Mission: From Divorcee to Millionaire

Chapter 412

[Is this real life, or am I still dreaming?]

[Wow, I never thought I'd see the day!]

[Mr. Everett, blink twice if your account's been hacked.]

[Hey, Mr. Everett, even you have your moments, huh? It's true, heroes have always struggled to resist a beautiful woman!]

And of course, Jaime, the ever-entertaining clown, was bouncing around, adding to the chaos.

"Hey man, what's going on? This sudden change is kinda freaking us out! Seriously, if something's on your mind, just hit me up. I'm here for you 24/7!"

Everett shifted his gaze and quipped, "Mrs. Bennett, are you sure just posting it on social media will do?"

Selena rolled her eyes at him, "You guys just don't get it. Announcing it on social media is a really big deal!"

Everett was genuinely puzzled.

In his view, showing you care by offering the world to a woman seemed more significant than any social media post.

But as long as she was happy, he was okay with it.

He made a mental note of all those who teased him. When it came time for negotiations, he planned to charge them an extra five percent.

Later that evening, Selena emerged from her bath, wrapped in a loose robe. Everett, in his gold-rimmed glasses, was propped against the headboard, pouring over some documents.

With the seasons changing from summer to autumn, Selena's skin was feeling a bit dry. She sat at the vanity, poured lotion into her palm, and began applying it carefully.

But reaching her back was a challenge, even with her arms stretched out.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Everett glanced up, noticing her bare shoulders and the smooth skin of her back. She turned slightly, accentuating the lines of her neck, making the sight even more alluring. He closed his document, slid off his glasses, and set them on the nightstand.

His dark eyes were fixed on her, and in a husky voice, he offered, "Come here, let me help you with that."

Selena, without a second thought, gathered her robe and took the lotion over to him.

She sat on the bed with her back to him, gesturing to the spot she couldn't reach, "Right there."

"Alright."

He gently opened her robe, his warm

Before long, Everett wrapped his arms around Selena, his firm grasp

trailing down the nape of herneck.

Selena giggled, trying to squirm away from the ticklish sensation.

She breathed softly, trying to stop him, "Everett, stop... I'm worried about the baby..."

But he was too caught up in the moment to stop now. He turned her face towards him, kissing her lips as he reassured her, "Remember? I've got experience now, I know what I'm doing."

Memories of his past antics flashed in Selena's mind, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red.

Everett gently laid her down on the bed, his hand clasping hers, their fingers intertwined.

He kissed her deeply, cherishing her in the most gentle and loving way.

Watching her cheeks flush with color, her dark eyes brimming with mist, and hearing the soft moans she made.

Every bit of it filled him with joy, utterly satisfying him.

Just as things were heating up, Everett's phone rang out of the blue.

It was a distinct ringtone, one reserved for Margot.

Everett's intense gaze flickered with a hint of clarity. He propped himself up slightly, reaching for his phone.

His finger hovered over the answer button, but Selena quickly snatched the phone away from him.
