in her tracks and turned to him, with her hands folded.
“That twat’s name is Ryan right? I hate his guts, add him to my blacklist.” She said and turned to continue walking.
“Yes ma’am.”
“Have you seen the Alpha today?” Jabi asked.
“Not at all, I haven’t even set my eyes on Mia, maybe they aren’t in school yet.”
Just then, Alexander walked up to Jabi.
“Hey.” He called. “Oh hi.” She replied, smiling.
“You left school early yesterday, why?”
“Actually nothing.. I just felt.. sick and decided to go home.” She lied.
“How are you feeling now?” “Fine.. I guess.”
“Okay do you mind if we walk to classroom together?”
“Not at all.” She replied excitedly, even though she tried to hide it. She ignored Axel completely and unknown to her, he was really hurt.
Alex stopped suddenly. “I want to get something from there, wait here.” He said and ran off. Then he came back with two sticks of candies and handed one over to her. As she collected it, Axel’s words resounded in her head.Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.
*IT IS TOO EARLY TO TAKE CANDIES. I’M SIMPLY HELPING YPUR TEETH NOT TO DECAY.*
She, however ignored his words and started kicking her candy. She looked back briefly but there was no trace of Axel.
‘Where did he go huh?’ Her face turned to a frown and Alex didn’t fail to notice. “Are you okay?”
“Oh yeah, I’m.. I’m fine.”

Julian’s POV
“How many rooms do we have left?” I asked my betas.
“About 10 more rooms.” Shane replied me and hurried into one of the hostel rooms.
We were in the students’ boarders, the hostel to be precise and we’ve been there since 6:30am. That was the time all the boarders moved to the main school.
I walked into another room with the hope of finding the red stone there. I wasn’t sure if what to do next if i don’t find the stone in the pack.
It’d be so difficult to get if it is outside the pack.
I searched the room thoroughly and as I moved to the next room, the feeling that the jewel was near overwhelmed me.
I walked further into the room and searched the first wardrobe, the second and then the third. I opened it and poured out everything that was in there. Lo and behold, the stone was lying right there, with it’s glitters lighting up the wardrobe.
“Shane! Marlin!” I called out in mind link and they came running.
“What the fuck!” Shane exclaimed as soon as he saw the diamond shaped and red-coloured stone.
“Fins out this room’s occupiers, we need to talk.” I said and walked our with the stone. I didn’t go to school, instead I set to travel into the thick forest, Hez.
